Chapter 54

After traveling for approximately 17 hours, Ryan's jet landed perfectly at London Airport.

Initially their destination was America, but before taking off at an Indonesian airport, Xavier asked Ryan for help, to hide Artika, so they agreed to change their destination to London.

During the trip Artika just spend time to sleep, and Ryan faithfully keep Artika while on the way.

Ryan did not even close his eyes at all, he was afraid that Artika would wake up from her sleep.

"Artika, wake up we have arrived" said Ryan as he patted Artika's cheek gently.

Artika who felt her sleep was disturbed, immediately opened her eyes and she saw Ryan who was smiling towards her.

"Have we reached Ryan yet?" ask Artika with a typical sound of people waking up.

"Yes, we've arrived. Let's go downstairs, you can continue sleeping in the car later" Ryan asked Artika. Ryan knows for sure Artika will experience jet lag.

"Ryan, I want to go to the toilet, where the toilet is" Artika asked Ryan.

"That's right there. Go away I'll wait for you here" Ryan replied as he pointed at a door.

Artika immediately got up from her position, and walked towards the toliet that Ryan had shown. About 15 minutes of Artika came out of the toilet, with a face that looked fresher.

"It's done, if it's let's go down, we've been up to 20 minutes ago" Ryan asked Artika.

"True, why didn't you wake me up" asked Artika with a pouting face.

"You sleep well, I can't wake you up. But since there was no other choice, I ended up having to wake you up as well" Ryan replied as he stepped towards the exit of the jet.

Artika just followed Ryan's steps, when going down the stairs, Ryan held Artika's hand, and led Artika to go down the stairs.

Axel and Steven who witnessed the scene can only glare at their eyes, why their boss can be together with a beautiful woman, even very attentive to the woman.

"Stev, is that really our boss, am I dreaming" Axel asked Steven

Plaaaa.... Steven hit Axel in the head.

"Aaawwwhh...why did you hit me asshole?" axel shouted in annoyance as Steven hit his head.

"Yes you're right Stev, your blow hurts means it's our boss" Axel said excitedly.

"Oh.. finally our boss has found the moorings of his heart" Axel continued dramatically. Steven just rolled his eyeballs looking at Axel's behavior.

Ryan and Artika were standing in front of Axel and Steven.

"Boss, who's the pretty lady next to you?" axel asked with sparkling eyes looking at Artika.

"Haii, meet me Artika, sister of her cousin Brother Xavier" Artika said as she extended her hand towards Axel and Steven.

"No need to shake hands with them, you two just mention your names" Ryan stared intently at Axel and Steven.

Artika immediately pulled her hand back. Axel and Steven were very understanding of the gaze Ryan gave them.

"I'm Steven, Ryan's boss, and Xavier's friend" Steven said in a flat tone.

"Haiii too, I'm Axel boss Ryan's man. Are you really Xavier's cousin's sister" asked Axel, who had just learned that Xavier had a younger cousin. Artika just nodded her head.

"That means, do you want to take a walk to see the city of London" Ryan asked gently to Artika.

"Now we are in London Artika is not in America. This is the country where I live" Ryan replied to Artika's question.

"Did Brother Xavier leave me here with you" asked Artika with his shoulder face. Artika thinks that Xavier left her.

"Don't think like that, Xavier didn't leave you, he's on business here. So he brought you here first, after that it was new to America" Ryan explained gently to Artika.

"Xavier is now away taking care of his business, so he left you to me. Later he will pick you up after his business is done" Ryan continued.

"Ryan are you going to take me for a walk around London" Artika said excitedly.

"Yes, do you want to leave now, or do you want to rest first" Ryan asked Artika with a smile.

"You have jet lag Artika, yes you rest first. After you feel better, then I will take you to walk around the city of London" Ryan said with worry about the condition of Artika.

Artika just obeyed Ryan's words. Ryan invites Artika into the car driven by Steven.

Axel was sitting next to Steven who was driving the car, Ryan and Artika were sitting in the back seat, Ryan was very attentive to Artika.

Ryan leaned Artika's head on her shoulder, and stroked Artika's head affectionately.

Axel and Steven just pay attention to what Ryan is doing, they do not expect if Ryan can behave like that.

They finally arrive at Ryan's mansion, after a 40-minute journey from the airport.

Artika notices Ryan's luxury mansion, Artika wonders who exactly Ryan is, Ryan has a private jet, and the mansion is so luxurious, even the mansion is guarded tightly by people in black uniforms.

"Artika, come on in, you need to get some rest, I'll have my trusted doctor come to check on you" Ryan asked Artika.

Ryan leads Artika into his mansion, and shows the room that Artika will occupy.

Ryan painstakingly helped Artika to lie on the bed.

"Rest, I'll take care of you" Ryan said as he put a blanket on Artika's body.

"Thank you Ryan, you don't have to take care of me, just do your job, I know for sure you're busy" Artika declined subtly.

"I'll take care of you, and I'm not busy" Ryan said firmly, not liking Artika's refusal.

Artika can only follow what Ryan said, because it does not want to make Ryan disappointed, especially Xavier who entrusted himself to Ryan.

Artika immediately closed her eyes, seeing that Ryan immediately sat on the sofa in the room.

Ryan immediately ordered Steven to remove the traces of Artika, immediately Steven carry out orders from the boss. As per his promise to Xavier, Ryan will help Xavier hide Artika from Afkar.
