Ghost Pavilion

Ghost Pavilion
Act Strange

Melin moved, to make Brian aware! next to him was bound tightly. Without lingering for long, Melin tried hard to open her eyes, after removing the duct tape from her mouth.

Frightened, the four men split the neck of the black chicken and surrounded its blood at Melin's feet! not without reason, the smell drifted and it was clear a large figure was behind the hotel employee, with burning eyes watching Melin and Brian, who were still fainting.

"What do you want? release us!"

“You City guys are weird! Just look, we who were born living on this Island alone, do not dare to approach the building. But you guys stayed over, new building nearby!” grumble the man.

“Ehem! Look, yeah, you know we don't carelessly stay here. Brian is my friend the rightful heir of the old owner of this hotel, so that means he's the owner of that building. Then why do you all dare to forbid us to stay there?!”

Instantly the man looked at me, wide-eyed. His strange reaction certainly made me even more astonished at him. Even now he started to show an attitude of enthusiasm but somehow he looked like he was terrified.

“Gosh! You are looking to die! Don't you know that the old pavilion has a curse? We just don't dare! As long as you know young people, the place is dominated by female ghosts who like to wander there. People say, he'll strangle you if you dare to approach the hotel's room number!”

Instantly Melin was denied after hearing the speech of the man who was not sane. Does he think I'm a five-year-old who would easily, he fools with just such a stupid and cheap story.

“Hei! I'm not kidding! Why are you laughing like that?!” his protest.

“Actually you are the strange one. You think I'll be scared after hearing that father's story? Even if the ghost does exist, what do I care about it? I am the owner of the Hotel so I am the ruler!” brian is aware.

“Basic stubbornness! Feel for yourself if something happens to you!”

For sure I was very hungry so I just took a loaf of bread from his basket and greedily ate it. And yes, don't ask because it's certain that man will start to get angry and blame me all out.

“Hei! That's my basic bread you're not polite! What in the City have you never learned manners?! You act like an ape!” the employee was upset after unbinding Melin and Brian's rope.

“Only a loaf of bread why do you take a headache?! I can even pay for your bread so dearly! Even I can also buy everything in your village!”

“Listen yes! Just save your money because here all that is not applicable at all!”

“Being arrogant! If you do not need money, then why wait for a logistics ship? What are you going to pay for it with?!” melin.

“You alone don't know! During this time we use barter system,”

Waw! Honestly, I was a little surprised by this strange man's words. Not because of anything, I just wonder in times like today there are even still humans who barter. Come to think of it, why should they serepot it? Wouldn't it be more efficient if they worked and made money?

But because the fierce man just kept glaring at me, with his sour face, then I was forced to offer barter also to replace the bread I ate. I'm not the kind of person who likes free stuff.

“Alright! I will change the bread I eat. Tell me what do you want me to give you, sir?!” melin grunted angrily trying to trick the criminal into not getting crushed tonight, as the old man spoke and acted strangely.
