Returnees

At 11 pm they arrived at the Shira family's residence. The house, which was usually dark after 10pm, is still bright.

"Assalamu'alaikum.." said Ansel, knocking at the door.

"Wassalamu'alaikum.." Bu Maya's reply was heard while opening the door.

"Shira...., are you okay, son? you all right? no one got hurt?" Bu Maya directly held Shira's cheeks with both hands, she was so worried about Shira's state. Making sure his son was not hurt in the slightest, he kissed Shira's cheek as if he hadn't seen each other for a long time.

Shira nodded and walked towards her room. He lay his body on the bed staring at the ceiling of his room recalling the events that had happened to him. Nor did he expect something like this to happen. In his heart there is pity for Ansel who is now the boss at his workplace. He imagines Ansel's devastated feelings over his mother's death orchestrated by his future wife.

ANSEL POV

Ansel drove his car quite fast, but in the opposite direction to the road to his house. It turned out that he was heading to a bar, and parked his car in a bar that he often visited first.

This man is his old college friend, Ferdian his name, it's been a long time since Ansel decided to get engaged to Vara and leave the night world.
