CHAPTER 8. Beckham Virtual.

In the room, Alfie who was as usual laying down on the bed was startled by the sound of the System.

A week later.

The afternoon looks bright with the sun shining on the stadium where the match between Regina High School and O-high School was held. Alfie and Leo remain the mainstays of Regina High School as the assailants alongside Dicky.

O-High School has 2 mainstay attackers a 2 twins, named Denny and Donny. They are an attacker who has a dangerous attack with a characteristic short pass that can confuse the opponent's defense.

Priits

The match also began.

"Ha ha ha! Donny, look at the way they stand up from their weak defenders, we can definitely break into their wickets easily!"

Denny the Big Brother of Donny immediately underestimated, his face grinned staring with a mocking look just because he saw the way to stand from the defenders of his opponent who looked weak.

"Ha ha ha! Yes Ka! Let's all-out attack them!"

Quickly Denny and Donny immediately make short passes that damage the defense of the O-High School that makes all players from Regina High School distraught.

It didn't take long for the Denny and Donny twins, who are currently in the penalty box from the Regina High School team, "Donny is fast ball-feed!"

"Ready Ka, this is the ball." Donny passed the ball rolling through the legs of his opponent's defenders accurately to Denny.

"Receive this!" Donny who received a mature pass from Denny immediately kicked the ball with a hard shot towards the opponent's goal, and

Gool!!!

The match was just a few minutes, O-High School was 1-0 up. All the players of Regina High School just looked at each other because they did not expect the attack would come very quickly.

The match started again.

"Well, this time I'll show you my skills!"

Leo who was holding the ball then confidently dribbled, passed several players to near the penalty box line opponents, and

Priit! Violations occurred.

Leo is seen falling and lying on the green grass, after being stopped by a hard tackle by the opponent resulting in a free kick for Regina High School, slightly outside the penalty box. When he stood up, he took the ball back.

However, the ball he did not put on the free kick point, the ball he gave to Alfie, saying, "If you are a great attacker, the execution of this free kick, Alfie."

A cynical smile emanated from his face, with his mocking eyes that seemed to be humbling Alfie the lively skull. He deliberately gave the ball to Alfie and challenged him to a free kick, hoping that his free kick would deviate away from the opponent's goal and could make Alfie embarrass himself in front of players and spectators.

Alfie seemed to be taking the gift ball from Leo, but it was as if something had stuck in his heart and hesitated to take the ball.

"He challenged me to a free kick? He didn't know I had Beckham's card in my system. However, now that the match has only lasted 10 minutes, this card can only be used for 15 minutes."

Alfie's face looked confused to take advantage of his star card that he would wear now or he would hold first to wear at the end of the game.

Currently Alfie has been equipped with a system with a 2-star Inzaghi card that can be used 10 minutes and a 3-star Beckham card that can be used for 15 minutes. The cards he got after during the previous week were always practice running and shooting.

“What is David Beckham's card?! The most famous football player?” Alfie Mumbles.

[For shooting practice, master will enter into an arena]

“Arena? System, you mean what arena?”

At the end of the mattress where Alfie's legs rested was a small floating hologram circle.

The circle of the hologram suddenly enlarged making a portal with a whirling sound that made Alfie very surprised by her rounded eyes and tightened neck. Slowly he wriggled down from his bed and walked vigilantly staring towards the hologram which was emitting a dazzling crystal light.

“System, do I have to enter into this huge hologram portal?”

[Yes, please come in sir]

Alfie then reassured himself, finally entering the hologram. A glittering light dominated by blue and white with several other colors seemed to surround Alfie who with her binary eyes was amazed to see what she had just seen during her life.

At the end of the portal was an arena dominated by blue and black, and after Alfie had set foot in the Arena.

"Welcome Mr. Alfie."

Suddenly comes a virtual man who approaches and welcomes the arrival of Alfie with the occasional virtual man losing a bit of his light as intermittently as in a buffering state.

The virtual man with a tall posture, a very handsome face and his trademark blonde haircut was David Beckham.

"You're not David Beckham?"

Alfie stammered in shock at the figure of a very famous man welcoming him warmly and politely as if he were a British prince.

"Yes sir, I am Virtual Beckham, who will train you in shooting with precision towards the goal."

“I will be trained by a Beckham, even if only virtual, I am very happy,” muttered Alfie.

“Master is currently inside the shooting training arena. The first stage in this shooting session, Mister will kick the ball towards the goal with a predetermined goal.”

“Alright Mr Beckham, Ahsiaaap!” sahut Alfie with a burning spirit.

Back to the game.

“Sadly the beckham card I have is only 3 stars, so can only wear it in 15 minutes,” mumbled Alfie.

However, due to getting a demeaning challenge from Leo, Alfie cannot hold back his 3-star Beckham card that he currently has.

“Alright I'll take this free kick, Leo. System activate Beckham card. I'll prove how to shoot Beckham style to you Leo.”

Alfie was confident to take the ball in Leo's hand with both arms, but when the ball was taken, the ball was taken, Leo held the ball as if he did not let it slip easily from his grasp. Leo then stared intently at Alfie's eyes.

“You sure you want to kick this ball, Alfie? You are not afraid of embarrassing yourself he he he he he,” said Leo scoffed with a cynical grinning face, then released the ball from his grasp.

Alfie finally grasped the ball. He felt like he was holding a high expectation from the ball. A ball that can make it look like a real football player and become a player that will no longer be underestimated by other players
