43. Nauseous

"Mommy...?" murmured Nervan who saw her Mommy had just come out of the guest room using crutches.

"Van's? you're here? and that scream?" ask Mami full of questions.

"Hem... It's Mih, Evan came in with a sneak. That was Evan yelled at by Mbok Mah. Sorry Mih, this night Evan has made a scene at Mami's house."

"What's up, son?" Mami approached Nervan slowly.

"Evan misses Evan's wife, Mih!" answer honestly Nervan with tears in his eyes.

"Cysa's sick. It's been two days of fever, Mami took him to sleep in the guest room, so he can accompany him." said Mami Nervan.

"Cysa is sick Mih? why not just go to the hospital?" asked Nervan with a worried face.

"Besides Cysa refused. Mommy is also waiting for Papi to come home. He went out of town three days ago. Papi will decide everything" replied Mami.

"Can Evan meet Cysa, Mih?" asked Nervan hesitantly.

"Please Nak! Mami let you accompany Cysa tonight. He fell asleep because of the influence of drugs. May his condition improve tomorrow." Mami.

"Thank you Mih! thank you." thank you, thank you." Nervan hugged his mother happily. The pain all over his body was no longer felt, treated by happiness.

"Here, you better treat your wounds first." Mami looked at Nervan with pity.

"Later Mih, washed with warm water" said Nervan.

"Don't you mess with Cysa, Van! the responsibility is on Mami. Actually your Papi hasn't allowed you to meet Cysa before his parents return from abroad. Nak Zafier has also placed full responsibility on Papi for Crystal." explained Mami.

"No Mih. Evan promises, Evan just wants to hug Cysa. Because as Evan knows, every time Cysa has a fever, she needs a hug." she replies.

"Alright, Mami's been trying to hug him. However, it seems like Mami's embrace is less comfortable for her. Maybe he needs you." Mami said.

Finally, Nervan bailed his mother and entered the guest room. "Darling.it's me." Nervan squatted right on the side of the bed that Crystal was sleeping on.

Crystal's face looked pale. Right now his face was a little bit thinner than a few days ago when he saw it.

Nervan stroked the Crystal cheek gently. Then he kissed Crystal's forehead with a circle of tears that successfully fell because it could not be held back

"Dear I'm sorry Please!" lirih Nervan's. "Don't hurt, I don't want to see you suffer" she said subtly, whispering in Crystal's ear that was sleeping on her side.

"Crystal wriggled quietly to and fro, still with her eyes closed. He seems to be looking for a comfortable position. When lying on his back, Nervan's hand stroking Crystal's cheek automatically carried over to the moving Crystal.

Nervan intended to take the hand off but, apparently Crystal's hand subconsciously, caught Nervan's hand.

Finally Nervan fell on the side of the bed, almost overstimulating Crystal's body but, he immediately held it back. Nervan automatically hugged Crystal's body. Carrying the frail body in his warm embrace. Crystal's body temperature felt warmer above normal.

Nervan finds a comfortable position by joining Crystal in bed. Lie on the side of Crystal in one blanket. Now Crystal seems calm in Nervan's warm embrace.

"Darling! I will never leave you. Then never think of leaving me. Sorry!" whispered Nervan with her soft voice.

Crystal seems to tighten her embrace on Nervan. Crystal's body temperature gradually normalized after several times Nervan gently kissed Crystal's forehead. Nervan's tears also fell.

Tonight they sleep in the same bed and blanket, after a month apart. Crystal looks good in Nervan's arms. Nervan, by morning he fell asleep without letting go of his embrace.

Next morning.

"Hum..." Nervan wriggled softly as the birdsong began to sound. "Huffs. Cysa! Thank God his body temperature has returned to normal." Inner Nervan after checking it.

The digital clock in the room shows at five o'clock past twenty in the morning. There is still dawn, Nervan thought. After he slowly slipped back into Crystal's forehead, Nervan slowly climbed out of bed, worried Crystal would have interrupted his sleep. Nervan rushed to his room. Taking ablution and Fajr Salat without bathing because it is bad luck.

"Van!"

Nervan turned to the source of the sound, just as the door handle had been pulled. "Mih! sorry Evan didn't say goodbye. Was in a hurry, afraid that Cysa knew Evan was here."

"Heemm, it's okay. Mami just wants you to bring provisions for your breakfast" said Mami.

"Thank you Mih." Nervan approaches Mami who is now sitting in a wheelchair with a Tupperware container on her lap.

"This is a chicken rendang village. Two days ago, before the fever, Cysa cooked it. And she cried when she ate, she said remember you. This is your favorite food. So this morning Mbok Mah warmed it up for you."

Nervan smiles. "Evan will spend it later. Now Evan says goodbye." said Nervan.

"Sure!"

"O yeah, Mami help Evan?" ask Nervan.

"What can you help me with?"

"Let Evan come here every night. In a way to settle, it's okay." pinta Nervan with a vibrating tone of voice, resisting the crying.

Mom seemed to think for a moment. Nervan is his son. Mami's maternal instincts give nods and smiles as a sign of allowing.

"Thank you Mih...Mamih is the best. Mom just calm down. All the risks Evan would face, including dealing with Papi's wrath." Nervan rested on the floor, hugging his mother in tears.

"Home home! as bad as the child Mami, will never melt Mami's affection for you. You remain Evan Mami, the good who is unpretentious, full of responsibility. Mami is sure your good nature will never turn into a demon. You are only Khilaf. Mami knew Van, Mami knew that." Mami's voice shook, as if she was holding back a cry.

Nervan is getting more and more excited. Laying his head on Mami's lap at least now he was a little more relieved, the Mami still wanted to support him.

After a few minutes of Nervan crying in Mami's lap finally subsided, Mami's gentle caress in her head made Nervan much calmer, she so felt treasured by Mami's affection.

"Evan said goodbye to Mih." said Nervan after standing up and carrying a Tupperware box for his lunch.

Mami nodded with a smile "Go, be careful! stay up, don't despair. Remember that! at this time the condition of your household may be in a bad state, but Mami is sure, your love will be able to reunite your household intact." said Mami.

Nervan nodded and smiled, then kissed both cheeks and after saying hello. Nervan went out of the house with a step more spirit.

On the doorstep of the guest room, Crystal witnesses Mami's interaction with Nervan. She was crying there too. It's just that Crystal hasn't been willing to meet directly with Nervan.

Even when Nervan woke up, Crystal remembered. Because he really is awake. However, Crystal lets Nervan think that he does not know if Nervan last night, accompanying him to sleep.

Mami knew Crystal was standing there. "Boyle! how are you doing?" mami asked as she approached Crystal by running her wheelchair.

"For Mih, Cysa is good Alhamdulillah.it turns out to be true said Mami. This kid wants to sleep in his arms" Crystal said with a smile. Seraya stroked her flat stomach gently.

"It's darling! don't deny Evan's presence. pretend you don't know, if he comes every night to see you." ask Mami.

"Of course not Mih. It's just that Cysa still can't interact directly with him, let time warm us up again" Crystal said by pushing Mami's wheelchair towards the back garden.

Mami Nervan only touched Crystal's hand, gently as a sign of support for her.

Yesterday, when the doctor examined Crystal for her condition which is often nausea and also sometimes fever, the doctor said if Crystal was pregnant and when tested using a test and presented obgyn doctors with Mami's acquaintance. It turns out that Crystal is pregnant with two weeks of gestation.

happy news for Crystal and Mommy. Papi Nervan has also been called by Mami, that Crystal is currently pregnant with their grandchild.
