From Friend to Love

Prolog ANINDITA

My name is Anandita, I'm 25 now. Now I am completing my education in the field of health by taking the Ners Profession at one of the Universities in Jakarta. I am the only child of Papa who is a TNI-AD Soldier and My Mom is a Housewife (PERSIT).

I'm a regional student from Ambon and not just me. There were some of my college friends from one of the same Colleges in Ambon who also studied and majored in the same as me.

I grew up in a big TNI family and was taught hard. It made me grow up to be a rather tomboyish and hard girl also not crybaby (but sometimes whiny too anyway, if again the same family. Especially my mom and dad).

I used to live with Opa and Oma and my mama. Because Papa who has to go-go duty out Ambon with his duty as a TNI-AD Soldier. And mama is always busy with activities Persit so there is no time to take care of me (Yes, yes, my mother was the manager of the Persit branch at that time when we were still living in one of the Army dormitories in the city of Ambon).

I've always been spoiled by Opa, Oma too mami. From childhood I never got used to work. My job is just to study, study and if there's time I'll go out playing with my peers. I am a home child and rarely hang out and play outside the house.

Opa, Oma also mami often pamper me but they are very firm and disciplined. I can't play with people, I can't play dirty, I have to stay home. All my needs and desires are always fulfilled (although sometimes I have to mourn first said mami).

My mom is the one who understands me the most. My mom is more than just my mom. Mommy is my friend, friend and confiding place. Maybe because I grew up with my mom. And maybe because my age with my mother is only 9 years adrift (My mother and my mother are 12 years adrift, my mother is the youngest child and my mother married at the young age of 22 years). So you can come in and understand my world.

From my mom, I learned to be a girl who can boast of a family. My mother always understood me in disappointing moments. Mami had to fight with mama and aunt to defend my truth. Because my mom knows my life and my heart better than my mom who gave birth to me.

I have fallen because of the attitude of those closest to me. I was desperate and wanted to finish my education. But Oma and mam also papi (husband mami) still give me the spirit and love that makes me strong and eager to continue my education.

I am the covenant to the mother of the late Opa. Mami has to take care of me and take care of me, mami has to stay with me, the late Opa promised.
