Woojin Park? Why she....

Anna flinched and spontaneously inched. Woojin was stunned for a moment, then smiled awkwardly as he said, "Sorry, I didn't mean anything bad to Sunbae."

Anna turned her face away from nervousness. This treatment reminded him of Logan who had done the same thing. But, why did the man do this and become his follower?

"It's okay," Anna replied muttering. "Why are you here? Not going to dinner together?"

"I'm .. Today I'm tired" Woojin replied, turning his face to the sky. "Prints break at home."

Anna smiled scornfully. "You didn't do any work from earlier," he said slowly, but Woojin heard him, so the man hurriedly denied.

"Who said? I just got you a coffee, copied some files, kept..." However, Anna still scoffed at him, and he again defended himself by muttering softly. "Didn't that do the job, too?"

A little job to be exact. But, Anna was sorry to see it so, unlike her who immediately got the task on the first day because of her qualifications that had been experienced.

"Yes, tomorrow I will give you a task according to your expertise," said Anna, did not have the heart to sneeze on. "I've looked at your data, and I think there's a job that suits you."

What an innocent man. Anna smiled at the overreaction. Then he remembered something that made him curious. Anna was about to ask, but the man exclaimed at the sight of the bus that was about to take her to the destination.

The car stopped, and Anna rushed up to it. Anna glances suspiciously at the moment Woojin comes in. Anna thought, is this guy a stalker?

"Where do you live?" Anna loudly dared to ask, and fortunately Woojin did not take offense, replied innocently.

"Oh," Anna muttered softly. The place that the man said was also the area where he lived.

The bus kept going, both quiet. Anna had no idea what the man was doing, since the last conversation she had always been staring down the street from the bus window. However, Park Woojin was trying to eliminate the silence with a question.

Anna was stunned for a moment while looking at him, thinking what was the question for her? However, looking at Woojin's gaze, it seemed like the question was indeed for him.

"Well 6 months old" Anna replied, then asked Woojin another question. "You yourself ... Have you ever been to Indonesia? Your Indonesian is very fluent."

Park Woojin nodded. "I lived there for 6 years, but I came back to this country because my mother died."

The man showed a sad face even though he had a bitter smile at the end of his sentence. And it affected Anna, so guilt flinched.

Park Woojin froze. Anna realized the silence, and looked at her. The always clumsy and cheerful man showed a cold expression even though his gaze was straight ahead.

However, before long, Woojin smiled back while looking at him, even though the smile was forced. "The man I call father I've called him a long time ago."

Anna is stunned unblinkingly, Woojin's words make her want to shift away from him. The excitement he suddenly made seemed strange, especially considering all the coincidences that came today as well. He thought he would keep his distance from the man, not accept his social media friendships, whatever excuses he had!

A quiet morning in the dining room. There were only Nina, Elina, and Matthew. Logan did not accompany them to breakfast because the man was not in Jakarta some time ago.

However, not only this, the somber atmosphere in this house took place, more precisely since the wedding of Nina and Logan. This house is rarely visited Logan, even Nina and Logan never roomed. The man kept his distance with his cold demeanor. It's painful, but Nina's trying to survive. Hopefully, Logan will melt down someday.

"Ma," call Nina after the food runs out. "I want to go to the boutique. Mama's coming?"

Elina smiled faintly. "Ec ... Mama's not feeling well, you're the one who's gone" replied Elina, trying not to hurt Nina's feelings.

But Nina was still sad. Her smile was just to cover up that feeling. "Yes, it's okay. Mama's resting at home, yeah."

Elina could not look at Nina and still chimed in with a nod. He felt guilty treating Nina like this. He still could not accept her as a son-in-law, especially about Anna still imprinted in his mind.

Matthew left for work after breakfast, and Elina drove him to the door. Nina went to her room to change clothes.

Nina stared around the room, her facial expression clear. This spacious room felt empty and cold. Every night he lay alone with sadness. Tears always come out.

Remembering the first night of their wedding. Logan left after changing clothes. Nina pleads not to leave, but Logan throws Nina in his arms, then walks away. Logan knew that Nina would definitely look for him at her private villa, but Nina did not find him. It seemed, Logan had already prepared another hiding place to avoid it.

"And now" Nina murmured as she sat on the bed. "He went abroad without me knowing where he was. Do I have to force you again to be by my side, Logan?"

Tears flow in the eyes. Nina wiped it a little rough, then turned her attention to her ringing phone. Diana called.

Nina got up, grabbed the coat, then went downstairs. The car that delivered it was ready, just drove Nina to the destination.

Her mother had already gotten there, and Diana was astonished to see Nina go alone again to this place. Nina was sitting on a chair, while Diana was sorting out two sets of clothes chosen by the boutique employee.

"Is it hard to persuade him to come?" diana asked insinuatingly, sometimes glancing for a moment.

"Mama Elina is not feeling well" replied Nina, defending herself from embarrassment.

Diana scoffs. "The main reason for rejecting you. You're really stupid to believe it."

Nina did not answer. That is the truth. The title of "son-in-law" is only on paper, but their hearts are still unwilling to be replaced by Anna.

"Logan is still overseas?" scowl Diana, diverting the topic that actually made Nina's heart more hurt.

"Ma," Nina called, Diana turned her head. "My patience is over. Does Mama have a way for Logan to come home?"[]
