CHAPTERS 103. GETTING ALONG

The next day, the two woke up early in a much better mood than the previous days. The Emir's cold attitude has not changed but that is not a problem for Arimbi. “What still hurts?” the Emir asked as he looked at Arimbi who was walking out of the bathroom with pursed lips.

“This is because of you!” he looked at the Emir who made the man laugh.

“Who teased me? I just proved to you that I'm normal.” reply.

“Hehe Arimbi chuckled then looked down embarrassed. ‘Oh shit right! Where should I go to work today. Hihihi.real Emir very extraordinary. Fortunately, he stopped, otherwise I could not walk anymore. Too cruel and savage!’ she whispered inwardly imagining their struggle last night.

Arimbi entered the walk in closet and chose the suit he would wear to the office today. While the Emir who had built first and prepared to just sit in his wheelchair noticed the movements of Arimbi.

There is little concern in his heart considering the incident last night, he is afraid that Arimbi still feels sick and he thinks Arimbi should postpone to enter work today and rest at home.

But when he saw how enthusiastic Arimbi this morning wanted to go to work, the Emir just pursed his lips and said nothing. He felt his mood this morning was very good and his smiling face looked at Arimbi who was choosing clothes. The Emir moved his wheelchair out of the room and headed downstairs to wait for Arimbi.

This was his first day working at his father's company. She chose a soft pink shirt paired with white pencil pants and a white blazer. Arimbi remembered the golden brooch that the Emir had given him, he took it and put it on the front of the blazer.

This suit is perfect for her with a blend of white and soft pink makes her look fresh and beautiful. His father's company has a special uniform for their employees, Arimbi should get a uniform as well as he officially became an employee there.

After she finished getting dressed she walked towards the dresser, she neatly patted her hair and applied her makeup in natural color makeup and polished her lips with a nude color lipstick.

Not to forget he perfected his appearance by wearing earrings and expensive watches given Emir. Then he took one of the expensive bag collections that had also been bought by Emir. Lastly he wore a stileto shoe and walked slowly towards the Emir.

His personality and his old job made him dislike shoes that high. But now he has to change completely to take his father's company from Amanda. Not only did he have to learn business but also completely change his appearance.

Arimbi is determined to do his best to take over everything that should be his and protect his parents. To be able to compete with Amanda, she has to work hard and she feels confident that Emir will definitely help her besides her father.

“Good Sir. Later I will ask the boutique to deliver it immediately.” replied Beni then rushed away.

Elisha and Arimbi have the same shoe size, the Emir knows it because he has investigated all about his wife. Elisha is the favorite daughter of the Serkan family, she has a large collection of shoes to the extent that she has a special storage room for shoes. Of the many shoes his collection must have never been used.

Because it is still too early and the boutique has not been opened so there is only one solution, ask for shoes from Elisha to wear Arimbi. The man realized after seeing the way Arimbi walked, that the woman was uncomfortable.

In the Emir's mind, maybe because his ferocity last night made his wife difficult to walk and the Emir did not want Arimbi to get in trouble because of that, so he wanted to change Arimbi's shoes.

Wearing high heels with Arimbi condition this morning must be uncomfortable for him. The Emir could not bear to see Arimbi's facial expression which despite smiling sweetly but he knew the woman still felt pain. “Why don't you just rest today?”

“Emir, I promised you I'd start working today. I don't want to break a promise and disappoint him. I'm fine, Emir.”

“What did you say? My fault? I warned you last night but you kept teasing me. Now even blame me?”

“Yes is. If you do not tease me back I am not tempted.” replied Arimbi pursed his lips, actually he felt very embarrassed considering his actions last night.

Emir glared at Arimbi, ‘Shameless basics! He who wouldn't let go of mine last night blamed me. Hehe...feel yourself! Who told to wake the sleeping lion.’ whispered in the heart while laughing. The Emir's facial expression looked happy and continued to look at Arimbi's face.

Before long Beni returned with a shoebox and thrust it on Arimbi. “The Lady is young, these are her shoes.”

He took the shoebox and opened it, a smile appeared on Arimbi's face when he saw the beautiful soft pink flat shoes that fit the color of his shirt. He immediately put it on and stood in circles in front of the Emir.

“How? My performance is already good, right, Emir?”

“Hem. Come breakfast, I will take you to the office.” said Emir. A bodyguard pushed his wheelchair towards the dining room. The couple started eating breakfast in silence but both looked smiling this morning.

Beni and the bodyguards who noticed something different from her master this morning looked at each other while raising their shoulders, wondering what was going on?
