Episode 26: Pura-Pura Gak Kak
“So here papa company office,” thought Ethan when finally arrived at NamTech office. Ethan looked at the office building which seemed to have many floors from inside his car before he finally got out and walked into the office.
In front of the office, there was a man wearing a security guard standing, when he saw Ethan who was about to enter the office, he gave his greetings
“Good morning, Pak” greet the office security guard who is in front of the office with a friendly smile..
“Good morning, sir,” reply Ethan while smiling nodding and stepping foot into the office.
The receptionist stood up from his seat when he saw someone wearing a suit entering the office, from his experience of how many years as a receptionist could tell that the person was an important person.
“Good morning, sir,” he said with a smile.
“Good morning,” reply Ethan with a smile and walk straight towards the elevator. His father said his room was on the 6th floor. He pushed both elevator buttons there but it seemed like both of them were heading upstairs.
While waiting, Ethan decides to look around the area and his gaze falls on a woman wearing a college alma mater.
“Isn't she the woman in Bali?” thought Ethan remembered the woman's face. Ethan then decides to approach her.
“He seems to be busy, huh. Don't you, huh? If you talk, what do you want to talk about? Oh yes, the necklace is still there for me,” thought Ethan after a while just standing still near Carolina who was busy with his cellphone screen.
“Excuse me..” greet Ethan while holding Carolina's shoulder.
“Yes,” answered Carolina then turned to Ethan.
Ethan could see Carolina startled before he finally put his previous facial expression back on.
“He knows me,” thought Ethan while smiling happily because the woman still remembers him.
“What's up?” ask Carolina.
“What have we ever met?” ethan asked who was suddenly curious about Carolina's answer. Since observing Carolina at a hotel restaurant in Bali, Ethan can conclude that Carolina wants to keep the image and likes to pretend.
“Sorry, it looks like one person,” Carolina replied with a smile. Ethan immediately realized the smile. It was a fake smile that he often wore.
“Wah, the story he wants to pretend not to know me, yes?” thought Ethan was getting interested in that woman.
“Pak Ethan!” Ethan was just about to continue his words, but suddenly a familiar voice sounded from behind him. Ethan then turned around and saw Agung standing behind him.
Since knowing Ethan can speak Indonesian, Agung has not used English anymore and greeted Ethan with Indonesian
Ethan finally decides to let Carolina go first, he can ask Agung later to find out Carolina's identity.
“Halo,” greet Ethan finally and walk along Agung towards the elevator.

“Woahh,” Ethan becomes amazed once he arrives on the 6th floor, where his office is located. On that floor the interior design was white and there were several sofas that seemed to be waiting rooms in the middle of the room.
Ethan can also see there are only two doors on the floor, the other door reads Toilet while the other reads CEO room.
Right in front of the door that read the CEO's room, there was a tall table like a reception desk. Ethan immediately assumes it's Agung's desk, their office secretary.
When he realizes that Agung is staring at him, Ethan tries to calm down. He is currently a CEO! He is also embarrassed if he looks “kampungan” in front of Agung because he has never seen a room as good as it is.
“Ehem, that's my room, huh?” ask Ethan to come back looking authoritative.
“Ya, sir. My place. If there is anything, you can call me through the intercom,” said Agung then walked to his desk and started busying himself.
Ethan no longer wants to disturb Agung and immediately enters his office.
“Woah... The room is bigger than the room of director Ha Joon,” Ethan said when he saw the room that has a small living room, toilet, work table.
The first thing Ethan did was check the toilet inside.
“Woah... “ Ethan did not stop amazed when he saw the toilet that also has a shower in it.
“There is also a bidet, the boss toilet is different!” he said amazed then tried to occupy the sofa that became the living room in it.
“Wow, the sofa is softer than the room director Ha Joon,” muttered Ethan again then walked closer to the big glass to see the view of the city in front of him.
“It seems that if the afternoon can see the sun sinking from here,” muttered Ethan again.
After being satisfied to see the scene, Ethan finally sat in the director's chair made of leather and took out the documents Agung had prepared beforehand from his bag.
“What's up, sir?”
“Please hold a meeting with the deputy directors in 30 minutes,” said Ethan then immediately turned off his phone connection after getting an answer from Agung.

“Good morning, everyone,” greet Ethan when entering the meeting room. There were already 5 people in the room.
“What is all this?” ethan asked the Great who accompanied him.
“Iya, sir,” said Agung who stood behind him.
Ethan then looked at the five people who were there consisting of 3 men, and 2 women. The five people were clearly older than him, given their position of being directors.
“Include earlier, I am Ethan Nam, the youngest son of the Nam family. You can call me Ethan. I am here to replace Wang's mother who was the previous CEO temporarily because her health condition is not possible,” said Ethan introduced himself first then told the others to introduce themselves.
Ethan eventually learns that the five deputy directors are the deputy directors of technology, finance, marketing, operations and sales.
“Remember,” said Ethan who like giving a code. The great who understood instantly handed over the paper that was being held by him.
“Please see the paper given by Agung,” said Ethan. The five men then read the paper.
“I don't know if Wang's mother and Nam sir have realized or discussed with you but our company's profit over the past four months looks the same at first glance, but it seems to be slowly starting to decrease from 0.2, 0.3, and 0.5. I'm afraid next month our company's profit will be reduced to 1%” Ethan told those who read the paper.
“For that, I call you guys to give a business proposal in three days. The goal is to increase the profit for the next three months for 5%,” Ethan said with a smile because he seemed to look authoritative despite his age under the five other vice directors.
“Hmm.. sorry Mr. Ethan,” a woman who is the deputy director of sales raised her hand.

“It looks like three days is too much,” said the woman who was then directly approved by the others.
Ethan fell silent and tried to think for a while, “what is it that is too much, huh?”
“Okay then in 5 days. So it means Friday of the week. I want market research, development strategies, and precautions for our competitors. You do not need to print the report and send it in the form of a file to Agung,” Ethan said while looking at them.
“There are questions?” ethan adds when they just stay quiet and look at each other. At first they thought at least their new ceo would give time for 2 or at least 1 week. But it turns out their leader only made it 5 days!
If they want to complain again, they are afraid they are mistaken for slackers! So inevitably they just keep quiet and do not want to express their thoughts again.
Ethan who saw the suddenly cold atmosphere of the room and the expression of the others became strange, added, “if I am satisfied, I will add your bonus in this running quarter,”
Ethan's words instantly made the five people smile again.
“If no more questions, please get back to work!” ethan said then out first from the meeting room followed by Agung.
After Ethan came out, the five men started their own “rapat”.

“I still want Elena's mother to lead us, Ethan sir seems too young.”
