Getting Married to a Cruel Man

Getting Married to a Cruel Man
Brother's arrival

Mirza sat on the balcony sipping a cigarette. His heart continued to grope at the mistakes that had been made on Haira. His gaze pierced through the darkness to be able to enjoy the glitter of lights in the middle of the city. The star that was emitting light was describing his heart at this moment. Buried in an old wound while losing a loved one, and now finds a long-sought person.

His encounter with Haira opens a new chapter in his life. Mirza's seven years have only been overshadowed by guilt, and all of that is now fading. He promised to pay for all the sins he had committed.

As she was busy struggling with her brain, suddenly the black shadow from behind made Mirza surprised. He looked directly at the source.

"You're here?" Haira's hoarse voice greeted gently. Her eyes still seemed puffy and reddened making Mirza restless, afraid that Haira would continue to drown in sadness.

"Are you awake?" ask Mirza back. He led Haira and sat on her lap.

"I can't sleep without Kemal." Haira leaned her head on the chest of Mirza's field. Grunts his nose right in the man's mouth.

"You smoking?" asked Haira looking at the blue-eyed bead that looked sad. Then take the wrapper that was on the table. There are two cigarette butts in the ashtray. That means Mirza spent two sticks during her sleep.

"Rarely, if it's stress."

Mirza hugged Haira's body and kissed her shoulder. After he had heard the grievance of the wife, now his turn who wanted to pour his heart all this time.

"Seven years I've been looking for you. Ever since you left home, my life has been empty. The house is very quiet. I cry every time I come into your room. I am so stupid and ungrateful to marry you. I'm too naive to admit how I feel about you."

Haira clasped Mirza's coiled hand on her stomach.

"Do you want to listen when Miss Lunara gets hit?"

"No," Mirza replied quickly.

Not even a little want to bring up events that have been a long time. For him right now it was only Haira and Kemal. The most important people in his life.

"But you have to listen, at least know why he got hit."

Haira put her lips close to Mirza's neck. Smelling perfume mixed with cigarette smoke that is still attached from the breath of the husband.

"All right, I'll listen to him. But if you can't, don't force it"

Mirza took a sip of water that stayed a little. One hand did not escape from Haira's body.

"That night it seemed like Miss Lunara had deliberately crashed herself."

You mean what? That was what Mirza wanted to launch, but her voice was held back until the man only frowned. He did not want to remember the past that now brought him to Haira.

"She deliberately stood on the highway while crying. At that time I could not turn my bike because on the left there was a large truck, while on the right there was a ravine. I screamed for him to step aside, but he ran towards me before I brake."

Haira again sobbed in Mirza's arms.

"Sir papa, honey. No papa, this is all a disaster. Death is inevitable, only the path is different. Don't keep feeling guilty. I believe you can't intentionally harm people."

"But you have to believe that I accidentally bumped into her. He's the one who wanted to kill himself." Haira repeated it again.

Mirza clenched Haira's trembling body. Calm the woman to not remember the past anymore.

"Me and Lunara are not a match. Man can only plan, but God wills. Maybe our meeting was wrong, but I promise to be a good husband to you and a good Daddy to Kemal. We'll live with our little family."

"Are you sure you don't take revenge on me anymore?"

"No, the grudge was actually gone after I asked for my rights by force, but I was privileged to admit it. Shame on you who managed to make me fall in love," said Mirza who made Haira chuckle.

"Where are the?" tanya Haira recalled her invisible son.

"He slept in Aslan's room. Tonight we'll sleep alone."

After returning home from the mine, Mirza accidentally tells Erkan and Aslan to look after her son. Given the state of Haira who is still very chaotic. He didn't want his son to see his mommy cry.

Mirza laid her body down. Pulling Haira to stay beside him. They were snuggled up on the balcony couch. The air that is getting colder is not a barrier for both of them to sleep.

...ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ...

"There's snail Za, get up!"

Even though the voice sounded real, Mirza still brushed it off and considered it just a dream. He buried his face in the hair of Haira who was still asleep in his arms. No matter her hands were almost numb, Mirza still did not want to move the head of the wife who was still supporting her arms.

"If you don't want to get up, I'll put a snail on your leg." A threat Mirza couldn't ignore. Her fine fur was goosebumps hearing the disgusting animal's name.

Uh, it's like it's real, but I'm in Indonesia, there's no way Deniz's coming here, lest it's Aslan.

Feeling disturbed, Mirza opened her eyes slowly. A familiar face was smiling in front of him.

"Sir Nita, Brother Deniz." Greet with a soft voice. Putting his index finger on his lips. He beckoned his two brothers not to speak out loud.

"I waited in the next room, and told me everything you did to this woman" said Nita Ketus. Looking at Haira's pretty face.

"Well, sister," replied Mirza quietly.

After her brother's two backs disappeared, Mirza gently rubbed Haira's still very calm hands.

"It's good to wake up, it's morning" said Mirza softly. Tidying up Haira's hair that covers the cheeks. Although the place was cramped, Mirza still felt comfortable being near loved ones.

Haira changed her position. Conscious of Mirza's body at her side. He woke up first.

"We slept here all night?" haira asked, rubbing her eyes. Returns his scattered life.

Help Mirza sit down and massage the man's hands.

"It must be cramping, I'm sorry." Feeling guilty for using Mirza's hand as a pillow for a long time.

"No papa, now that we take a shower first, I'll introduce you to someone" said Mirza grabbing Haira's hand and inviting her in.

"Who?" haira asked curiously, following Mirza's steps towards the bathroom.

"Later you know, she's my family, too" Mirza replied, helping Haira tie her hair and grab a towel.

Does Mirza have a family other than Arini?

Haira could only guess who Mirza meant.

What if they also take revenge on me for Lunara's death?
