CHAPTER IX: The wrong decision

"So he's the new kid who instantly captivated the eyes of young master Astrada? Isn't he like a child?"

Sasha looked up at the commotion behind her. Seen in his eyes some mall officials are herding their customers to get out immediately. "What..this?" Sasha asked still while looking at those people.

Lion kisses Sasha's cheek for the girl to pay attention to him again. "Where might I let you feel uncomfortable."

"But how did you do it? You've been by my side ever since" he said.

"That's not what you should think sweety, find what you need as much as you need now." Answer in a warm tone.

Sasha no longer understood how this man could use his connections just because he complained a little. Looks like he should stop complaining so that people don't get hit like this.

"Why do you keep staring at me? Does my good looks fascinate you even more, Sasha?" Lion asked with his usual annoying haughty smile.

Sasha sighed. He took off Lion's hand from his body and departed from the man. "I'll get my business done quickly. You'd better open this mall to the public soon."

"As your request princess." Reply Lion obediently as usual.

Lion's move that was about to approach Sasha stopped. He turned around to make sure a faint voice called out to him.

There's no one near him. There was no figure that he suspected as the owner of the voice earlier. Was it just a hallucination?

"Lion?"

Lion gasped in shock as Sasha's soft voice reprimanded him. He smiled softly realizing that Sasha seemed to be observing him from earlier. "Sorry I'm a little dreamy, is it over?"

Lion was speechless as Sasha's soft hand stroked his face. His smile faded a little. Now he was only focused with an anxious face from Sasha.

"Are you sick? Your face suddenly pale Lion, you're also quite sweaty" worried Sasha noticed this man's change that she had ignored a moment ago. "What are you thinking?"

Sasha's tiny hands off her face. He held the hand gently. He kissed her with affection.

The hand that will touch it. Hands that will take care of it. Hands that will continue to make him feel comfortable when he touches.

"I'm afraid of losing you Sasha. Just thinking about it makes me cramped." Honest Lion.

Sasha snorted softly at how weak this man was. He stroked Lion's hair with one hand that he did not use. "We haven't even started Lion yet. Trust in God. As long as you leave your business to God, God will take good care of it."

Alya clucked. "What kind of stupid thought is that! This dress will make them see you more. This dress is specifically Mr. Astrada's design for you you'd better not let her down."

The two turned to find Lion who was now standing at the door. Sasha runs around to the charming man who will be her husband in a while. "Lion have I ever praised you handsome before?" He said with sparkling eyes staring at Lion.

Lion chuckled softly. "I'm the one who should be wondering what other compliment I can give you."

Alya stared in amazement at the two pairs of humans who were so dazzling. He didn't think it would be this good for both of them. Like the story of a princess and a prince. Even Aolion's sweet demeanour really amazed her.

Sasha is truly a human with great luck!

Sasha clasped her hands around Lion's neck. Although his heels have slightly increased his height but he must still tiptoe in order to reach Lion's face. "I love you, Lion!"

Lion did not reply because Sasha had already kissed him.

Lion who had closed his eyes enjoyed Sasha's touch immediately opened his eyes. Her body froze no longer returning Sasha's kiss.

Realizing something strange with Lion makes Sasha give distance to be able to see the look of Lion's face. "Lion..?" Call slowly.

"What's Lion?" Sasha asked worriedly. Alya who felt the atmosphere suddenly change was staring anxiously at the two from her place.

The wedding will soon be held, but what really happened to the groom?

Lion gritting his teeth held back his emotions. "I shouldn't have asked you to get married now."

Both Sasha's pupils were perfectly rounded. His body was stiff with his trembling lips unable to make a sound.

"What do you mean, Mr Astrada? The show will start in an hour and what nonsense are you talking about now?!" Tukas Alya was full of anger.

Sasha held her dress tightly. "Lion, do you think this is funny?"

"No Sasha you misunderstood! I love you! I-"

"Then what do you really want Lion!?" Jerky Sasha hard. "You are in a hurry to marry me! You made everyone know that I was your woman! And now you want everything to just stop? Is it because you're an Astrada so you don't have a problem with this?" He said with great disappointment. Sasha didn't even know when she was crying. He also did not know he was crying because he felt played, tricked or betrayed.

"I'm sorry Sasha, I shouldn't have said that, I swear I didn't say it because I had the intent to play you or anything, I'm afraid I'm just going to let you down later.." Really.." obviously Lion tried not to make Sasha cry. He grabbed Sasha's face, wiping off the dagger-like tears for her. "I beg you not to cry Sasha, I love you.."

"Hiks. hyks.. Lion now it's not too late for you to be honest with me. Decide before I hate you even more.." replied Sasha raucously.

Lion shook his head. He took a breath in trying to convince himself. "I'm afraid if you're not happy with me but if you're really willing, I'll marry you anyway. You also have to promise me that you'll only be happy with me." Lion smiled gently trying to calm his Sasha. "Can't you?"

Sasha nodded slowly.

Alya breathed a heavy sigh. "Everybody must have experienced something like that, Mr. Astrada. You should have convinced yourself before you met Sasha today. You really made a mistake!" alya's Nagging.

"Oh no! We need to quickly fix your makeup!" exclaim Alya gelagapan. "Sasha come here fast!"

Lion releases Sasha letting her back in. Although he had tried hard to be sure of himself, but the whisperings that haunted him continued to make him anxious.

Sasha, please don't get hurt because of me.
