Warm night, feels cold because of the recent events in Ami. He tightened his arms around Topo's waist, as he drove home. Shivering not only from the cold, he also felt fear.

He knew, Mr. Soemani came home late at night if there was a shipment of copra from outside Java. He saw a series of trains carrying copra through the railway crossing, to the warehouse where Mr. Ami worked.
