Season 2: Jane and Danny

On the other side.

Jane walks in the dark of the night. She has been working as a model for a week. He only took the job for a while because his stomach could not be hidden forever. Her pregnancy is not yet visible.

When his steps stayed a little longer to reach the apartment building he got the sound of a horn from behind. The blaster girl stopped her steps and turned around.

A black BMW stopped, and saw a tall young man coming out of the car. The boy walked towards Jane.

"Miss, Jane?" ask the young man politely.

"Yes. Who, huh?" I see the confused look of Jane. How could the young man know his name? He had never even met that tall-looking young man.

"I'm Gionino Lazuardy. Ben's brother."

Jane was shocked to learn who the young man was. "What do you need, huh?"

"Sorry, can we chat in a more comfortable place?" gionino said carefully.

Jane stared probing at Gionino. What's Ben's brother really doing? He has nothing to do with Ben.

"Why don't you just talk here" Jane said as she had to be wary of the man in front of her. Who knows if Gionino has not lost to Ben.

"I find it impolite to talk to a girl on the side of the road" explained Gionino with a solemn expression.

"Where are you talking?" jane asked after seeing Gionino's expression.

Gionino did not reply, the young man's gaze falling on someone walking towards him and Jane. There was a look of surprise from the young man.

"What's wrong?" ask Danny who knows he's next to Jane.

Jane was stunned to see the young man who had helped her a lot lately. His relationship with Danny is closer than ever.

"You're not the heir to the Lazuardy family? What's the matter with Jane?" danny continued in a hostile tone. Danny has a grudge against the Lazuardy family.

The family that had made her sister die.

"You?"

"You know me?" Danny frowned because of Gionino's response.

"Ah, no," Gionino replied as if hiding something.

Danny raised his eyebrows staring at the strange Gionino.

"I just want to talk to, Miss Jane," Gionino continued.

"What talk?"

"Ah that..."

"We'd better find a place" Jane said, cutting Gionino's words. "I'll be with my friend, do you mind?"

Jane thinks she should take Danny in case Gionino will do him any harm. Danny is pretty reliable about it.

"All right, let's go, let's go, please" said Gionino. Although there was a sense of anxiety in his heart when he saw Danny.

"Let's get in my car, we follow him from behind" said Danny pulling Jane toward his parked car not far from it.

In the BMW that Gionino was riding in.

"Hans, do you know if Danny's close to Miss Jane?" gionino asked Hans who was driving.

"I don't know, sir," Hans replied as he was.

"How did this happen? Danny he is the younger brother of Ben's mother, but he is close to the woman who is carrying Ben's child" Gionino said, saying the reality was hidden so neatly for a long time.

"Maybe they're just friends, sir," Hans speculated.

At the restaurant where Jane, Danny, and Gionino gather.

"Before apologizing for disturbing," said Gionino, who opened the conversation.

"Yes, it's okay" Jane replied half-heartedly. To be honest, he was disturbed. Her rest time was wasted, not why-why he was only worried about the condition of her pregnancy because since the morning she was too busy working.

"No need" said Jane, clenching her hand. "I'll fund this kid myself. You don't have to interfere and worry about it. I'm not begging for accountability from Ben at all."

"But, miss—"

"You didn't hear? Jane doesn't need the Lazuardy family's mercy" said Danny, cutting off Gionino's words. "I'm the one who will marry Jane."

Gionino and Jane are shocked by Danny's words.

"Danny lo.." said Jane clenched, her tongue suddenly groaned. Is Danny serious? That young man is going to marry a pregnant woman like her?

"I'm sorry, but" Danny said and pulled Jane up and left the restaurant.

In front of Jane's apartment.

"Gue was serious about what I said earlier" said Danny after they had been quiet.

"But why? Do you like me?" jane asked staring right at the black bead behind Danny's glasses.

"It's not like that, I just don't want you to be the same fate as my older sister" said Danny, who made Jane's heart pinched.

"So you just feel sorry for me?" lirih Jane by squeezing her tote bag.

"It's not like that either, you're a strong girl. In which way does that make me compassionate?" deny Danny.

Jane took a heavy breath. "Gue doesn't want to marry you."

"Why? Wouldn't it be better if I protected you? Don't you have no one else? I'm willing to be the leaning place for you, Jane," said Danny with a serious expression.

"No. We don't love each other, Danny. You just make me as a place to redeem your guilt against your sister."

Danny remained silent. What Jane said was not entirely wrong. When she saw Jane she always remembered her brother.

"Compose your intention. I'll go in first."

Jane walks into her apartment room leaving Danny with complicated feelings.
