Arriving at the Eternal Island

In the morning Franky woke up then took a bath and got ready to go to the Eternal Island.

After bathing and getting dressed, Franky packed the things he would carry including a laptop for writing.

Once all was ready Franky contacted Nurdiana to send the person who would deliver him to the Eternal Island.

A few hours later, someone knocked on Franky's door and Franky opened it.

"Hello, Frank," said a man familiar to Franky. Leon is Nurdiana's niece who is familiar with Franky, their age is only three years and older Franky.

It just so happened that Leon was on college break so he could accompany Franky

"You're the one, Le," Franky said.

"Yes, Frank, I will accompany you during the Eternal Island, I will support you in finding inspiration for your novel" Leon replied enthusiastically.

"Lho, he said an assistant from Mr. Abdul Rozaq who will take me," said Franky.

"It just so happened that Mr. Abdul's assistant was going outside of Frank City, so he couldn't" Leon said.

"Yes, it's cool to be alone, count us on vacation" Franky licked.

"Here, the time of fellow men is cool together, the danger you Fran," said Leon mocked.

"Hahaha .. You're a dirty mind, Le," Franky broke out, while Leon just grimaced feeling misbehaved.

Franky immediately put the items he would carry into Leon's car, then he put his own car into his garage.

Leon drove his car, along the way they both chatted and joked with the excitement of a brother and sister.

"It's a long way, le?" ask Franky.

"Lumayanlah, Fran, takes five hours to travel, because the island is located the last of the other islands," replied Leon.

"Huh? But why must it be the Eternal Island?" wonder Franky.

"On the island is very peaceful Fran, the place is close to the coast, well we can play on the beach if it is saturated, and you also can certainly write calmly without anyone bothering you," said Leon.

"Oh, but is there life?" ask Franky again.

"Obviously there is a dong, there is a village complete with the inhabitants, we can buy what we need, stalls there, food vendors there. Well, across the village there's a forest, but I also don't know what's in that forest, just the trees." Leon explained in detail.

"Are you there, Le? How do you seem to understand the situation there," said Franky.

"I used to drive my friend to the island, he was also a novelist just like you, Fran," Leon said.

"Is he what Abdul told you yesterday?" franky muttered in his heart.

"But by the way, where do you know that place, Le?" Franky was curious.

"Biasalah, his name is also young, roam here and there" licked Leon.

Franky smiled and nodded his head in understanding.

A few hours later Franky and Leon arrived at a place called Eternal Island, when it was noon.

They got into a village and parked their car somewhere.

"Excuse me, sir, is there a small rented house?" leon asked a Father who happened to pass in front of them carrying a sickle because he was about to go to the rice field.

"Are you guys going to contract?" ask the father.

"Yes, sir," they answered simultaneously.

"It just so happens, my house on the back is long empty, the yard is wide enough to be able to park a car as well, I do intend to contract it, yes already, let's come with me, let's follow me, I will show you the place, after that please be contracted or not that important you have seen it" said the father earlier.

"Okay, sir," they both answered.

Franky and Leon walk after the father.

They arrived at a small but clean house, they went inside and looked around.

There are two rooms along with a mattress, a table chair, and a small closet as well, then the living room, the house is really minimalist.

then Franky and Leon gathered in the front room.

"Hows it? Do you like his house? Oh yes, introduce me Yusuf, I only live alone with my son because my wife is dead" said Mr. Joseph introduced himself.

"I'm Leon, and this is my friend Franky," Leon introduced himself.

"We were interested in this rented house, we planned to stay a few months, and my friend was a novelist who happened to lose the inspiration to write, so I drove him to this island with the aim of finding inspiration to be able to write quietly and away from the crowd" Leon said.

"Oh well, if you want to rent this house, please here is the key to the house, and I tell you, never enter the forbidden forest area across the coast there," message from Yusuf.

"What's the matter, sir?" ask Leon curious.

"Already, do not ask much, please just obey the prohibition that I give, do not violate if you still love your lives, you still love your lives, I'm sorry to go to the rice fields so that you can stay here" said Mr. Joseph then took his sickle and left the two men.

"What's up with the woods, huh?" ask Franky.

"Already, just follow the rules that are here, Fran, if we want to survive, maybe the forest is indeed a forbidden forest," said Leon.

"Hem .. yes, yes, yes," said Franky.

"Well, you wait here for a minute, yeah, I'll move my car here" Leon said.

Franky nodded and Leon walked to where the car was parked.

After moving to the front yard of the rented house, Leon went down to bring his luggage and Franky's belongings.

"This is Fran, your suitcase and your laptop, you can arrange it in your room, I will also arrange my stuff in the room, after this we go to eat," Leon said.

Franky nodded then went into his room and arranged his things, which he did, she puts her clothes in the closet and puts her laptop and handycam on the table and Franky takes her handycam and reopens Soraya's videos.

"My wife dear, may you be calm in nature there, I will always remember and send prayers for you, I went to this Island it is not my intention to forget you, I just want to continue my ideals to be a famous novelist, because life must be continued" murmured Franky in his heart.

"Yes my dear."

Franky was surprised to hear a soft whisper in his ear.

"Soraya? You're that?" Franky turned to the left and to the right, but at once the atmosphere became quiet again.

"Ah .. Maybe it was just my feeling, Soraya was already calm in her nature, so there was no way she was following me."

Franky continued to organize his things.

Finished arranging his belongings, Franky knocked on Leon's bedroom door.

"Le let's go eat, I'm hungry" Franky said.

"Yes, Fran, I'll change my clothes for a while" Leon said.

Shortly after, Leon came out.

"Where are we going to eat? ask Franky.

"So I saw the restaurant, where we met Mr. Joseph," Leon said.

Eventually the two men walked towards the restaurant.

When they arrived, they entered.

"Excuse me, ma'am, we want to eat" Leon told the shop's mother.

"Let's go ahead, Mas, what do you want to eat?" ask the friendly shop owner.

"I'm rice just like a shredded egg, ma'am," Leon said.

While Franky ordered rice with fried chicken side dishes and sambal.

The two enjoyed a delayed lunch.
