26. Apologizing part 2

"Ahmad wants to make amends for all those mistakes, well. Ahmad wanted to ask his father directly to make Arini his wife" Ahmad took a deep breath to unravel his nervousness.

"Ahmad promised to make Arini as happy as Ahmad can" he said again. Looks bulir sweat puffed on his forehead even though the atmosphere of the middle room was air-conditioned.

Arini's father looked at Papa Ahmad and his wife. Both of Ahmadpun's parents are still waiting for what happens next. Silent...

"Ahmad is sorry, Dad. After the Americans, Ahmad has been trying to find Arini for the past two months. But Ahmad did not get the slightest clue, until finally the accidental meeting happened." Ahmad took a breath to gather strength amid the silence of the gathered family.

"Ahmad considers this the path that God has prepared for us. Therefore, Ahmad sincerely and humbly proposed to Arini for the second time to be Ahmad's wife. Ahmad could not promise excessively but one that Ahmad could confirm. Arini will not lack anything in her life, God willing"

"Father and Mama gave everything to Arinai. The problems that have passed let them be a lesson. Fate received sincerely ibshaAllah produces good happiness afterwards. I accepted your proposal. Dad asked immediately the marriage was carried out even in a simple way" Arini's long sentence relieved Ahmad's heart and both his parents.

Mother Irene smiled widely. A happy look appeared on his face.

"Mother is happy in this situation, Rin" mother Irene stroked Arini's head right next to her.

"I'm sorry, Liana. All this is not our will" mother Irene woke up and hugged Liana mother of Arini who was her best friend since Junior High.

Mama Arini smiles haru.

"That's it. I'm sorry for your son's passing in that tragedy. How's your grandson doing?" mama Arini shifted the theme of the conversation so that there was no sadness between them.

" They're still in America. And it will continue there. They're doing just fine. Later they will follow to Indonesia when Ahmad married"

"We should immediately determine the wedding day" said a heavy voice belonging to mr. Ainsley Al Akhtar confronts Arini's father.

"I want to be done immediately. Because I can't linger at home" said Arini's father who immediately got a look of approval from the family present.

"I think we need to ask them both" said Papa Ahmad looking at his son and Arini who had been silent as a listener.

"How about, Rin, Ahmad?" ask Mama Arini to her children.

Arini looked at Ahmad with resignation.

The conversation that night went well even though there was occasionally a sense of awkward Ahmad because of his past mistakes. Finally it was agreed next week the wedding will be simple in Jakarta, as their families are almost all in the capital.

The night passed quietly between the two nuclear families. Ahmad breathed a sigh of relief. One big problem is over. Arini's family is ready to return to Jakarta to hold a marriage contract there. So it was decided the day after they would all return to Jakarta, while Arini's father still had to return to his office in the provincial city as an officer of the TNI AD was not easy to leave the duty of service.

"Room. Why?"🤔🤔reply Arini while grinning.

"Open your room door. I'll make you more confident in my sincerity"😡😡😡😡

Arini laughed reading a reply from Ahmad.

"Go to hell" he replied and then turned off his internet connection. Arini laughed happily without a sound. Finally one step away from marrying a young realization in her life.
