After the rain all night subsided, now the raindrops covering the leaves fell to the ground.
Rara started her day off relaxed.
Her beautiful eyes, like the sunlight that pierced through the clouds fell into a clear lake. He smiled so sweetly that it made people unable to turn away.
Sitting on the sofa, watching his favorite TV show and on his lap there is a bowl of snacks. What a pleasure!
For almost 5 days and 8 hours, he always worked non-stop. The task is heavy but not too heavy.
While Rara was engrossed in her comfort, Nimas who went to buy breakfast and groceries, had returned.
Nimas was his best friend since childhood. It was a few years apart, but now they are back together with one roof.
"Are you awake? Come and have breakfast." Come here." Nimas said as he placed the plastic bag on the table. "You can eat first; I want to take a shower."
After Nimas left, Rara could smell the vegetable soup that was still warm. It was as if the scent was leading him to sit on the dining table chair and forcing him to immediately
devouring it.
When Nimas finished his bath and returned, Rara had already eaten vegetable soup, the leftovers on the messy table made her inflamed.
Nimas' hygiene science gave him a insistence to force and scowlily said, "Why don't you clean it after eating it?"
"I'm not good at cleaning it.” Rara said indifferently. He took a glass and drank water from the dispenser on the left side of the room.
“You're not a child anymore. You're old! You have to learn for this. If you live at home with your mother-in-law and you're not good at doing homework, I'm sure you'll be kicked out by her!”
Rara spouted out her water and choked. “Pfftt ... uhuk uhuk! You've said that 127 times this month. I'm tired of hearing it.” Rara muttered, "I'm not that old either."
Nimas grazed his waist and looked at him sharply, as if it was a laser beam that could penetrate his body, “If you get tired of hearing it, then you should learn from now on!”
“Ya, yes, yes ... This subordinate understands.” comments Rara while returning to her sitting position. Rara deliberately humbled herself in front of him.
He thought it was pointless to continue arguing about this every day. He just wants to laze around. Rara also had no way to reply to her comments.
A few minutes later, Nimas began to say again. “Oh, looks like there's a letter for you. No, an invitation, an invitation for you.”
Nimas had currently finished cleaning the table and found several letters, including the invitation. The invitation is dark in color but does not degrade the sense of luxury and classic.
Taking the mail in the postbox downstairs is their routine. Well, even though there are non-essential letters such as ball lottery or fund lending services.
“What invitation?” Rara asked while eating a snack on her lap without even turning away. He's not interested in anything right now but TV.
“Err .. here is the invitation for the university reunion. Masquerade Ball.” Nimas thought for a while and suddenly he was given enlightenment, “That's a mask party! Wow, Rara, check this out! It's so cool!”
Because on TV is currently being aired soap ads, Rara began to move from her seat besides she was bored to see the ads, also to please Nimas.
Nimas handed the fancy invitation to her and Rara immediately read it and was stunned.
On the invitation is written the name of the location, the time of the event is complete along with the floor plan of the place. Rara has never participated in any reunion or party. So, after seeing this, he didn't know what to do.
He foolishly looked at Nimas, “Mask party?”
“I told you earlier.” Nimas rolled his eyeballs, “Isn't that cool? You'll wear a dress and a mask and then you'll dance with a handsome prince. Plus, you can do anything when people don't know your true identity. Cool, ‘kan?”
Rara heard and noticed the words of Nimas who was imagining pseudo-imagination. It was as if she was Cinderella who went to a party to meet the handsome prince and had to go home before 12 p.m.
If she is Cinderella, then Nimas is her wicked stepmother.
Haha ...it fits perfectly with his suffering. Rara laughed out loud.
“Why are you laughing? Is there anything funny?” ask Nimas, confused.
“Haha ... My stomach hurts.” Rara laughed endlessly when she thought about it. Keep laughing until tears.
After being quite calm, he started talking, “Sigh .. nothing funny. So, what's your plan? You're coming with me?”
“Of course not. I'm not part of your university. Besides, I don't know your friends either.”
“Hey, didn't you say that our identities won't be revealed because we wear masks?”
“Err. But it would be awkward if I was in di―”
Not finished he commented, his sentence was already cut by Rara, “Come on! There is no harm in you accompanying me.” Rara tried to seduce him by raising her eyebrows together.
“Stop that gaze. You gave me goosebumps!” nimas said as he walked away. He went into the room. A few minutes later he came back out. This time he looks better.
“You'll go out?” Rara asked.
“Yap! I want to find more money today.”
“Be careful. Good luck!” Rara gave her friend a boost.
Being a salesman is not easy. You have to be able to work with the target. Especially if it is an insurance sales. Nimas worked as a salesman two years ago and he still has the same passion.
Maintaining a stable spirit within oneself is difficult, very difficult.
“When did you go to buy the mask?”
Rara shrugged, “I'm not sure. Maybe later this afternoon or tonight.”
“Well I'll be home early so we can go shopping.” after I'm done talking, Nimas is gone, really gone.
