First Night of Cana

First Night of Cana
Cry

"Sorry."

It had been dozens of times that word had come out from Kana's pale lips. There is no other word than that one. Besides, Kana was just silent. His eyes were empty, he did not cry or scream hysterically. That made the people beside him worried.

They knew, Kana must have felt tremendous pain after giving birth. However, he just kept silent neither whimpering nor complaining of pain. Yes, the fetus in Kana's stomach was forced to be born because Kana had severe bleeding due to a hard kick that she experienced. The woman's breast cannot be saved.

"Dear cry, don't shut up like this." Mama Kana hugged her half-lying child with that blank look. Mama Kana had no power to stem her cries. His heart was broken to see his beloved daughter hit by the loss of a fetus.

There is no word from Cana. His gaze was straight ahead. Those normally sparkling eyes were now dimming. There was no cheerful smile on Kana's pretty face. Making the heart of anyone who sees it will hurt.

"Darling, say something!" The middle-aged woman did not give up trying to get her daughter to talk or at least react to what had happened to her. "Yes!"

"Have it, let Kana rest." Gufron gently pulled his wife away from the Princess. Mama Kana wiped her tears and followed her husband's steps out of the nursery of Kana leaving Kana and Adrian who faithfully accompanied his wife.

Adrian, who had not left Kana, tried not to cry. He could not bear to see his wife. Kana was too shocked she was a little shaken by what hit her. They had to lose the baby they had been waiting for without even hearing her cries.

"Well, do you want to drink or eat something?" Adrian tries to get Kana's attention. Grasping Kana's fingers tightly channeled her energy. Kana's not budging.

"Na, say something, honey. Don't just shut up. Our son will be sad to see his mother like this." Adrian cupped Kana's face so that Kana would look at him. Unfortunately, Kana's eyes were still the same. Blank.

"Sorry." Kana's soft voice sounded heartbreaking, Adrian biting his tongue. Same as Kana.

Crushed.

Adrian also wanted to cry or scream, his heart ached to accept the fact that he had to lose his future baby and see his wife like this. But he must be strong not to show his sadness, he must be strong for Cana.

Adrian kissed Kana's cheek and hugged her tightly. "It's not your fault Na. It's my fault" whispered Adrian in Kana's ear rubbing Kana's back slowly. "So, get mad at me hit me if you need to swear. Don't just shut up like this." Adrian is still trying to get Kana to react.

Unfortunately, it's still the same. Kana was still silent with a blank look made Adrian's heart hurt. He wants his Cana back. Adrian promises to obey whatever Kana wants. After this he'll take better care of Kana. He would never hurt much less leave Kana, as long as Kana returned as the Kana he knew.

"Ian."

Adrian looked towards the voice that called out to him. He saw Kanda and Joddy approaching with a bouquet of flowers and a basket of fruit in each hand.

"Where?" Kanda placed the fruit basket on the nightstand of the hospital bed, his eyes staring at the silent Kana with a pale face. Suddenly Kanda's heart felt sliced to see the state of his sister. The little girl who was always cheerful and had a spicy mouth every time she nailed it was now just silent like an ice sculpture, cold. The joy was gone from him.

"It's still the same." Adrian took off his hug, looking affectionately at his wife.

" He's too shaken, he needs time" Kanda said, staring at Adrian.

"Should I?" adrian asked with a trembling voice.

"Yes, you're his father." Kanda patted Adrian on the shoulder. "Lo must be strong."

Adrian sighed heavily then looked at Kana. "Na, I'll take our son first huh. Pray for him from here." Adrian stroked the top of Kana's head and kissed her forehead. Unfortunately, there was no response from Kana.

"You go, I'll take care of him." Joddy looked at Kana concerned. Adrian is actually heavy leaving Kana and Joddy alone. But he had no other way, both Adrian's parents were out of town, Kana's parents had to attend the funeral. Adrian must put aside his jealousy, this is not the right time to be jealous.

Who knows with Joddy, Kana wants to talk.

"Gue tipped Kana. Please talk to him. Who knows if he'll talk." Adrian looked at Joddy expectantly which Joddy responded to with a faint smile.

Joddy sighed then sat down beside Kana's bed. Placed a bouquet of Kana's favorite lilies on the nightstand next to the fruit basket that Kanda had brought

.

"Your favorite Lily flower Deck." Joddy started talking to Kana. He didn't care even if Kana wasn't looking at him.

"You said before, the most beautiful flower for you is white Lyli. I know the reason. White Lily has philosophical value. Sincere and full of love, like you? Don't ask me where I'm from, just googling. Easy right?" oceh Joddy, unfortunately there is no reaction from Kana. Joddy took a deep breath and grabbed Kana's fingers and held her tightly.

"I know you're hurt. You're devastated by what you're going through, Na. But silence like this will even make your wounds even more proud." Joddy rubbed Kana's cheek with one free hand. "Don't blame yourself, Kana. It's not your fault and no one is blaming you because you've taken good care of your child. You're a good mother." Joddy smiled as Kana reacted by moving her fingers.

"Your son is happy Na. He is the little angel who will draw you to the door of heaven. Your son will be sad to see his mother like this. So, stop blaming yourself and move on. Adrian needs you. Everybody needs you." I also need your smile, Joddy continued in his heart.

"Everyone loves you. They were even sadder to see you like this. Stop blaming yourself. Take away all your sorrow Na. Don't keep it yourself. There are Adrian, Kanda, your friends and your parents who will always hold you. So, cry, baby!" Joddy smiled as Kana's eyes began to move towards him and broke into tears later.

"L-mua. I'm sorry, "weep Kana on the sidelines of her sobs. His shoulders were shaken along with the tears rushing down from his two clear eyes.

"I-I'm sorry," said Kana. Joddy grabbed Kana, hugged her tightly trying to calm her down.

"Cry Cana. Cry."
