FRIENDSTHAT

FRIENDSTHAT
Episode 5's

“Never knew that he was my soul mate. I never thought he would be able to accompany me for the rest of my life. But I'm sure you're my best life friend.”

September 2004

Ditto was still working on the Math problem given as PR by his teacher earlier in the class. The break bell hasn't rung yet, but most of her classmates have run to the cafeteria because their teachers are out of class faster than usual. While counting on a scribble paper, Ditto's memory goes back to a while ago, when Ayu tells him that she already has a new boyfriend.

“B band boys too, but from another school anyway,” said Ayu at that time while they were hanging out in the cafeteria after school. Coincidentally that day Ayu was on break filming.

“Kok can other school children?”

“Benowned me, the Fina. Know right?”

Ditto at a glance remembers with her name Fina, if not wrong she is Ayu's classmate, who managed to get close enough to her without fear of Ayu who is like such a thug.

“May be more durable than Bobby deh,” said Ditto who was immediately followed by Ayu. Although Ditto always say the prayer “hopefully durable”, but he never really mean when saying that.

“Ditto!”

The scream was real, not from the memories that had been played in his mind. Ditto looked up, finding Ayu who was now walking into her class.

“Cantine yuk!” bring him. Then he saw Ditto's books scattered on the table. “Trajin by tumben.”

Ditto was grunting as usual. He put a pencil and closed the book. “Yuk.”

While walking towards the canteen, Ayu hit Ditto's upper arm until the guy turned his head in annoyance. “Anaan anyway, Cha?”

“Lo apain si Milla anyway?”

“Lha?” Ditto's face turned confused when she heard Ayu's question. “I am nothing, crazy.”

“Kalo lo emang deket, it has been made aja,” said Ayu when remembered Milla curhatan. Not once did the girl confide in him. And for a long time he was anxious himself with Ditto. “He's venting long times the same width as me. If you don't want to be with him, say no. If lo pepet keeps his son, how does his son not ngarep be the same lo?”

Ditto scratched his head that wasn't really itchy.

Oh, my God, what the hell did that girl tell Ayu?

“Yes already, while I talk to him,” replied Ditto, only that in the meantime he can say until later he met with Milla.

On the other hand, Ayu nodded in satisfaction. Hopefully after this Milla does not cook him with a very long cursive as long as he waits for the vehicle to go home. After all, Milla is the type of girl Ditto tastes like all this time, so surely they will be suitable if they are really dating.

It turned out that the occupants of class 1-4 had disbanded, left some people who were carrying out pickets and a group of girls who were sitting in the classroom corridor while laughing. And Milla was one of them.

“Mill, I need to say the same lo,” said Ditto without further ado to Milla who immediately turned her head when Ditto was in front of her.

The girl stood up, patted the back of her skirt to remove the dust, then nodded enthusiastically. “Bby.”

The two walked away from class 1-4, towards the quiet edge of the field because the field user was—ekskul futsal— during the training holiday today.

Milla smiled to herself as she faintly heard the teasing of her friends who were still in their original positions.

“What's up, Brother Ditto?” he asked while twisting the ends of his hair.

“Lo by the way is the same Ayu?” ask Ditto to the point. “Ngapain anyway all the same Ayu.”

“I don't talk about the macem-macem kok.”

“Continue confiding to Ayu everything?”

“Kan Kak Ayu his best friend Kak Ditto. Is it wrong if I confide in him?”

Ditto clucked in annoyance. “Emang want lo what the hell?”

“Yes be with Sister Ditto,” replied Milla honestly even with a shy smile.

Jesus, Ditto muttered in his heart.

“Ya already, we made it aja.”

“Totally?”

Ditto nodded without notice. But it was not too confusing Milla because after Milla immediately jumped up with excitement and ran towards the crowd of her friends.

Only after Ditto stood alone on the sidelines, Ditto was aware of what he was doing.

Why can he say it like that?
