Chapter 71 - Exit

The cultivators who came from the Green Star World were stunned when they saw the Tree of Life had withered in Yi Yun's hands. This is something they never expected.

“You! What are you doing?” Shouted Song Feng with all his might as he looked at the Tree of Life that had withered. Originally he and the other renowned Patriarchs wanted to take the Tree of Life for them in order for their cultivation to increase drastically. But he did not expect that the Tree that would appear once in a certain period of time would wither right in front of him.

“Is this tree so valuable? Why did it wither when I touched it?” The awakened Yi Yun made a silly excuse because he knew that the situation was currently not supporting him because he and Ouyang Liu-Li were being surrounded by many strong cultivators.

Yi Yun's words made all the cultivators who had approached wanted to vomit blood.

Ouyang Liu-Li on the other hand was speechless with Yi Yun's words.

The cultivators of the Green Star World did not know what to do at the moment. Why did the Tree of Life wither? Previously, if someone touched it, anyone would be killed within a minute. On the other hand, Yi Yun did not die at all and no changes occurred to Yi Yun's body.

Now, even cultivators in the Green Star World began to doubt whether it was the real Tree of Life or not as recorded in the legends.

“Don't talk silly boy! You must have done something to the Tree of Life!” Shouted Zu Shan furiously and his aura exploded.

Ouyang Liu-Li immediately moved in front of Yi Yun while taking out a duplicate crystal. If something goes wrong, he will use it again.

Song Feng, Li Sou and the Patriarch of the Wang clan were petrified on the spot as well as remembered about the monstrous woman who bullied them earlier.

“Senior Zu Shan, don't be rash! That crystal is.” Song Feng told briefly through voice transmission to Zu Shan what they had experienced before.

Zu Shan even gritted his teeth in anger at this moment. He also recalled about Yi Yun's words that his brother had a Master who was much stronger than him and it turned out that it was not a mere boogey as it appeared that some of the Patriarchs of the powerful clans were unwilling to attack at all because I met that figure.

Before anyone spoke again, black portals appeared everywhere. The shock gets stronger over time.

In the sky, there were cracks that made all cultivators frightened as if they were seeing the end of a world.

“Will the apocalypse arrive?”

The weaker cultivators sweated and felt extremely desperate as they looked towards the sky. Things like this they've never seen before. Also, the matter of the black vortex appearing everywhere made them even more frightened because the black vortex looked like it was pulling anything into it.

“Liu-Li.. let's go to one of those portals!” yi Yun said in a fairly small voice as all the cultivators were focusing on looking towards the sky.

“What do you mean, Yun'er?” Ouyang Liu-Li asked with a frown on her face.

“It was the way back!” Reply Yi Yun.

“Are you sure?”

“Yes! Hurry along! Soon, this world will be destroyed!” yi Yun said in a very serious tone.

“Hei the inhabitants of the Green Star World! Get into that portal if you still want to get out in the same place! Everything in this world will be pulled to all portals!” Yi Yun shouted loudly which made the strong cultivators wake up from their daydreams staring towards the sky.

“Fucking boy! Where do you want to go!” Shouted Zu Shan getting angrier.

“Senior Zu Shan, this is not the time to take care of that brat! Let's get out of this place because it seems like this world is going to collapse and that's the way out! Look, everything that's been seen being pulled into that black hole! If what the boy said was true, then if we enter together in one of the black vortexes, we will land in the same place!” Song Feng gave a suggestion with a dark face while looking at Yi Yun who had drifted away along with Ouyang Liu-Li in great anger.

Zu Shan gnashed his teeth firmly. He disappeared from that place to find his disciple Zu Lan. For he could not let his disciple be separated from him.

On the other hand, Ouyang Liu-Li also moved into one of the enormous black vortexes.

“Yun'er.. are you sure the portals that devour anything are the way out?” Ouyang Liu-Li asked doubtfully as he got closer to the portal.

“Did I ever make a wrong speculation?” Yi Yun asked unhappily.

“Basic fucking boy! If we don't get out of this place and die instead, I'll hunt you down in hell though!” Ouyang Liu-Li shouted furiously and directly broke through towards the portal at a very high speed as there was a suction force as well.

Yi Yun was silent. He did not know where they would land. If only the System still worked at the moment, he could ask him to analyze in advance where they would come out.

Zhep!

Ouyang Liu-Li and Yi Yun entered the portal and exited the Green Star World.

Inside the portal, Ouyang Liu-Li looked over and over. His body was completely immobilized and stiff like the mud that had just hardened. His body continued to be sucked somewhere along with Yi Yun in his arms.

“This place is really beautiful.” Ouyang Liu-Li murmured as she gazed towards the ceiling which looked like a stretch of stars.

“You are really bad.” said Yi Yun because he felt it was not beautiful at all.

“You..” Before Ouyang Liu-Li finished his words, he was sucked into a certain hole along with Yi Yun.

Zhep!

A glare of light covered their vision both. When they opened their eyes, they fell from a very high place.

Zhong!

“Where is this?” Ouyang Liu-Li asked in astonishment as she stared at the unfamiliar place.

“Don't just shut up Liu-Li, do you want us to turn into meat paste when landing?” Yi Yun shouted as he looked at the approaching surface of the ground.

Ouyang Liu-Li's eardrum was about to break due to Yi Yun's scream. He slowly floated in the air but could not. Then he turned his qi like before and he stopped in midair.

From that incident, Ouyang Liu-Li understood that they had returned to where they came from because they could already use qi as usual.
