CH. 223 - RAYNA'S TRAUMA

“Rey, are you awake? I've prepared tea and sandwiches for you.” said Rayna seeing Reyna come out of the room.

“Thank you Ray. Have you seen Ren?” ask Reyna.

“No. Wh why? Is Ren not in the room?” ask Rayna.

“Yes. If you hadn't seen her, she would have left.” Reyna said casually.

“Rey, do you know Mr Riku? Why do I feel like you've always been cold and indifferent to her?” ask Rayna.

“Why are you asking all of a sudden?” reyna asks to hear Rayna ask suddenly about Riku.

“I'm just curious. What else I see you don't seem to be afraid of him even if you're angry or indifferent to him.” said Rayna.

Reyna smiled at Rayna's words. Reyna is actually angry and indifferent to Riku for some reason.

Actually Reyna also does not want to be angry at Riku, but because what he has done to her is too outrageous because it is not just because Riku locked her in the house, but Riku also did not feed her for 2 whole days, even in that house there was no one, and Reyna was alone at home.

How could Reyna not be angry at Riku not feeding her even leaving her alone at home. It was still good at home there were still groceries, so Reyna could still eat, otherwise Reyna would have been suffocated and passed out from starvation.

Reyna didn't want to say this to Rayna just yet, because if she said it she wouldn't believe it either.

“Because I know him Ray. Riku was always like that if anyone was already friends with him. What else He knows why I'm mad at him.” Reyna said.

“What did he do to you until you got angry and didn't want to forgive him?” rayna asked curiously

Rayna is curious because it is the first time Rayna sees Reyna angry with someone and does not want to forgive him even though Riku has forgiven him.

“Even if I tell you Ray, you will definitely not believe.” Reyna said with a smile.

“Already. Don't talk about him anymore. I want to say something to you.” Reyna said.

“What?” ask Rayna.

“Actually another 2 months vacation I want to go home. Do you want to come with me?” ask Reyna.

“Go home? Mean what? Isn't our home here?” rayna asked confusedly.

“Go home Ray. Go home to our parents. I live in this city because I am studying in this city.” Reyna said.

“So you mean is...”.

“Yes. We're going home to where our parents are.”

Rayna immediately fell silent to Reyna's words. Suddenly a lot of thoughts inside Rayna's head.

Are his parents still alive? Would her parents accept her as their daughter? Do they believe their daughter is still alive?

Somehow Rayna suddenly fell silent and began to tremble, her hand that held a glass immediately fell.

Reyna looked at Rayna like she was terrified and trembled right at Rayna.

“Why Ray? Why are you scared?” tanya Reyna held Rayna's trembling hand and calmed Rayna down.

Rayna did not answer and was even more trembling and frightened. Reyna sees Rayna's fear does not stop just hugging and calm Rayna by stroking Rayna's back slowly and gently.

“It's okay Ray. Don't be afraid, I'm here with you.” said Reyna gently soothing Rayna.

After a few minutes Rayna calmed down and did not tremble again as Reyna calmed her down.

“What's quiet?” reyna asked gently clenching Rayna's sweat with her hands.

“Hum...” Rayna just cleared her throat and nodded.

“Are you afraid to meet our parents?” ask Reyna slowly.

Rayna did not answer and just nodded her head slowly. Because Rayna had a trauma with Calvin's parents, what's more with Calvin's stepmom. Mama Stephanie Calvin always forced and hit Rayna hard, even to hit Rayna if Rayna made the slightest mistake.

Rayna had accidentally dropped a ceramic plate and fortunately the plate did not break and only scratched a little because Rayna quickly took it even though her hand was slightly injured.

Mama Stephanie Calvin finds out that Rayna has broken her plate, slaps and hits Rayna's hand with a rattan and does not care about Rayna who is still pregnant.

Calvin didn't know about this for 6 more months because Calvin was always working and thought that his mother wouldn't do that to Rayna. When Calvin finds out, he is angry at his mother and decides to leave the house and live with Rayna.

Because Calvin could not stand the behavior of his mother to Rayna, so decided to leave the house, rather than Rayna always got angry and hit by her mother, what else Rayna was pregnant with her child. It is impossible for Calvin to allow his mother to torture Rayna at home constantly, as this traumatizes Rayna and fears meeting other people.

“Are you afraid that our parents won't accept you?” ask Reyna.

Rayna did not answer even turning her face aside.

“It's okay Ray. I'm sure Papa and Mama will accept you. Do you know if they have another daughter, they'll be happy. What's more they will definitely be even happier because they already have 2 cute grandchildren.” Reyna said with a gentle smile to not scare Rayna.

“A-What are you yes.. sure Rey?” rayna asked with trembling and disjointedness.

“Of course. You're going home with me. I'm sure Papa and Mama will be happy with your presence.” Reyna said with a smile holding Rayna's hands tightly.

After Rayna saw Reyna's eyes there was no lie just nodded. Reyna immediately helps Rayna stand up and sit on the chair until Rayna calms down.

“I'll prepare a hot drink for you.” said Reyna directly to the kitchen making warm honey milk for Rayna.

Rayna just nodded and sat down on the chair to calm herself down. After Rayna prepares honey milk for Rayna and loves Rayna. Rayna drank it slowly.

“I'll wake the others first. I just sat down and calmed your head.” said Reyna finished speaking directly to Calvin's room and woke Calvin, Rachel and Richie.

“Morning Ray. You're up.” said Calvin who was just woken by Reyna and out of the room immediately saw Rayna sitting in a chair.

“Morning.” said Rayna with a rather forced smile.

“Did something happen Ray? Why do I see you seem to sweat so much?” calvin asked to see Rayna sweating so much on her face.

“It's okay, brother. I'm just exhausted.” said Rayna slowly.

“Really?” calvin asked in disbelief. Rayna just nodded her head.

“Good. If you are exhausted, do not force it. You just rest in the room, don't force yourself to make breakfast for us.” Calvin said gently.

“Iya brother. After I delivered the new kids a break.” said Rayna.

“Let me drive the kids. After you eat, go to bed rest in the room. I don't want you to get sick for making breakfast for us. Can't argue yes.” Calvin said firmly.

Rayna could only obey Calvin. Rayna after drinking milk straight to the bedroom.

Calvin and the others ate their breakfast and went to work. Rachel and Richie are escorted by Calvin after it's new to the company.
