108 - Issue IV

"Your Majesty!"

Everyone in the palace courtyard immediately looked at the Emperor. The elder who was fighting Feng Ying earlier directly spoke, "Your Majesty.. There was an intruder who entered the palace. Her.. Uhuk.. Make a scene in this place." He immediately coughed up blood from his wound.

The emperor looked in the direction that the elder was pointing at. There, he saw two young men with one of the people he knew. So, there was no way that the young man he knew was the intruder in question. Thus, he immediately looked at Feng Ying who was still helped to stand by Wang Chen.

Emperor and patriarch Lao walked towards Wang Chen and Feng Ying with the same goal.

"Chen! What the hell is going on?" Patriarch Lao.

Wang Chen stared at his teacher, "G-teacher.. There was a little commotion in this place. Everyone accused Ying of being an intruder."

Patriarch Lao frowned upon hearing his disciple say the name of his friend. He glanced towards the young man who was helped by his disciple. The young man's face was already pale with blood at the corner of his lips. "What do you mean, she's Ying? Chen'er?"

Wang Chen nodded, "Teacher.. Ying is innocent. This commotion started not from him."

Wang Chen told me what he knew. Until finally, patriarch Lao nodded. The Patriarch believed in his words. "I believe you, Chen'er. So now where's the elder you were talking about?"

"General Chu, find my daughter!" The Emperor looked towards the General who had earlier fought Feng Ying.

General Chu Kaili nodded immediately. He felt guilty for not protecting the princess. He saluted, "Your Majesty!"

General Chu Kaili looked at Feng Ying at a glance with a sharp gaze. After that, he immediately left.

The Emperor looked at Wang Chen furiously. He just kept staring with a sharp look at the young man and made Wang Chen lower his head.
