Misunderstand

Early in the morning Davina and her husband had reached home, after his night service at Lantern Hospital. Looking around the house, there was no sight of his son. He also took the initiative to wake up his son. Arriving in front of his son's room, Alex's door was unlocked. It opens very slowly.

" Alex what have you done?" Davina shouts in surprise Alex is hugging Vania on the bed.

" Mama! It's not like Mama saw." Alex was shocked by Davina's screams

" Father! Davina yelled for her husband.

" What's wrong Ma?" ask husband.

" Look at what Alex is doing" Davina was filled with anger.

Fredy looked at Alex without saying. Vania who heard the commotion woke up and opened her eyes.

"Aunties. Om. It's just a misunderstanding" Vania said in fear.

"No Vania, it's Alex's fault. Auntie doesn't know what to say to Renata, your mama." Davina looked at both of them.

"Nothing happened Auntie" said Vania.

Alex doesn't know how to explain everything. Vania was also confused by his circumstances.

" Alex! You have to marry Vania as soon as possible" Davina said grumpily.

"But Auntie! We're not...." Vania did not continue her words.

"Try you think, honey, a girl sleeping in a boy's room hugged each other. Plus, just wear the guy's shirt. Who doesn't think. Aunty's gonna call Renata to take care of your wedding." Davina then left them both.

Alex and Vania looked at each other.

"So what should we do? I'm not ready to get married. We have to explain to Aunt Davina." Vania meant to get out of the room.

"Freely we explain, Mama Davina believes more in what she sees." Alex pulls Vania into his arms.

"Why did my sister hurt me?" ask Vania while looking at Alex.

"Bring up a mood." Alex laughed and walked out of his room.

Vania came out of Alex's room. Seen from the middle room near the stairs Alex was having a serious conversation with his parents. Not wanting to interrupt, he went home.

" Aunty. Om. Vania pamit first. Sorry for making such a fuss in this house." Vania looked down in fear.

" Dear, this is not your fault. Aunty's only child who can't help herself," Davina replied with a smile.

Vania remains determined to return home, even though Alex's parents have forbidden her. In front of his house, the gate was unlocked. That means the workers in his house have already entered.

"Non Vania's. Where are you from this early in the morning?" ask the housekeeper.

"From Alex Pak's house" he answered briefly.

Vania went into her room and continued her sleep.

During the day at Alex's house, Renata was talking to Davina and Fredy. Davina told me all the things she saw this morning.

"Renata, you don't hate my son, do you?" ask Davina to weld.

"If they both say they didn't do it, then nothing happens. I'm sure you two have misunderstood our son" Renata said without any emotion.

"If nothing happens to them. I want them to stay married. Some of their children have been arranged. What do you think, Pa?" ask Davina to her husband.

"If Papa is up to Mama Renata only. What's best for them I agree with" Fredy said, hugging his wife.

"You guys, hugging in front of me. I wasn't married, I was out of touch" said Renata.

Davina and Fredy laughed at the words of their best friend.

"Does Alex agree with this marriage?" ask Renata.

"I'll make sure he agrees" Davina replied as she looked at Fredy.
