Tries tough

Gracce had just finished washing the dishes and made up his bed. Outside it was raining very hard. Gracce was so grateful, it rained after he got to the boarding house. Gracce sat on the couch, she saw the calendar on her phone. "Tomorrow must pay money for uts" said gracce lirih. Gracce stood up and opened the closet and prepared money for her midterms.

"Let's gracce giratt".", said grace while hugging her bolster. Gracce closed her eyes, and tried to go to sleep immediately. Sometimes gracce felt he was not strong to continue to survive with his condition. But he tried to continue to toughen up, and stepped in to realize his dream all along.

Rainwater seemed to wash over the streets, after a heavy rain last night. The morning weather was cold and very cold. Gracce put on her flagship jacket, and prepared for the hospital.

"Rest should be pacified for a while" said gracce in his heart. He stepped foot excitedly towards the nearest bus stop.

Gracce saw a car he knew very well was passing through the bus stop, where he was waiting. The doctor's car passed the bus stop, but the doctor did not see Gracce there.

Gracce was relieved after seeing doctor reynold's car pass her by. He immediately boarded the incoming bus, and sat down in a chair by the glass as usual.

"Gracce you can go to my room, yes", said Amora upon arrival at the hospital. "It's good ma'am.", replied gracce . Gracce followed Amora into her room. Amora is the chief financial officer at the hospital where Gracce works.

"Your college is good, isn't it gracce?", asked Amora. "Yes bu all is smooth, next week gracce starts uts", replied gracce with a smile.

"Gracce..do you know that Nadila will be on maternity leave next week?" said Amora. "Yes ma'am I heard.", replied gracce. "Yesterday we had a meeting for a temporary replacement for nadila. And we agreed, you'll be a nadila substitute for this 3 months, as long as he's on leave, you want a gracce?" say amora again.

Gracce was silent and seemed hesitant to reply to Amora. "You don't have to worry about gracce, I'm sure you can definitely do the job" Amora assured gracce.

"But ma'am.wouldn't anyone protest if I replaced nadila?", asked gracce hesitantly. " Gracce.why should people protest.this is only temporary, and you can get a lesson from this position. At least the addition of experience for you", said Amora again.

Gracce lowered her head, "alright ma'am.if this is what the management has decided to do" replied the gentle gracce. Amora stroked gracce's shoulders, and looked at him with a smile.

Gracce is preparing for a break. He's chasing time for the campus. Then back to the hospital, before the rest is up. The gracce campus is not so far from the hospital. But Gracce seemed to rush, for fear of being late to return to the hospital.

"Akhhhhhh....",

Gracce grimaced in pain, while touching the wound on her leg. Gracce fell down, running in a hurry, on her way back to the hospital. Gracce stood up, then kept running towards the hospital, regardless of the wounds on his legs.

Gracce didn't realize doctor Reynold was watching her since. "Follow me in the gracce room" said Reynold to the reigns. Gracce stood up from his chair, then followed Reynold from behind while walking in a limp.

"You can't clean the wound on your leg like it's just a gracce, let alone this wound is quite large" said Reynold upon arrival in the room. Gracce just kept quiet, not answering reynold's remarks.

Reynold took alcohol and cotton from the medicine box. "Sit here" said Reynold again. Gracce sat on the couch in Reynold's room. Reynold looked hunched over and looked at the wound on the gracce leg.

"Why did you fall like this?", asked Reynold again. "I'm in a hurry back from college" replied the hesitant gracce. Reynold shook his head, hearing gracce's reply.

Gracce returned from campus without taking public transport. Gracce did that, because he wanted to cash his pocket. Gracce exhaled long, while closing the door of the reynold room. Gracce felt bad, because reynold saw him hurt like that.

"The woman is good at seducing doctors here and amora's mother" Jasmin told numa. "It is fortunate that he is only a substitute, even if he can do the nadila work" said Numa in a mocking tone.

Gracce fell silent from inside the toilet. Gracce overhears a conversation of jasmin and numa from behind the toilet. Gracce waited for them to finish dressing up, and she came out of the toilet.

Gracce looked at his face in the mirror. "Am I not worthy" said Gracce in his heart. Gracce washed her hands, trying to convince her heart, to ignore the words of jasmin and numa.

"You want me to take gracce with you" Reynold told gracce, at the hospital lobby. Jasmin looked at the gracce with a sharp glare, hearing doctor reynold offer the gracce to go home with her. "I'm fine" replied Gracce, then left doctor Reynold.

Reynold was speechless to see gracce running away leaving him just like that. He looked at the gracce that was walking in limp, with a look full of pity.

Gracce opened her wallet after boarding the bus. Only fifty thousand one pieces of money were left in his wallet at this moment. Gracce looked deep into the glass of the bus, and tried to stay strong for the day.
