Looking for Ransom Money

After getting word from the police station about the arrest of her husband. Rina who got the news after returning home from work and was tired of feeling the confusion must be how. What's he supposed to do? Moreover, the information obtained from the police office is less clear. When the police said the name of the place of detention was not heard clearly but her husband's mobile phone was no longer active. He doesn't know where to go and with whom. Luckily, a friend was there to help us get him to the police station. On the way they were a little confused looking for a less obvious address so they muttered. Until he finally found his place.

There he met the police station guard who was on duty up front and asked anyone who came to go inside. To meet the police chief responsible for the arrest, he must leave a ID card. And before entering his room he also had to put his bag in the locker.

Before talking to the police chief. One of the police approached and advised Rio to be rehabilitated so as not to be detained.

"Look, ma'am, about Mr. Rio's case. This is related to the use of drugs and as you know this kind of case, the punishment is very heavy. Especially if Mr. Rio is involved in the distribution of the goods will be even more severe punishment. And then I'll face the police investigation department. My advice, later if you are asked by the police, the investigation department said that Mr. Rio asked to be rehabbed so that the case does not reach the court, ma'am." Said the police officer.

After Rina spoke to the police, Rina met the police investigation department. Previously, Lina was asked about her husband's case. Did she find out that her husband was using the item, and asked Rina if any of her husband's friends were involved. But Rina did not know about it at all. Then the police department explained to Rina that from the results of the investigation and evidence that she found Mr. Rio was only a user. In accordance with what the police had suggested that he had met, then Rina expressed her desire that the husband be rehabilitated. After hearing what Rina said, then the police investigation section asked Rina to sign a statement of her desire to ask for rehabilitation. After that Rina was met with one of the rehabilitation department to get further explanation. From the meeting, she had to prepare some money for the costs during rehab so that her husband would not enter the trial. Rina also applied for waivers, he negotiates the price so that the cost during rehabilitation is not too large. He was asked to think carefully about the decision to rehabilitate or not, he was given only one Sunday.

Although in confusion where else she had to find some money that she had to prepare so that her husband could be rehabilitated. He once felt like giving up because he could no longer get the amount of money requested within a week. However, her husband asked her to keep trying to find a loan and pleaded for her release.

Rina looked for a loan here and there, some of her colleagues were contacted for help. His friends were also contacted for loans. But neither one produced results. Including her husband's family, no one helped. Nothing could be expected of her husband's family. Lina felt very sad. It used to be that her husband's family was always prioritized by Rio compared to her. Anything will be done by Rio for their sake, even to the point of noisiness with Rina though. But when Rio was in need of help, her husband's family including her sisters no one cared, they all let go. All leave it to Rina. Rina must fight on her own to free her husband from custody. She works but not because she feels confused about where to go again while she is just a woman who should be protected. Her husband's extended family hands off none of them helped her. A penny has no help at all. Rina pleads with her family to be able to pawn her house certificate in order to get some money.

Out of pity with Rina worried that something might happen on the way. So his family finally allowed his home certificate to be pawned at the bank. The process of disbursement of the loan application to the bank takes two weeks, while the time he has only a week. Then Rina and the family borrowed to some relatives and neighbors to get the money with a guarantee after the cashout was directly paid.

After paying the ransom as a rehabilitation fee, Rio was allowed to go home with a note that he would be re-rehabmed according to a predetermined schedule until the results were negative.

Because of that incident, Rio was no longer working. So that for a while all expenses must be borne by Rina. Even Rina had to prepare another job application letter for her husband. Not to mention the cost to apply for a job. All the costs of daily necessities are getting bigger while the income is very small. Rina must be able to manage finances so that all can be fulfilled even though she has to save a lot.

In the confusion Rina remembered the phone number of her husband's old boss. She contacted her husband's boss. And asked for a job vacancy for her husband.

"Hello, sir. How are you? Can you help my husband to get a job?" ask her husband's boss. Rio's boss is from China, he doesn't speak Indonesian. Although Rina does not speak English, she tries to ask questions using English in a language that may not be understood by people.

Fortunately her husband's boss was welcoming, and was willing to accept Rio working again.

A few days later Rio started to work in the old place, although the salary was not as big as the salary in the previous job. However, it can help pay off the loan repayment.

After this incident, Rio had already started to change in a better direction. Their families also seem happy. And their finances have been somewhat stable even though there are still installments to be paid. At least the burden on their shoulders had already reduced.
