22 - The Former

The atmosphere in the restaurant that night was really unpleasant, like there were auras clashing against each other without being seen in between them. Aluna who feels that this is eating togetherness for what if only secretly.

"Aluna, what's your busy life?." Asked Elena with a soft word.

"I'm still working at the company" Alun said as he looked at Rehan.

"Oh, you work at Rehan's company, I don't think Rehan's gonna let his special people get tired of working" Elena said, pinning a little earshot on the man she's been with.

Aluna heard him choking while he was drinking, while Rehan seemed to hold his fork very firmly, as if he wanted to break it right then and there.

"I think we should go home." Rehan said as he stood up, Aluna raised her head to look at the man's face.

"Why so fast Rehan." Bisma said, while Elena seemed to sit quietly holding back her grief because Rehan wanted to avoid her.

Rehan then reached Aluna's hand to make Aluna immediately stand up.

"There's still plenty of other times, we go home first" Rehan said. Aluna nodded her head at Bisma and Elena because she had not had time to say thank you for her banquet, Rehan had pulled her to immediately get out of the restaurant.
