SHACKLES CHAPTER 6

"Everything used to feel beautiful." He ate his provisions in solitude he tried to get rid of a shadow of the past that will never come back. Memories of the past will only harden in his mind he tries not to re-stir those memories.

"But now that it's all so nauseating, I'm sick of seeing all of you happy faces, just see if you can still smile after this?"

Lia takes her gawai She sees a chat group containing her former friends.

"We'll see how much you care about your friend?"

Suddenly, Lia's phone ringing signifies a call coming into her phone.

"You think I'll just shut up? Look Anna I'll report you for what you've done to me!" maki someone's over there.

"Please wait for you." said Lia meantang, with her trademark smile she seemed to grin.

"Just wait I won't hesitate to report you, even if you're my friend but I won't let you live quietly!" Lia further widened her smile after hearing the curse of the person there.

"Have you finished talking? Now it's my turn to talk. And you heard it all right! put your ears on,"

"I'm not afraid you'll report anything about me, but before you do you're done in my hands I'm just gonna let you go? Not only is it a warm-up. I'm warning you to be more careful when we meet again you're gonna die." Lia knew the people across there must be scared to hear the threat.

"You're crazy really crazy. You're so crazy you're a crazy psychopath!"

"Oh yeah you said I was a friend? Seriously you consider me a friend? Huh didn't I hear wrong? A friend will never let his friend 'lonely and suffering in solitude' oh yes and another one don't call me Anna, my name isn't Anna because Anna is long dead," regardless of the ramblings of the people across there Lia closed the call.

"He thought who Anna was, that name was long dead."

"Promise yes even after graduation we must meet often like this."

"Eh photos first yu." The five girls who were happy on the day of their graduation took pictures and joked with laughter. Let go of High School and start an adult life, a life that has been dreamed of. A life where we can do anything without anyone forbidding.

They are always together the beginning of their togetherness is when they join in the same class that is when class 2 High School. They were both in IPA class until Anna, Annisa, Rista, Erika and Salma graduated, never separated.

After graduation, they are still together, even when they face the failures they face together. However, things begin to change as they face different destinies and they begin to face each other's twists without intervening.

Anna was the only one among those who managed to continue her studies to college. And the four friends chose to work in the same place.

Because they rarely meet only through WhatsApp messages, they often say hello, whether it's chatting with each other, jokingly telling complaints and even mocking each other that they are used to doing. But Anna felt that her friends on campus were not like her friends when she was in High School and she was uncomfortable about it. Anna always thought positively that someday they would be close to each other. But it made him feel lonely.

Anna is an Extrovert but upon entering the campus environment she turns into an introvert. He felt uncomfortable with his classmates so he turned quiet and cold very cold.

Lia was sitting alone in the campus garden she noticed the students, the students who passed by in front of her. They appear to be clustered together laughing, joking, judging, or just sharing food under a shady tree. As for him, just being alone no one accompanied him could not be like before. Now his new life is not the same as when he was in High School why he did not find friends like when in High School.

He felt lonely deep down he also wanted to be like the student he didn't want to be alone but he couldn't do anything. And in the end he did it all by himself.

"I'm lonely." she said.
