Dusk Edge

Dusk Edge
Ghost Class

Saturday morning was so cool, not many students were present today. Only students/i who follow the school only come to school. Although not as much as on an ordinary day, the atmosphere of the school feels warm because many students do activities both indoors and outdoors. There was a happy cry from the broadcast room where the broadcasting exkul gathered, they sounded so happy.

"Thank God, there's finally an email coming in." Sienna delight.

"Alhamdulillah, finally someone wants to give confidence to us to tell the story again, even though only one person." Talia embraced Sienna tightly.

"Hopefully more and more people will believe in us and tell us about the experience here, yes" said Luan with a sincere smile. That morning there were only the three of them, because Rigel had not been able to join them. His feet are still not healed.

They read the email together to make sure it wasn't a spoofed email.

Horror spread just like that, even though the sun was still shining brightly. The storyteller this time around was their age, adding to the sense of connectedness it felt so much. After reading the email they remembered they had not uploaded their broadcast on the voice application. It took an hour to upload their broadcast.

The time has shown at 15:30 means that the long-awaited moment that the clock home has arrived. Members of the broadcasting crew rushed to pack their goods into the bag and prepare to go to the broadcast room, it did not feel it was already Thursday time to re-broadcast the broadcast program of the Twilight Bank.

Before they start broadcasting they first check the data analysis of the broadcasts they have uploaded in the voice application. They did not expect to get many listeners on their first broadcast. There were 100 listeners and some signs of heart, but no one commented on their broadcast.

"Ih, Seneng really someone heard our broadcast." Sienna gleefully pointed at the cell phone screen belonging to the broadcasting exkul.

"Some one is also heart-felt." Talia is no less excited.

"That means that the broadcast today Luan is the same as Talia yes," said Sienna.

"Cie, Luan broadcast this." Temptation of Rigel on Luan.

"Become." Luan was shocked when she heard that statement.

"Yes, Thursday I was with Sienna. Now it's your turn to Talia, change dong." Rigel gave an explanation.

Hearing that statement Luan and Talia could not refuse this task, and were forced to carry it out.

The time is almost right at five in the afternoon, that means it is time for the Twilight Bank to air. Luan and Talia started putting on their headphones, their faces tense. Luan started to turn on the microphone in front of her slowly.

"Sampurasun, wilujeng sonten Baraya Kata. Sepang deui and Radio Sora 44.4 FM. Kumaha damang Baraya Kata? See you again in the Tepi Dusk program that will keep us all for the next 30 minutes. With me Luan and Talia will be your storymates this afternoon."

"Today we will tell you about the school horror experience sent by Teteh Mita to the Tepi Dusk email. This experience is still very imprinted in the memory of Mita tea, because it has not been long. Curious about his story? We'll hear the story."

Talia looked slightly trembling, the broadcast script she was holding seemed to tremble. However, he tried to stay calm and started turning on the microphone.

"A hot Friday afternoon, makes me angry. I want it to feel like these eyes are closed, drowsiness as if swaying in my eye bags. But my drowsiness must be withstood because as a student of class X one of SMK Negeri I am required to follow the children, while other students perform Friday prayers.

It doesn't seem fair to me, why is it that only X class is required to follow a child? If we get caught ditching, we'll get punished. That day I felt so lazy to follow the daughter, I intended to pretend to be sick. But it seems like the other students are thinking the same as me because I see the UKS is full, all the beds are filled.

Not out of sense I asked my friend to fill my absence, while I would sleep in the library. At the time, I felt it was the best plan I had ever made. But the choice I made was wrong.

I walked as usual to enter the library, because if it settles it will make me look suspicious. At that time I did not see the presence of the library guard's mother, maybe was taking a lunch break?

It's good then that I don't have to worry about the questions that will be asked by him. I hurriedly stepped onto the leftmost bookshelf, for it was a place rarely visited. I picked up a book thick enough to cover my sleeping face. I slept for a long time, and woke up because my phone kept shaking.

Apparently it was my friend who sent me a message, telling me to keep quiet in the library because the next subjects of my class will be studying in the library. I was quite happy that there was no need to go back to class, I kept the tome back in its place.

As I looked around I saw many children reading books very seriously, strangely they were all pale. It felt like their faces were so foreign to me, there was not a single face I recognized. I don't know why I wanted to ask who they were. I thought, maybe they're the same age as me from another major I've never seen before.

My school library is indeed spacious, so it is enough for several classes at once. The seat is also lesehan with a carpet that is quite comfortable in my opinion. Since we were both in the library in the same learning hours, it's possible that our classes would be combined I thought. I tried to greet one of them, anyway if later our class will be united, should we not get acquainted? But he ignored me.

Perhaps my voice was not clear, I approached him and asked, "What class are you?" Again there is no answer. I repeated my question, and still he didn't even flinch. Undesperate I repeated my question again, but in a louder voice. Simultaneously they all lowered the books covering their faces staring and glaring at me. With white eyes and small black pupils, their eye veins tightened as if they were about to pop out. Their lips began to look widened, they all grinned at me.

Cold sweat began to pour from my body, my body felt very weak, even though I did not want to just stay silent. Anyway I gotta get out of here. I tried to retreat slowly using my hand as soon as the person in front of me held my foot. My heart almost fell out. He brought his face closer to me and said "Hantom Class!" while laughing giggling until his mouth almost torn. I don't know exactly what happened next. What is certain is that I woke up in the UKS, said my friend I was found by them sitting in front of the bookshelf with unconscious eyes bulging and then fell to the floor.

My body felt crumpled, for the rest of the day I could only lie in a UKS bed, finally I could sleep in the UKS even though it was not in accordance with what I expected." Talia gave her thumbs up tremblingly indicating that the story she was carrying was finished. Rigel and Sienna then slowed down the backsound and re-amplified the volume of Luan's microphone.

"So that's the story of Mita Tea, scary and makes heart gymnastics yes. Thank you to Teh Mita who has entrusted us to tell her story. And make those who still like to skip the children, sure you still want to skip? It did not feel like almost 30 minutes of Twilight Bank accompanied Baraya Kata ya. For Baraya Kata who wants his story to be told in the Twilight Bank like Teh Mita can directly send the story to our email

Soratepisenja@gmail.com thank you see you next week, Assalamualaikum."

Luan turned off the microphone and removed her headphones. Greeted by the applause of Sienna and Rigel who were very proud of his friends who were already struggling.

"You guys are great, really cool." Sienna patted Luan and Talia on the shoulder proudly.

"I swear, crazy is so cool." Rigel added. Luan and Talia felt very happy getting such praise they both blushed.
