EPS 13 ATTACK HUNTER

This miracle is too poetic. It's hard for me to share a story. The forest is like a human being. The leaves swayed like the dances of the tribes being blown by the twilight wind. Raindrops are my playmates, the breeze is my best friend. The sky is my protective dome. The sun emits a colorful spectrum. Like a full-color ribbon in a blue sky. Nature is available to enjoy, not just exploit.

The full moon is back tonight. His perfectly round face hung dashing in the darkness of the sky that was so dense. Marlon sat enjoying the face of the moon on a branch of a Ketapang tree that was quite high. From here he could see the surface of Bira nun lake far away. At such a far point in the middle of the lake, Marlon noticed that there were lights flickering like very small stars, perhaps from a resident's house or from a boat moored by the lake.

The wind blew as breezy, shaking the branch on which he was leaning. The view was far into the middle of the lake. The more perfect the face of the moon, feels the surface of the lake a little wavy. It was as if welcoming the full moon. At full moon, the surface water of the lake will be slightly bumpy, due to the influence of gravitational force or the attraction of the moon, one of the largest natural satellites in the solar system.

His heart is happy. This afternoon he had just visited his school, a First High School belonging to a religious foundation. It was not every day that he could meet with his friends and teachers, but once a week.He had to travel a considerable distance to get to his school. What is called a school is a tent building in the form of a three-meter-high house, which is installed suddenly.

His teacher was a volunteer who was brought in from outside Papua, or else was replaced by a missionary. The number of students was twenty-seven. However his encounter with them made him able to slightly dispel the grieving in his heart. He focused more on his knowledge. Today he could borrow a book on the efficacy of medicinal plants. He seemed to be smiling to himself so happy.

“It was night Marlon.get down from the tree,” said uncle Luke who just came out of Honai.

Malon looked down. Luke's uncle was holding a burning torch looking at him. The bow and arrow were tucked into his waist. Apparently the uncle wanted to hunt wild boar with the papa. Indeed, after the yam planting period is completed, the eyes of the papa is hunting in the forest to eat. Marlon will come down soon.

“Today you look so happy. Did you just visit Yohana?”

Marlon shook his head.

“Did you just get word about your sister, Marlin?”

Marlon nodded back.

“No bapade. Last afternoon I went to school so I did not have time to visit Kaka Yohana,” said Marlon.

Uncle Luke nodded his head. Bapade is a call to uncle or brother of the father.

“Ow, you just got home from school? That's why you look so happy today. Smile yourself over the darkness of the tree trunk.”

Marlon laughed as he closed his face. There seems to be a little shame.

“Bapade want to hunt tonight?”

“Good bapade. I haven't finished reading the book either.”

Luke's uncle soon left Marlon, to join the other brothers. They will hunt in the forest area that became the territory of the Ibo tribe. In the Dani family, each small group has its own forest hunting territory. Iles Mowa shared it. As the greatest chieftain he had the charisma and wisdom to divide the hunting territory fairly.

Marlon went back into his room. Retrieving the red-bound book "Aku and P3K", by author Sis Fauzi, published by Checklist from the Gramedia Indonesia publishing group. The book is very useful because it contains knowledge about the procedure of handling the first of a variety of medical events that occur.

By midnight, Marlon got into bed. Read prayers and praise for Atou to always protect his family. Then accompanied by the sound of night insects and bat wings, Marlon fell asleep with the dry grass that had just been replaced. Takes him to a beautiful dream about his hopes and ideals today.

***

Morning just wiggled. Sunlight radiates through the dense foliage. The sound of birds chirping is earthy. The people of the Ibo tribe have already started their busy lives. There was smoke in the back garden of Ebei. The mama were preparing for the stone burning ceremony. They arranged the stones to be burned on the ground, then covered them with dry wood and leaves.

Something felt strange this morning. The company of the fathers who went hunting last night, has not returned. Though usually they have come home before dawn while bringing the hunted animals. Of course this made the other Ibo family members worried. They are afraid of anything happening with the group that went hunting.

Marlon immediately climbed to the top of the towering ulin tree. The tree is more than fifty meters tall is the tallest tree around the forest inhabited by the Ibo tribe. From that height he could freely observe the forest from a distance. After a long wait, the tip of his eye was able to catch the movements from within the forest. The longer the movements get closer and clearer.

“The company is back!” he screamed from the top of the tree.

His hand pointed to the right of the Ibo tribe's residence. The mothers who were already restless waiting suddenly changed their face water. The direction Marlon pointed to, is not the direction that is usually passed by the papa when returning from the hunt. They should have come back from the left side of the forest, for when they were saying they went to the right side of the forest.

“What happened to them? Why did they go through the wrong way?” whispered Perpetua, almost inaudible.

No one answered Perpetua's questions, as they were also beset by confusion. Tension-filled moments enveloped their hearts and minds. They silently wait for husbands to emerge from the forest. Then the wings of a small bird fluttered, a sign that someone was coming. One by one, their faces emerged from the crowd. A face covered in blood.

The first was Neles Ibo, followed by Luke's uncle and the other brothers. Six people were carrying a fairly strong piece of wood. Below it hangs three large wild boars. Behind them appeared four people with the same equipment. Two Ibo members' bodies were hanging below. Their bodies were covered in blood from their heads to their feet.

The mama immediately welcomed him. Crying screams immediately sounded as he saw the state of the wounds suffered. They were so hysterical to see members of the Ibo family approaching their deaths.

“What happened Neles?” ask Perpetua.

“We were attacked by another group of hunters who used firearms. Two people were seriously injured, I hunted him until morning, but there was no trace of him,” Neles said.
