Chapter 45 Take care of God's soul mate

Felix, Gavin and Viktor run in search of Devan's whereabouts. They were now running towards a very steep cliff.

"Are you sure Devan went here?" ask Viktor to Gavin and Felix.

"Anyways he is frustrated and does stupid things without thinking first" replied Gavin as he searched the area looking for Devan.

"I don't think Devan will act like that. He's the one who always thinks about the consequences before he does something" Felix said as he walked around looking for his friend who was heartbroken.

"We'll see, who knows he-"

Gavin stopped his steps and his hand stopped Felix and Viktor's steps with his eyes looking in one direction.

"What's wrong?" ask Viktor who was surprised by Gavin who stopped his steps suddenly.

Gavin pointed in the direction he saw. Felix and Viktor follow the direction pointed by Gavin. The two of them were shocked to see Devan actually being there.

"That's Devan?" ask Viktor to Gavin and Felix by pointing in the direction indicated by Gavin earlier.

"That's really Devan?" felix didn't believe what he saw.

"What did we think was really going to happen?" gavin asks Felix and Viktor in disbelief to see Devan.

The three of them look at Devan who is now standing on the cliff border. Their distance from where Devan is located is not far and not close. So that they could see if the person they were pointing at was really Devan, their friend who they were worried about because of a broken heart.

Devan yelled out his frustration. He wanted to shout out his heart, his disappointment as well as his heartache at the reality that he felt was unfair and cruel to him.

All this time he was very caring for Ayuna like her boyfriend with the aim of making her his girlfriend. And now he has to accept the fact that Ayuna is not for him. Then, has he only been guarding the soul mate of God?

Felix, Gavin and Viktor immediately ran towards Devan. With all their might they approached Devan intending to prevent Devan from doing dangerous things.

"Devan!" yelled Felix, Gavin and Viktor at the same time.

Devan who was about to return shouted stopped his activities. He did not cry because he heard his name scream from a very familiar voice in the senses of his listeners.

Devan turned to the source of the voice he believed was the voices of his three best friends, Felix, Gavin and Viktor.

"Dev, apa yang kamu lakukan?" tanya Felix yang berusaha mengatur nafasnya karena berlari menuju tempat Devan.

Devan looked astonished at his three best friends. He did not understand the question asked by Felix because he thought he was very clearly yelling, but Felix still asked what he was doing.

"Is it just because of a broken heart that you would do such a stupid thing?" said Viktor with a loud breath.

"There are still many other girls Dev. Not just because of an Ayuna, then you will end your life," said Gavin with a serious look Devan who showed his confused face because of the words of his three friends.

"What do you mean?" devan asked by looking alternately at Felix, Gavin and Viktor.

The three of them looked at each other. Then Gavin replies to represent Felix and Viktor.

"You don't have to end your life just because of a girl. We can help you. We will always be by your side. So we hope you don't do things that will cost you."

Devan frowned, not expecting that what he was doing made his friends think badly of him.

"Aren't you going to jump out of here?" ask Viktor doubtfully.

Devan frowned again, then he chuckled at what was in the minds of his three best friends.

Seeing Devan laugh makes Felix, Gavin and Viktor astonished. They look at each other. Gavin shook his head as Viktor and Felix saw him as if they were asking Gavin through his eyes.

Replaces with Felix when Gavin and Viktor stare at him. She moves her shoulders as a sign she doesn't know what they're asking.

"Who will jump down? You think I'm gonna kill myself?" devan asked who had now stopped his laughter.

"Yes" Felix, Gavin and Viktor answered.

Devan laughed again at the answers of his friends. Devan's laughter really made the three of them become very confused.

"Devan is no longer a welcome, is it?" viktor asked in a soft voice at Felix and Gavin.

"Don't know. But how weird is it?" felix said, looking at Devan, who was still laughing.

"Ask the person directly" Gavin said as he walked closer to Devan.

"Dev you're a mess, right?" gavin asked while patting Devan on the shoulder.

"Father. I'm doing fine. Why why?" devan said by showing his confused face.

"So you suddenly disappeared. So we thought you would commit suicide by jumping off this cliff" said Viktor who is now near Devan.

"We are afraid that you will act foolishly just because you are heartbroken with a girl" said Felix, who is also near Devan.

Devan laughed again. He was sad and upset because he was heartbroken, but thanks to his three friends, he can now laugh, a little reduce his disappointment for what has happened.

"I killed myself? You guys are really ridiculous. Who would kill themselves just because they're heartbroken?" devan asked, chuckling.

"Not that you will..," Gavin did not continue his words because he doubted if what he had thought was wrong.

"I just want to scream here. I want to bring out all the flavors that are in my chest right now" Devan said, looking at the faces of his three best friends.

Felix, Gavin and Viktor are shocked. The three of them stared at each other, after a while they laughed realizing their stupidity which turned out to be not Devan who did not think long, but those who did not think long.

They doubted a Devan who really thought before acting and always put Ayuna's happiness before her happiness.

Devan has always been like that. It's just that Felix, Gavin and Viktor forgot about it. So it can be ascertained if Devan will prioritize the happiness of Ayuna if Ayuna really can be happy together with God.

"Then, what's your next plan?" asked Felix with curiosity.

Devan looked towards the scenery around the cliff. Then he breathed heavily. He was silent for a moment to think.

"I'll go back to Ayuna. If indeed he chooses a God without coercion from anyone, I will support him even though I feel pain here.", Devan said with a bitter smile and held his chest to show his pain.
