Exchange Body

Exchange Body
A Miracle

They ended the conversation by laying a tired body on the bed. Not a tired body, but a heart. Hearts tired from their own parents.

For a while Albi and Dina were silent without a word. In fact, they just don't move. Until finally, a thought appeared in Albi's mind.

"Dina. Should we move out of here, huh? We bought a new house for us to live in alone. Hows it? Do you agree, honey?"

The question instantly made Medina turn her head towards the side, the place where Albi was lying down.

"What about your mom, Mom? Do you want to leave your mom alone in this house?"

"Mama won't be alone, Dina. There's an aunt who'll accompany you. Since you can't make peace with our relationship, then she must also approve of our departure from this house, right?"

"But, Mas .... "

"I promised to take care of you, Dina. As you said before. Not everyone has a second chance, right? So, I have to make good use of this second chance, Medina."

Medina stared fixedly at Albi's face. There was a sense of happiness in his heart at this moment. Not because of Albi's intention to distance himself from his biological mother, but because of Albi's intention to repair their broken relationship. That makes his heart happy.

"I'll follow what you say, Mom. If that's what's best for you, then that might be best for me, too. So, I'll support whatever decision you make."

"Thank you very much, dear. I promise I'll make you happy."

"Oh yes, how did you respond to the unreasonable request from the mother earlier? Did you reject him, Dina?"

Albi went back to talking about the crazy request his mother made. A request that he himself would also not be willing to agree to now. But I don't know if he's still in his body. Because in the past, he who was blind in the eyes was also blind. Not aware of the lies his mother made. Maybe he'll agree to this crazy request from his mama.

Medina who got the question, immediately shook her head.

"No, Mas. I'm not rejecting what your mother said."

"Lho, why Dina? Why don't you just refuse? Isn't that a big thing you never want to agree to, right?"

"I've never wanted to be in honey, Mom. But that question doesn't make me, does it? But it's for you. I don't know what you want. If I reject it straight away, what if you don't agree with it?"

"Medina what are you saying anyway, honey? Don't talk about anything that doesn't make sense. I am now, not the old me. I'm not stupid anymore. Who would listen to what my mother said without thinking back and not try to find the truth of everything she said."

"In short, I leave all my decisions in your hands. Whatever decision you make, then I will agree completely, Dina. As long as it's best for me, and for you, then I'll never mind." Albi said again by touching the wife's face slowly.

Medina did not answer with the words of what Albi said. Just a small smile that he carved on the corner of his lips, a sign he understood and was happy with what Albi had said just now.

....

Understandably, they are undergoing a different role at the moment. It is not easy for them to get along with people they previously did not recognize. Exchanging the body, the same means by exchanging roles also live. It certainly must be learned very well so as not to mess with the life they are living.

Meanwhile, Dina who seemed to still not be ready to live life as an Albi in public, was sitting with a manyun face. He was thinking about what he would do when he got to the office the next morning.

Working in a place he had never been before. Doing a task he never did. It was the thing that made Dina feel uncomfortable even if she just thought about it.

Meanwhile, Albi who looked at Dina's face and noticed the unease that Dina was feeling. Now directly choose to sit next to Dina on the sofa in their room. He touched the hand of Dina who was now on both thighs gently.

"Dina. What the hell are you thinking now?"

That speech instantly awakened Dina from her daydream. Her manyun face was also trying to hide her quickly.

"Nothing, Mom. Not thinking of anything."

"Who are you lying to? Me? Or you, Dina?"

"Quick say! Don't lie anymore. I know who my wife is." Albi spoke again in an increasingly soft tone.

Dina immediately looked at the two eyes of Albi fixedly.

"I'm nervous, Mom. Very uncomfortable with what will happen tomorrow morning. I'm going to work, so you're in the office. That's .. geez. I can't imagine what will happen to me tomorrow" Dina said with a panicked face while covering her face with both hands.

Albi immediately smiled with the attitude of his wife. His wife was panicking, it made him feel nervous.

"Darling, listen to me carefully." Albi spoke while opening Dina's hands.

"You don't have to be me, honey. You just have to be yourself. Because I believe in the abilities you have, Dina. You can do all that well. Believe me, you are a strong woman. I'm sure you won't let me down."

That speech could not make Dina answer with words. Because she was deeply moved by the spirit her husband gave her. His eyes immediately glazed over her horn.

"Eitc, don't cry. That's my body, baby. Don't forget about it. Don't make me look weak huh," said Albi trying to comfort Dina by switching their conversation away in a jest.

"You are, mas. Disturb me, " said Dina while holding her shame.

Albi immediately pulled Dina into his arms.

"Either until when should we continue like this, Dina. I don't know what we have to do to get us back in each other's bodies. I can't wait to prove to everyone that you're the best wife I've ever had" Albi said, stroking Dina's hair gently.
