Dusk At Ufuk Malacca

Dusk At Ufuk Malacca
Chapter 17

One by one, many have returned home because the case has been completed or only mild cases. I became a little relieved because that way my responsibilities were a little reduced.

But it only lasted for a while because many came. Even soaring drastically, forced some to be moved to Our Home. There is a staff managing it.

Often every move comes into conflict. They assume that I was the one who chose it, but the one who chose was the related staff. Many became dislike even so much as to hate me. Not infrequently there are also those who secretly want to bring me down.

I don't know, I didn't think about it much. I just run errands that sometimes get pressured too. That's the risk of working, just seeming easy to others.

Saturday is a schedule to check the food warehouse. Not to forget I also made a list of items or food that has been used up. Earlier this morning the relevant staff asked me to immediately make a report.

When I finished, I immediately rushed towards the Staff room. He then agreed and signed the papers I gave him.

Returning from the Staff room, I continued my other duties tirelessly. Although sometimes I still get scathing criticism for making mistakes.

At exactly 7pm I went back to the Shelter. Immediately I cleaned up and prepared to accompany the relevant Staff for Shelter shopping. As for the Shelter, there was already the chairman of each room guarding against any commotion.

I also went with him. We shopped at the Kuchai Lama Wholesale Market. I quickly ran to pick the items that fit the list hoping to quickly get to the Shelter.

Now there are 3 large trolleys of various Shelter items. Enough to stock up for a week. Drowsiness was gone because I could see the scenery and breathe fresh air.

At 3am I arrived back. All the stuff is still in the car, so I have to wake up all my friends to pick up the groceries except for those who are sick.

I ran towards the shelter through some empty rooms. Although I look evil in their eyes, but I'm actually a coward.

I knocked on the door many times but no one woke up. I finally grabbed my shoes to knock on the door while shouting loudly.

Do not forget they clean fish and vegetables so as not to rot later. As for dry food can be directly entered the warehouse.

After everything was done, I locked the stock of the warehouse. I often fell asleep in the barn, but this morning I went to my room because I was not feeling well.

Some of the other friends went back to their rooms while the one who got the cooking pickets had to stay in the kitchen.

Sunday is the schedule for cleaning all the rooms. It seemed that the head of the room woke the others up to wake up immediately.

I woke up also hearing their screams but my body seemed to have a fever. Mak Yati fingered my forehead and immediately took the coins. He scraped me with eucalyptus oil.

I went back to sleep while the others continued to clean the room. No one dared to wake me, Mak Yati told the others that I had a fever.

I fell asleep without knowing any other Staff came to the Shelter this morning. Suddenly, the water washed my face. I was so surprised that he even uttered such hurtful words. He doesn't even believe the reason I'm saying.

I don't know, I was so sick to hear that. Many times I have heard scathing criticism but only this time it was so painful.

As soon as I ran to the barn, I locked the door so no one would come in. I was crying in it. I didn't mind Mak Yati's knock. This is the only place that makes me feel comfortable.

I don't know how long I've been crying, I don't even feel like I'm asleep. A hand caressed my hair but it felt very cold. He even sounded like he was saying thank you.

When I opened my eyes, there was no one near me. There's only a refrigerator and everything else. Maybe I was just dreaming.
