"Bang, Lo is asked to continue with Rani."
Dirga's forehead wrinkled to hear Juna's words.
"Where are you?" Confused ask. He forgot to have an acquaintance named Rani.
"Maharani, the pretty midwife we met a week ago on a cruise."
"Oh, yes snot." Dirga nodded. She remembers the beautiful young midwife she helped with Juna during a cruise on Sunday. The woman was almost robbed. "Lo still in touch with her?"
"Yes. Through WA," Juna nodded, "he seems to like you, Bang."
"Lo likes him too?"
"At first yes. But ever since he was Bang Dirga mulu, I've been ilfil."
Dirga snorted amusedly at the curses of his junior. He and Juna had been friends for a year, ever since the young man along with a group of enlisted men and another young Bintara, came to the Company where he served.
"Don't you like him?"
"No interest," said Dirga relaxed.
"She's beautiful, Bang."
"Yes. Know, but not interest."
Juna looked at Dirga with his eyebrows raised, "Know no Bang, long ago Lo nyeremin ya. In deketin pretty girl Lo does not want. Don't you like guys, do you?"
Dirga laughed at Juna's accusation.
"Yes not. I still like girls."
"The girl I like hates is like me now."
"Why?"
Dirga did not answer. His eyes glared at trying to recall the memories of a few years ago.

A teenage girl in a hysterical white-grey uniform looks at her mother's lifeless body lying in a hospital morgue.
Dirga, whom the girl's father ordered to watch over her only child, follows the girl from school and is shocked to learn that the girl's mother has died. After calling the girl's father, Dirga then observed the girl from the door of the morgue. He was afraid to approach her. His relationship with Leah deteriorates, knowing that Santy, his older brother, is the affair of Adam Bratasena, Leah's father.
Dirga, Shanty, and Leah's mother actually still have a family relationship. They're half-brothers. Shanty and Dirga's late mother married the late Father of Anggun Bratasena (Mother Leah). They actually had a good family relationship before Shanty did. And for Dirga, Anggun is also a good brother like Shanty. He always helps Dirga in times of distress. Secretly paid for Dirga's school arrears, bought her books and nice clothes. Graceful never considered Dirga a half-sister. He treated Dirga like a sister or even a biological child.
Dirga also loved Anggun, only that blood was thicker than water, he could not leave or curse the actions of Shanty who had taken Anggun's husband, because Shanty was his biological brother.
And about Leah, Dirga likes it. Not as an uncle to a nephew, but as a man to a woman. He knew the feeling was wrong, therefore he was unwilling to reveal. Especially now that Leah already really hated him and Shanty.
"Wine!" Adam Bratasena's voice made him look. The man and his brother have arrived. And Adam went straight into the morgue to see his wife's body.
Leah was surprised to see the presence of the Father. Soon a hysterical scream and an unpleasant mockery were heard coming out of the girl's tiny mouth. Not satisfied with just cursing, Leah also attacked his father. Some nurses held her and tried to calm Leah down.
As she is about to be taken out of the morgue, Leah slaps and grabs Shanty. Dirga's face even felt sore with Leah's claw because she tried to protect her brother.
"It's all because of you. If you don't show up and mess up, our family won't be like this! And Mama's not gonna die!" Leah said with eyes of hate, "I swear. I'm going to make your lives as ruined as my life and Mama's. If you're not going to catch up with my mama," wiping away the tears with the back of her hand, she grinned pointing at Shanty, "I'll make your son suffer the same fate as my mama."
Shanty's face paled.
Leah jerked at the nurses holding her hand, then left.
