Dusk In Eye Pelupuk

Dusk In Eye Pelupuk
The little voice of Jenaira.

The dawn slowly came, the cold air made anyone more comfortable under the thick blanket. The small body was so, the cold made his hands miss the warm blanket. However, reaching out with both eyes tightly closed, Jena did not find the object she was in need of.

Almost the woman gave up and opened her eyes to wake up, suddenly the body felt warm. The soft blanket had re-embraced her body.

"Is that your sleeping habit? you drop this blanket, obviously you feel cold," gently, Agam tidied up the blanket that had perfectly covered his wife's entire body.

The two brown eyes were staring straight, in the dim lights of their room back together"Te. thanks," he said stammered.

"Hem.

Jena pulled the blanket higher and higher, covering almost her entire face. Leaving both eyes still staring at her broken husband"What are you doing here?."

"It's time for dawn prayers, I intend to wake you up but it turns out you've woken up first," pulled a chair and took a seat there. Jena was forced to settle down, and quickly combed her messy hair with fingers.

"Y!!! I am still very sleepy" he cried.

"Go clean up, we pray dawn together."

"Cleaned themselves? shower you mean?," her great-grandson was very slow with a hoarse voice.

"Ehem!!!," Jena tried to neutralize her voice"You mean I should take a shower? at this cold dawn???."

"It is not necessary, it's just that it would be better if you take a shower first before performing dawn prayers" he explained while looking for his favorite peci.

"Oooo," Jena just rounded her mouth but did not get out of bed.

Aware of the absence of movement of the wife, Agam who had gotten what he was looking for took a seat on the edge of the bed.

"Why stay quiet, you don't want to pray dawn with me?."

Swallowing the saliva first, Jena again cleared her throat before speaking"Ehem....,"

"Hem??."

"I'm coming by the moon" he said in a single breath.

"Oh," at once Agam became clumsy, not only himself, Jena was the same. Didn't expect something like this would be the subject of their conversation.

While confirming the location of the peck"Yeah, you go back to rest," the man left in front of Jena. Go back to the clothes room and roll out the alphabet there.

Sayup-sayup Jena heard Agam chanting a short surah, right said Zafirah, the rhythm really makes opium. Remembering the Surah Ar-rahman who began in his tribe, there was a desire to hear Agam chant the surah.

Back in the lying position, Jena waited for Agam to finish.

After carrying out his duties, Agam again stepped toward Jena"What do you see?," said Agam sitting on the edge of the bed.

Returning to self-occupation, Jena also returned to tidying up strands of hair that felt messy for him. For some reason since the wedding, he felt he had to always be neat in front of Agam.

"I just found out...you have a sweet voice.a___I heard you read a short surah during prayer earlier," he was surprised because the man helped slip strands of hair dangling it. Tuck the hair gently into her earlobe.

"So, do you want to hear my voice again?."

It was adorable in Agam's eyes. the small nod, the fierce lady was suddenly docile when faced with him this time.

Smile warmly"After your great hadas is completed, you will hear me chant the short verses more often in our congregational prayers."

In response to that, Jena seemed to dissolve in her own daydream. I don't know when the last time he established prayer, whether he still remembers the reading that must be recited in prayer. Knowing how good Agam was in worship, immediately Jena felt small. So, should he be with Agam???

"Agam, look." while cross-legged breathing heavily, Jena paused the words she was about to say to him.

"Isn't the soul mate like a mirror??" he continued.

"You, a man with a strong stock of religious knowledge, while I was." the woman seemed to shake her head. She was ashamed of her attitude away from God all this time.

"Jenaira Ahmad, are you looking for a loophole in our marriage?."

"Not so, you and I are so much different from. You, a gentleman, I am sure you never leave your prayers, you are also good at chanting the holy verses of the Qur'an, your knowledge in the field of religion is also quite mature. How's my? I still read the Holy Quran. And those short surahs, there's not much I've done outside my head."

"Continue," said Agam listening carefully as Jena paused again.

"Honestly, I even forgot when was the last time I started praying," her great-grandson bent her face.

He looked at that beautiful, downcast face"So, because there are so many differences between us, you doubt the marriage that has taken place between us?."

"Yes, our marriage breaks the term mate is a reflection of that self," he replied still in a cross-legged position on the bed.

"Hem...quite strange, do I have to find out who created such a term" said Agam makes Jena raise next to his eyebrows.

As if understanding by asking Jena"That term makes you doubt our marriage. Ck! really, I don't like people who make that term" he said like someone sulking.

"Hey, don't blame anyone else."

"Well, I won't blame the creator of the term, but, do you also know a phrase that love is complementary??."

"Yes, I know that too. So then???."

"That's how you should interpret a soul mate, we don't have to be the same for the sake of being together, we just have to understand each other and complement each other. It is not your fault for coming to me with immature religious knowledge, that is why God has outlined us in a circle of soul, leaning on me Jena.....I'll teach you everything you don't know or you can forget."

The warm feeling really has reached the heart of Jena's heart, so passionate that the man assures how a soul mate is never misguided. But...."You're too good for me Agam," his his hiss trembled. The fear came back, almost feeling the love of the man on the first day of their household, Jena was really afraid to feel the pain left behind.

"You might laugh when you hear me read the divine words," he continued, sounding desperate.

"May I hold you, Jena?."

"For???."

"For you to hear my beating heart right now, I love you very sincerely. Don't be discouraged, I do accept you with all your shortcomings, Jenaira," slightly opened both arms, his gaze getting into the eyes of the brown woman.

Once hesitating, moving forward to get closer to Agam, Jena finally entered in the young man's arms. On the edge of the bed, the two people hugged each other, although it was shaking now the big fingers were clutching the small body of the wife very tightly. And really, the heartbeat in there is very loud, fishing the red hue on the earlobe to spread on his face.

"So, behind this calm face there is an abnormal heartbeat inside there," said Jena releasing a hug until they looked back.

Agam is only able to pocket the lips, making both dimples back printed clearly.

"Abdillah Agam pratama, would you like to be my girlfriend?" a question that made Agam round both eyes.

"Our marriage just happened, I don't even know about you. Before we move deeper into our household, can we date first? at least I want to get to know you better before I actually become my husband?."

The line of smiles rose up, the two eyeballs exuded a deep happiness. It can be said, Agam's heart is flowering because it was shot in love by the woman of his tribe.

"Yes, I'm willing to be your lover Jena," put the little body back in her arms. Finally Agam can breathe a sigh of relief, the door of the woman's heart has been slightly opened to his.

To be continued...
