“GO no, lo! Don't bother him!” Ken's screams greeted us as we entered the cafe area after hearing Melanie's screams.
There, right on the top rung, I saw Melanie crying while covering her face with her palms. Some visitors tried to calm the girl down. While Ken—aku just realized to whom he addressed the scream after following the direction of his vision. Holy hooch! That's the cream-brained female ghost from earlier. The ghost stands not far from Melanie, but Ken puts himself in the middle of the two.
Perhaps realizing I was watching him, suddenly the ghost turned to me. Quickly clean your eyes while making a prayer. Is that the ghost that caused Melanie to cry hysterically like that?
I was about to run towards the crowd when I realized that Karen was still holding my hand.
“Quiet, Ser. Lo stays beside me,” he said firmly while tightening his grip.
I nodded and walked closer to the crowd. Teenage members of the AP club are also still living there. Eve panicked creeping, adding to the crowded impression on the cafe. After Karen and I arrived near Melanie, the ghost disappeared.
“What's Mel? So why yell?” karen asked worried.
“There....,” Melanie points to where the ghost was. He sobbed with trembling hands. “So there's a broken face chick yelling at me!”
“There was a disturbance earlier. Melan shocked,” said Ken calm. “But we're gone. It's okay.”
The word ‘not anything’ that Ken threw did not necessarily make Melanie calmer. Aware of Karen's presence, the girl immediately released her hands from her face and hugged my best friend. “Ren. I'm not lying. I actually saw a girl with a broken face standing on my deck. He screamed so hard in my ears. I'm scared, Ren!”
“Yes, we know you're not lying. Calm down. There was nothing.” Karen tried to calm down.
This time, I let the girl cry in Karen's arms. He must have been really surprised. I admit, the ghost's face was indeed very creepy— with a half-damaged face and a sharp gaze that unsheathed. Its mouth is wider than the size of a human mouth with a long jaw. With such a stooped body, his jaw looked as if it was dangling down with his long, tangled hair. It would have been better if the ghost had kept its head down, so that her sinister face was invisible. I exhaled, stroking Melanie's hair.
“He won't dare bother you again, Mel. Yes, you are calm.”
While circulating my gaze, I realized that some people were still looking at us with strange looks. I'm just being weird. However, when I suddenly squeezed my finger, I was immediately flabbergasted. Kulirik. Karen had been holding him since. People should look at us with that kind of look.
They must have thought, besides being weird for having made their dinner interrupted, there was a love triangle between me, Karen and Melanie. Just be right! I let go of my hand. My best friend seems uncomfortable with my treatment. I returned his gaze with a smile as sweet as possible. His face displayed an expression I did not understand. Fortunately it did not last long, because then Karen was busy apologizing to some visitors who seemed disturbed by the commotion that occurred. Karen knows how to get along well. Naturally he is trusted as the chairman of OSIS who is known to be wise.
Meanwhile, Ken was folding his hands in front of his chest looking at Melanie who was slowly starting to calm down. “Mel, like you were again shocked, yes,” comments with a tone of wonder. “The ghost was directly nyamperin lo without my perfect prediction. Lo must be bengong deh, so the ghost immediately ngisengin lo. Is that so surprised to see Karen? It's like speechless. Ghosts usually will not be prank until like that without cause.”
I couldn't help myself and hit Ken's arm. His outrageous mouth can never be braked. “You're all right, Ken. People are scared even called!”
Ken grimaced softly. “Gue is just it, Ser.”
Unexpectedly, Melanie suddenly let go of her embrace and stared at Ken with a flat look. “I want to go home!” cetususya. His eyes still radiated a clear fear.
Ken's not affected. He relaxedly shrugged his shoulders. “Sorry. I didn't mean to offend.”
“OK, we go home now.” Karen took the vote. “Fear of kemaleman too. Later look for your order.”
Ken chuckled flatly. “Who wants to see me too. Oh yeah, Ren, how are you? No abominations?”
“We lost track,” I said, then turned to Karen. “Ren, You go to the motor only first with Melan. Let me be the same Ken who took our stuff.”
“Lo is okay?” Karen looks worried. His eyes were on Ken.
I shook my hand to calm him down. “Nothing. Abis grab the goods, I'm the same Ken directly followed you.”
“Oh yes, instead of us here want to meet the AP club that was?” Ken interrupted, “Why don't you ask first about adek lo to them? Who knows if you have additional info.”
Sometimes I'm amazed by Ken. Amidst any precarious situation, he always remembered his goal clearly. His mind never affected anything. Evidently, his words were efficacious. Karen is starting to look worried. If there wasn't Melanie, I'm sure Karen would've been here and there doing something useful for her investigation.
“I want to go home, Ren!” whine Melanie while tugging at Karen's shirt sleeves. Her fear grew. “I don't want to stay here longer. That ghost must have chased me again! Let's go home now!”
I understand what kind of fear Melanie is feeling. So, even though the whining seemed annoying and troublesome, I did not oppose his will to leave immediately.
“Kalo so, let me ask the same AP club,” bargain me fast. I have something to make sure of myself.
Karen and Ken turned to me.
My proposal was directly overwritten by Ken. “OK. If I come along. All take goods.”
Karen still looks worried. I know he doesn't trust Ken.
“We won't be long, Ren.” I put on a big smile while patting Karen on the shoulder. “Udah there spit. Poor Melan.”
Karen exhaled heavily, then reluctantly nodded. “OK. I'm the same Melan wait in the parking lot ya.”
“Okay, bye, Karen.” Ken's voice sounded clearer. That guy's pulling me impatient.
“Ser!” Karen's call stopped my steps. “Still a lot ya.” He smiled, then turned to Ken. “Jagain Serena Yes, Ken.”
Ken tilted his head for a moment. “Gue captain team lo. When am I not confident?!”
After waving, Ken and I went back to our table to pick up the items that were still left behind.
“Lo feels something strange, Ser?” ask Ken suddenly.
I raised my face after attaching Melanie's bag to my shoulder. “All this makes no sense,” my frustration er.
Ken pulled up the chair and sat down. His forehead is crinkling deep. “Gue seriously. If you see directly what happened earlier, you must also understand the same thing.”
I was affected too. “What's the problem ?”
“Melanie.” Ken tapped his chin. “The girl is weird.”
“The strange thing is not Melanie, but this incident! Karen was sure that the girl who ran was Kinan. While we both know that Kinan—hantunya, is in school. Ghost, Ken! For God's sake, THE GHOST! So, which do you think we should believe? Our inner eye, or the sticky eye on this face?!”
Ken immediately got up as soon as he saw me walking away leaving him with half a jerking step. “OK,” Embedded. “It was also one of the strangest. But I think Melanie's a little weird. You don't know yes, I have special skills for detection of suspicious things?”
I looked up, and then looked straight at him. “So, what did you think of earlier?”
Ken shrugged his shoulders. “Without how Melan's reaction to the girl he said Kinan, I was clearly suspicious. And about the girl who ran earlier .. there's no way she's Kinan. We saw Kinan himself as a ghost, right? Obviously someone deliberately designed this to make the opinion that Kinan is still alive and again avoids his family.”
Unfortunately I disagree. “Kalo I think you could be wrong.” Ken knitted his eyebrows.
“Remember the astral project that we talked about?” I asked, then continued, “Kalo with his ability Kinan can explore as he pleases, can only what we see in the school is not the ghost of Kinan, but his spirit who again traveled through the astral project. Could be, who ran from Karen was the real Kinan.” []
