HALF MY SOUL

HALF MY SOUL
EXTRA PARTS (3)

Luna spent her day as the wife of William Smith. After her wedding day, Luna stayed at Smith's residence. He who in fact is not one of the people, was so amazed by what he saw. A soft bed, a neatly arranged room, and also so many servants to take care of the house.

He sat on a sofa, but not wanting to dirty it, he just sat at the end of the sofa. When he wakes up, he will flick his hand towards the sofa to clean it. This kind of life was far from his shadow all along.

Being a waitress in a bar is her job at night. Small rented rooms and thin mattresses have become her daily food. Luna is actually a family in the city of Surabaya, but the accident that took the life of his father and made his mother paralyzed, making his life changed 180 degrees.

His parents' property was forcibly taken by his father's brother, who made him finally leave Surabaya with his mother. But unfortunately unmeasurable, Mother following the departure of her father 2 years after the accident.

Every day she would prepare for William's needs, trying to be a good wife. Michael and Elena were also kind to him, probably because there was a baby Smith in his body. Luna did not demand more, as long as the child she gave birth to had a family and was recognized by William, it was enough for her.

"Please," Luna took food for William, then she returned to the kitchen. She was used to preparing breakfast for her husband, even though the servants had stopped her.

"Sit down, Lun," said William.

"No, I'm just here."

"Come here. You are my wife, not my servant!" William began to raise his voice, making Luna finally comply with William's request.

Currently, he is only two in the dining room, because Michael and Elena have returned to Japan to take care of the company there. The servants were in the back room.

Luna sat down next to William, yet she could only lower her head. He knows and is self-aware of his current position, he will demand nothing.

"Luna Adyaksa, how long will you keep looking down, bowing your head?"

"I know what you're feeling right now, I'm sorry. I should have apologized a long time ago, but I was so arrogant and thought you deserved it. You know when I was affected by drugs?" Luna nodded her head.

"I also did not justify my treatment of you at that time. I'm really sorry. I'm not a perfect man and I can't be a good husband to you. But let me learn for it. I promise I'll always be there for you and our son."

"Later tonight, I'll take you to dinner together. Yeah, just the two of us. Let this be a sign that I will not play with this marriage relationship. I've been disappointed, I've had heartache, and I don't want to ruin my marriage a second time."

"I-i ..."

"You can ask anything from me, because I am your husband, and you are the mother of my son. We're going through this together. Marriage is how we defend. Although there is currently no love between us, but there is an angel in here who will be the bond between us" William touched Luna's stomach, making Luna's heart warmed because she saw William's sincerity in every word she said.

"Thank you" said Luna.

"I should be thanking you for accepting a man like me as your husband. The road ahead of us is still long, and I need someone to hold on to each other, in order to get through," Luna smiled and nodded her head.

William stood up from his seat, then approached towards Luna, "May I hold you?"

Luna stood up and approached William. She could smell the masculine fragrance of her husband from such a close distance. He still remembered this fragrant night, the night that made him cry alone every day. Unknowingly, Luna returned to shed tears.

"Don't cry anymore, forgive me," William wiped Luna's tears with his finger, then kissed Luna's forehead deeply.

I always watch you in silence. I know your heart must hurt when you're near a man who raped you. But, I will try to be a good husband and parent for our child later. Believe me, I will change. - William.
