Flying Umbrella Swordsman

Flying Umbrella Swordsman
Patih Residence

Five handsome guys in the sleigh behind the car. Guarded by five soldiers. While senapati Suta Wingit sat down with old Adijaya in place of the coachman and Asmarini sitting inside.

The carriage door was left open so that the one in front could freely look inside.

Asmarini identified himself with his real name. Few know that she is the daughter of a noble in Wanagiri. So he was not worried that his identity would be recognized by the people of Purwa Sedana kingdom.

The kingdom as Adijaya had previously suspected. A new and pioneering government.

Adijaya introduced himself as Ki Bandawa. He claims to be Asmarini's father.

Throughout the journey Suta Wingit tells about the kingdom of Purwa Sedana which turned out to be true as Adijaya suspected. The territory of this kingdom is still within the scope of Tarumanagara. However, the plan was for an independent kingdom to stand on its own. Not Tarumanagara's.

Will it rival Tarumanagara in a gradual way?

According to Suta Wingit, when it is time to declare self-reliance, the territory that is part of the Purwa Sedana kingdom is the villages that are on the border between the three kingdoms. Indraprasta, Wanagiri and Manukrawa.

Of course this clearly annexed the territory of another kingdom. And there will be tension. So now Purwa Sedana is preparing everything to face the inevitable possibility.

It's just that as far as the conversation goes, Suta Wingit never once mentioned the name of the king. On that occasion Suta Wingit offered to let Adijaya join the new kingdom. He promised a position if he wanted to join.

Not without reason senapati it 'woo' Adijaya. He had already investigated, by riding a horse carriage of this size surely Ki Bandawa was no ordinary person. At least a rich merchant.

"An interesting offer," said Ki Bandawa aka old Adijaya. "I never knew what it was like to be a palace official,"

"It's a great opportunity, sir" said Suta Wingit. He glanced towards Asmarini.

Many times this young man glanced at the girl. Somehow Asmarini even replied with a long smile. This makes Adijaya's heart hotter. Luckily her red face was unknown as it was covered in disguise.

"I will think about it while walking," Ki Bandawa said without looking back. His gaze was straight forward as if he no longer wanted to see them lyrics. He's holding back his feelings. "Dinda don't understand how I feel?" the weakness in the heart.

"Master no longer has to work hard. By becoming an official, the master's job will be lighter. Anyway more delicious," persuaded Suta Wingit.

Ki Bandawa seemed to have heard no more. The feeling is not out of whack. Is this what you call jealousy? The fear of losing is real. Is his love for Asmarini so deep?

The residence of Patih Munding Wirya turned out to be like a small palace. Very spacious. Consists of several buildings. Between one building and the other is separated by a spacious courtyard and garden as well.

The entire residence is enclosed by a high kuta (fortress). There is only one entrance, the gate in front. The back is a big field. Looks like it's for war practice.

If the Patih residence was just like this, what about the royal palace? And... Where is the place?

Ki Bandawa and Asmarini were taken to a building without walls and barriers. Just a roof and support poles. The floor is made of polished boards.

There turned out to be a lot of people gathered sitting cross-legged facing the rather spacious courtyard. Ki Bandawa and Asmarini sat down to join them.

While Suta Wingit chose to sit separately with some people who were also in certain ranks. They seem to be people who already have offices.

Moments later from the largest building, which resembled a large house. Out a middle-aged man dressed in luxury was flanked by two bodyguards.

This man was standing in the courtyard facing the people who had been waiting for him for quite some time.

Several people in separate rows stood up and were together.

"Worship us, Gusti Patih!" say them simultaneously.

"Sit down!" patih Munding Wirya's.

Everybody sit back. The Patih still stood up to give the direction.

"I have previously given thousands of thanks for the willingness of Ki Sanak and Ni Sanak to all fulfill my invitation.

"As you all know, the kingdom of Purwa Sedana is still in the pioneering stage. We need the contribution of our brothers, be it in the form of property, thought and energy.

"Of course the contribution is not given by the brothers for free. We will give you a token of service in return. Which are some positions that will be filled by Ki Sanak all,"

Patih Munding Wirya paused for a moment. He noticed the attitude of the audience over his explanation earlier. None of them have asked questions. Then the Patih continued.

"While the provisions applied and became the rules there is little difference between the merchants and the warriors,"

Ki Bandawa and Asmarini were in the line mentioned by the Patih. Merchants and merchants seeking office.

Patih Munding Wirya then explained that the provision for merchants to give their property with a predetermined amount, it will immediately get a service mark.

As for the warriors, they were instantly accepted and given a position. It's just that to vote for whose position is the highest, they will be pitted against his intelligence.

"The last one standing here." The Patih pointed down, meaning the courtyard where it stood. "It will be the king's personal bodyguard,"

Those present looked nodding, including Ki Bandawa while watching Suta Wingit who from earlier always glanced at Asmarini.

"Before I introduce those who have joined first" Patih Munding Wirya said later.

"The main meeting of Suta Wingit,"

It is called standing and yelling.

"Young Minister Candra Kusuma!"

The eyes of Ki Bandawa and Asmarini immediately looked towards the person called, then the mangosteen and looked at each other.

"Next, Mangkubumi Ki Astapala,"

Ki Astapala looked the same age as the Patih, only his body was tall and thin. He seems to be from the merchant community.

"And lastly, Minister Jero Ki Danapati."

After introducing them, Patih Munding Wirya requested that the merchants separate the ranks from the warriors.

It can only be counted after being separated. The merchant group of only five people including Ki Bandawa and his daughter counted one. While the warrior there are seven people.

"Well, the contest between the warriors will be held tomorrow. So for the warriors, please rest first. For the course of the event I submit to senapati Suta Wingit,"

Senapati Suta Wingit stood up and invited the warriors to their respective resting places.

"And to the merchants, Minister Jero will serve."

After speaking the Patih returned to his house.

Mantri Jero Ki Danapati approached and invited the merchants to their respective resting places.
