Ken's silence

Kenzo, one of the accomplices and confidant of Yudha Lintang Marabahan. He and Yudha knew each other in college. Ken was a younger brother of Yudha, three years under Yudha. He was also Yudha's subordinate while working as an employee at a company, at that time Ken was still second semester. He took part-time jobs as a marketing salesman and Yudha at the time as his Leade, although only one year and Yudha left for London to continue her S2 studies.

When Yudha took office, the staff at their embassy met again. Then after Yudha ascended to a technical attache, Yudha asked him to be her personal assistant. The person whom he trusted to help him in all things. Yudha knew Ken's skills in foreign languages need not be doubted, he mastered English, German and Japanese. And proficient in IT and martial arts.

His reticent attitude made anyone disinclined him. Same with Yudha's character.

Like this incident, at first it was so hard to hear what happened to his boss. But until he saw for himself how his boss was doing, he just believed. He was sure his boss was in good shape.

"Ken, what are you doing here early in the morning?", asked Risa.

"I'm sorry Miss Risa, I'd like to pick up some files that Mr. Yudha kept in his locker, in his study. This file is necessary for the coordination meeting at the office, Mr. Yudha. I was asked to take it"

"Who asked you?"

"A staff member who needed the file, Miss Risa"

"Alright, come with me!"

Risa's headed to Yudha's study on the upper floor. Once at the end of the stairs they turn to the right, down the corridor and then stop at the end. A big locked door. Risa opened the door. Then look for the file in question in the locker.

"Is this what you mean, Ken?"

Ken approached and took the map. Then open it and check it out.

"Yes, Miss Risa. This is what I was looking for. Thank you"

Ken saluted and left the room.

"Ken..."

"Yes, Miss Risa. Is there anything else I can help you with,?"

"You know something about, Brother Yudha?"

"Something about Mr Yudha?"

"Yes, do you know where he is?"

"No, Miss Risa. Isn't the search still being done?"

"It's been almost a month that I haven't had any results. As a believer, you probably know something. Tell me, Ken"

"I'm sorry, Miss Risa. This time I can't help you. Excuse me"

Risa took a long breath. Even if Ken knew something he wouldn't have said it. Ken the most loyal and unfaithful man. And also good at keeping secrets. That's where Yudha's favorite lies with her personal assistant.

"Good morning, Miss Adel"

"What are you doing here?"

"I took some files requested by the ministry staff"

"The file? Ministry staff?"

"really. Excuse me first. Good morning, Miss"

Ken doesn't talk to Adel much. Adel looked at him suspiciously. What Ken is doing.

"What's up, Dek?", said Risa who saw her youngest sister-in-law daydreaming at the end of the stairs.

Adel was surprised to be greeted suddenly, he then approached his sister-in-law and regretted it.

"What's up, anyway? How do you see that horror?"

"So Ken's here, brother!?"

"Yes"

"What do you need?"

"Taking files. The ministry staff asked for it"

"Sister..."

"Isn't it weird?"

"What's so weird?!"

"Ken works for Sister Yudha. He obeyed only Brother Yudha's orders. Let alone the staff, even the minister cannot govern him. This is why the staff can ask him to take the file. That's very unlikely. I suspect he is, brother"

"You're right, Deck. But Ken has always been very trustworthy. He may have betrayed. Risa's suspicious of that, Dek. Brother Yudha alone trusted him very much"
