Chapter 82

That morning Bram went to a branch company owned by his uncle in the country. Bram went straight in without stopping in front of the reception desk. But who would have thought the friendly greeting of the hijab woman made Bram stop his steps for a moment. He looked at the woman who greeted him kindly.

But Bram undoes his intention to greet him back when he remembers the woman was married. Seen from his stomach that looks bulging like a pregnant person. Bram went straight to the elevator where Thomas was, as they had promised to start an investigation today.

The receptionist woman was silent seeing Bram ignoring her and even being indifferent to her. She researched clothes as well as anything Bram might have seen strange.

"Why him?"

"Is there anything strange about me?"

"True Kate said, he's a cold guy." The woman shook her head

"Sarin!" A woman approached the hijab-wearing woman.

"Have you been to the toilet?" Ask the hijab-wearing woman named Karina.

"Hm. What was? Tumben your face like that?" Kate asked, hearing Karina's upset.

"It turns out you were right. The guy that was cold yesterday." Karina replied somewhat annoyed.

"Your handsome guy yesterday?" Ask Kate excitedly. Karina continued her work.

"He's coming again?" Ask Kate again. Karina just nodded. She had to sit a lot because of her pregnancy, Kate who welcomed more guests than Karina. Kate herself feels fine knowing how young pregnant women are doing. Karina will help if many guests come.

Bram sighed in the elevator. He was a little sorry for ignoring Karina. Not because she likes that woman but she completely forgot to meet Karina but where. His mind was thinking who Karina was, could it be that she knew him somewhere or had met him somewhere.

The open elevator made Bram's daydream instantly crumble, he chose to forget the problem for a moment. He must immediately resolve the problems related to corporate corruption as well as project items stolen by an individual who with the help of company insiders.

Bram knew that after studying Thomas' files yesterday. But there's something odd about the files Thomas gave me yesterday. Like something was covered up by him to make him look uninvolved.

"Good morning sir." Greet Thomas' secretary in her seductive, coquettish style.

"Thomas is?" Bram asked without further ado, not hinting at the cheap woman's temptation.

"You've been waiting for sir." The secretary replied trying to bend over intentionally exposing her sexy cleavage. But Bram chose to avoid it and went straight in without knocking on the door. While the secretary was upset to feel ignored by Bram.

"Huh, cocky. Good-looking." The secretary grumbled as she sat back in her chair.

"Mr Bram." Welcome Thomas pretended to be friendly with his lick style.

"Hm."

"Please sit down, sir!" Thomas allowed Bram to sit on the sofa and Bram immediately sat on one of the single sofas because neither Thomas nor his secretary patted him like yesterday.

Tempting him not to implicate Thomas as one of the accomplices of the man Bram was investigating. But it seems the seduction failed to make Bram yell rudely at Thomas and his secretary. Bram thinks Thomas and his secretary will be arrested. But apparently not, making Bram even more suspect that Thomas was really involved in the case.

"Master want to drink something?" Bargain Thomas pleasantries.

"No. I want to learn the file system from yesterday." Bram replied firmly. Bram did not want the two men to give him a drink that might have been given something until he would have made a mistake.

"Oh yes sir. Do you need information about someone?" Thomas's fishing rod smiled meaningfully.

"someone? Who?" Tanya Bram frowned. He didn't want to get into this asshole's trap.

"About our hijab receptionist." Said Thomas without further ado. Making Bram's cheeks inexplicably suddenly flushed and immediately cleared his throat.

"Don't tell me you're gonna tell him to seduce me!" Bram doesn't like it.

"If you want, anything will I do?" Thomas said with confidence.

"Don't you know she's pregnant?" Said Bram annoyed with the tone of emotion.

"Are you used to doing such immoral things to your own employees all this time?" Hardik Bram made Thomas shudder in horror but he did not give up. Whatever he would do to save his life even if he had to sacrifice his own employees.

"Don't you admire him?" Tempta Thomas did not give up.

"Dragon your speech! Don't make me more angry!" Bram snapped annoyed, he loosened his tie which felt suffocating for some reason he was angry when this middle-aged man before him offered Karina to tease him.

Thomas who was being yelled at grew even more horrified. He abandoned his intention to lure Karina.

"Despite being pregnant she is not married." Thomas's words were able to make Bram glare dislike but undo his intention to yell again and digest Thomas' words about Karina.

Instantly his concentration to learn the file was scumming because somehow he became a little calm hearing Karina was not married even though she was pregnant.

"What do you mean?" Bram asked in a low tone not as emotional as before. Immediately a grin appeared on the lips of the middle-aged jerk who felt his bait was lured.

"Well that's how you are, sir. But not that you're not interested in him." Thomas's fishing rod again made Bram glare at him.

"Ah well sir. She worked here before becoming pregnant and after a month of work she was pregnant and admitted that she had just divorced from her husband when applying to work here. And she didn't know she was pregnant. And now it's been three months and she's been working here with a womb that's maybe two or three months without a husband." Obviously Thomas made Bram think.

Bram seemed silent to think even though he pretended to stare at the file he had opened since then without being turned back because his concentration collapsed after hearing the explanation about Karina from Thomas.

"I'd like to see the financial statements of the last two years." Bram suddenly stood up from his seat made Thomas jerked in shock to stand up and go awry.

"Tap but sir.." Thomas tried to evade despite finally failing and Bram remains difficult to woo.
