Chapter 55 - Can Touch You

"Calm down, Shane. I won't hurt you" June said. He slowly approached.

Shane still can't believe it. He tries hard to avoid June.

"I must be dreaming!" Shane shook his head as he rubbed his eyes. Then I looked back at June. But nothing has changed. The handsome figure he saw remained visible.

"Shane, let's talk" June said. He finally chose to stay in place. Let Shane calm down first.

Shane trembling. It is hard to understand what he sees. Even so, Shane stood up while holding onto the closet that was behind him. The glasses man's attention was not diverted from June.

"You're really the June I've ever known?" ask Shane. He stood up and chose to stay away from June.

"Isn't it clear? Isn't our communication better?" June Response. "Let's sit down and talk about our problems" he asked as he sat down on the sofa first.

Shane was silent for a moment. He once again tested the reality he was facing. Shane pinches his own shoulder and can feel the pain clearly.

"Already, Shane. Isn't this clearly not a dream?" tease June who won't wait.

Shane finally sat down on the sofa. Somewhere far from June.

"Have you got anything related to your family's involvement and my accident?" ask June. He started serious talks.

"Yes, I found a guy named Wilson. Looks like he-"

"Know about the accident," guess June. Cut Shane's speech.

"Julie and I are going to see him in Canada tomorrow" Shane said.

"I'm coming! And make sure this time there will be no more so-called hijacking planes. You were lucky the other day I came with you" June said, folding her hands to her chest.

"So what did I do on that plane was you too?" Shane.

June replied with a nod. Now Shane's not surprised anymore. Especially after June continues to tell that the strange thing that Shane has done unknowingly lately is indeed her act.

Shane took a long breath. She had absolutely no problem with what June had done to her. Shane sees it as something he must pay for the Davison family's mistake.

"June... I'm sorry for my family's involvement in the accident that happened to you and Julie" Shane said.

June threw away face with a sour face. Honestly, he's sick of hearing Shane's apology. I don't know how many times the glasses guy said that. Shane's airy attitude makes June feel guilty.

"Because I've been able to see you, you can tell me what I have to do to perform the binding ritual" Shane said.

"Why?"

"Just according to Shane. You're paying for your family's mistakes, aren't you?" June frowned

Shane nodded. He seemed to put his two hands together.

"Okay, I'm gonna go see Julie. Rest." After saying so, June disappeared. He shows up to Julie's room.

It just so happens that it's late at night. Julie seemed to have fallen asleep.

June sat down to the edge of the bed. Looked at Julie with affection and longing.

"I'll make sure these two weeks won't go to waste. I promise." June held out one hand. Then touch Julie's flicked fingers. Ascertaining whether the potion he drank could really make him touch.

June's pupils dilated when her hands touched Julie's warm hands. He was so full himself. Really, there was nothing June wanted to do but touch the girl she loved.

"Julie's... I'll make sure you're happy." whispered June. He threw himself next to Julie. Look at the lover from there.

It doesn't feel like morning has arrived. Julie opened her eyes. He was wide-eyed when he saw the figure of June instantly welcoming.

"Ju-june's? Is it still twilight?" Julie looked at the window. He sits up straight. He felt the atmosphere felt like dusk. It feels cooler and fresher.

"It's morning" June said.

"Not funny." Julie won't believe it. This time he looked at the wall clock. The clock is pointing to the number seven.

Julie's confused. He must have felt strange. Because usually the twilight time is around 5 to six pm.

"Is the wall clock broken?" murmured Julie with a frowning forehead.

June chuckles. He's got Julie's face. This made Julie more surprised.

"You touched me? June! How come?" Julie doesn't believe it.

"It's a miracle, Julie. Believe it or not, now I will not turn into orange smoke again. I can even touch you!" obviously June.

"Why? How did that happen?" asked Julie who looked still amazed.

"I don't know. Now the thing I want most is to touch you" June said. Without a second thought, she hugged Julie.

"June.." lirih Julie who felt touched and amazed. He also shed tears. Julie immediately returned June's embrace.
