Chapter 42 - Good News

In a dimension of space and time, Su Mian closed her eyes while playing the gum she got from Nemo. Waiting for the soul annihilation yet no sign appeared in the slightest, as if he was truly trapped there forever. Nemo who was feeling sad and desperate saw Su Mian who still looked relaxed.

"Everything has happened, this baby is already alive in my womb. Although this is definitely not my baby, I will still take care of her. The emperor need not worry."

"I'll give you everything you need, whatever you want in this whole world I'll try to get it." Yuan Shi sat on the outskirts of the bed, then Qing Er turned around and looked at Yuan Shi flatly.

It wasn't long before Qing' Er fell asleep and Servant Chun returned to accompany her queen. In the morning, a loud thud omens the good news has been heard aloud. Qing Er rubbed her eyes slowly, then saw some servants had lined up in her room carrying the Queen's official clothes.

"Your Majesty, everyone is already waiting in the imperial hall" said Servant Chun as she saluted.

"Well, Waiter Chun helped me clean up." Qing Er moved then went to the warm water bathing area.

Yuan Shi was preparing with his official clothes, Wu Zetian who was still in his room saw the emperor was no longer there so he immediately searched for information especially he felt he had slept too long. "What festive event?" wu Zetian asked his servant.

"Her Majesty the Queen is pregnant with her first child" the maid replied.

"What's? Qing's sister Er is pregnant?" Wu Zetian's eyes widened, he immediately looked for the queen mother to discuss the matter but it turned out that everyone had already gathered in the imperial hall due to the order from Emperor Yuan Shi.

Inevitably, Wu Zetian directly entered the imperial hall after changing clothes and justifying his appearance. He saw the queen mother standing on equal footing with the emperor, their two eyeballs exchanging with an unpleasant gaze.
