"From the results of the provisional investigation and reinforced with cctv on site, we concluded that the accident that hit Mr. Abian was not an ordinary accident" replied the police named Doni.
"What do you mean by father?" Zahira still doesn't understand.
"Simplenya, the accident was planned," said Doni.
"Astaghfirullah haladzim" cried Zahira. She did not think that anyone would mean anything to her husband. "Did you find that guy?" Zahira wants to know.
"Unfortunately not. That is why we need additional information from you if there are people you suspect. Business rivals or enemies of your husband may be," said Doni.
"I'm sorry, sir. But, as far as I know my husband is good to anyone. He never did anything bad to people. That's why I was shocked to hear from Mr. Doni just now."
"Maybe there's a friend, relative, or Mr Abian's family you suspect?" Doni asked further.
Zahira seemed to think. The one who had hated her husband all this time was Abian's mother and half-sister. "There's no way Mama and Armand are that close. Moreover, these few weeks they have always been kind to Mas Abian and me." Zahira.
"It seems like nothing, sir," Zahira finally replied.
"Then it might be a business competition. We will investigate further" said Doni.
"Thank you, sir. I hope the culprit gets caught soon" Zahira said expectantly.
Whoever it is, the culprit must be immediately arrested to account for his actions.
"Yes already, Mom. Excuse me." The two policemen left the hospital.
Zahira entered the room where her husband was still weakly lying with some tools attached to his body. Zahira could not bear to see her husband like this.
Abian's wife then slightly pulled the empty seat next to the gurney back to sit on. She grabbed her husband's hand to hold.
"Mas, get up! I miss you, Mas. You promised before you left yesterday that you would take me for a walk to see the stars at the top. You have to keep that promise, Mom. You also said right, maybe if we do that at the top with a calm atmosphere, Abian junior will definitely be able to attend soon. You said you'd never let me out of my room at the top." Zahira kept asking her husband to talk. He hoped that Abian could hear all his chatter and wake up soon.
Chequek. The door of care opened, a middle-aged woman came to Zahira and hugged her.
"Patience to you, son. Keep praying that your husband will come to his senses soon."
That woman was Ranti, Zahira's mother who had just arrived.
"Mom, Mas Abian, Ma'am" whined Zahira. He tried to look strong to not cry in front of the husband.
"Yes, Son. I know you must be sad to see your husband like this. But... I'm sure that Abian will wake up soon. Trust mom." Ranti rubbed her daughter's back up and down.
"Mom why did you know Mas Abian was treated here?"
"Bik Lastri told mom. I know you need me, so I'm straight here. Moreover, I'm sure your husband's family will definitely not come. They hate you and Abian so much" replied Ranti.
"Who said?" suddenly someone came out of the door. And that voice was familiar to both Zahira and Ranti.
"Mama, Armand," called Zahira when she found out she was her husband's stepmother and half-sister.
Zahira got up from her seat to greet the in-laws. But, as usual Devita refused him outright.
"What happened to Abian?" ask Devita ketus.
"Who told Mama that Mas Abian was here?" instead of answering Zahira back to throw questions because as far as he knew, he had not told Bik Lastri to tell them.
"So Armand and I went to your house to give you an invitation to Armand's birthday celebration. But, your house person said you were going to the hospital because Abian had an accident," replied Devita, as usual with a thin tone.
"I'm sure this Abian must be because of you. I told you you were no match for Abian" Devita scolded as usual.
"Sorry, Miss Devi. The so-called calamity was unexpected and it wasn't my son's fault." As a mother, Ranti certainly does not accept her child is always cornered and blamed.
"Lho, Ma? The name pregnant is not human power. It's the will of God's Gusti."
"Whoa. Just reason! Abian should have married my niece, surely she can have children not kayak now."
"With my niece caught cheating, the time is the woman who has cheated still maintained? Strange this Devi's mother." Ranti clucked.
Devi could not say anything more. His nephew was stupid, clearly betrothed to Abian who was well established and handsome still wanted an outside man.
"His name was also khilaf," Devi tried to defend her nephew.
"Mom, that khilaf was once. But these? Didn't I know that Inge's maternal niece had changed partners frequently?"
"You!"
"What?!" Devi is indeed her former employer, but Ranti will not budge if the haughty woman has already vilified her daughter.
"Mom, Mama, already. Please stop fighting! Mas Abian is sick, Mom, Ma," Zahira's great-grandson.
Devita and Ranti rolled both her eyeballs.
"If Mom and Mama can not calm down, mending you out of this room because Mas Abian needs calm," continued Zahira.
Simultaneously Abian moved his fingers.
"Mas, you're conscious, Mas," said Zahira happily.
"Eugh.... " Abian groaned a little while slowly opening his eyes.
"Where is this?" abian asked while holding his head which still felt heavy.
"Alhamdulillah, Mother. You finally realize." Zahira crying. She was grateful that her husband had finally died.
Abian looked at Zahira with a strange look.
"Mas, how do you feel? Is anyone sick?" ask Zahira worriedly. She held her husband's hand again.
Zahira gasped in shock as Abian threw his hand violently.
"Mas, what's wrong?"
Not only was Zahira confused by Abian's attitude. Ranti, Devita, and Armand also felt the same way.
"How dare a servant child like you hold my hand!" jolt Abian with eyes full of hatred.
"Mas, I'm your wife. I'm your wife, Mas. Zahira" said Zahira. She could not believe her husband would say such a hurtful thing.
"My wife?" Abian repeated Zahira's words.
"Yes, Mas. I'm your wife" replied Zahira again. "Look at this ring! This ring is our wedding ring, Mas."
Zahira showed a ring on her ring finger and Abian's ring finger. Abian looked at the ring carefully.
"Argh! My head hurts." Abian shouted back while holding his head.
"Mas... Why are you, Mas? Mas.... " Zahira looks panicked.
"Son, calm yourself! I'll call the doctor." Ranti immediately went out of the room to call the doctor.
While Abian still continued to shout while holding his head.
