Duda Boss

Duda Boss
Chapter 42

Hi. I'm back again. He forgot the vote and the Rating 5.

Happy reading...

🍁🍁🍁

"Of course," he said. "I wanted to forbid you from calling a doctor. It seems to have been long. And damn it again Bagas is already here."

I frowned. Looks like something's weird. I stared at Bagas from Doni's arms. He just kept his right index finger on his lips. Bagas asked me to be quiet.

"Oh!" my gamaku sounded awkward in response to Doni's mas statement.

Mas Doni took off his embrace and looked at me inside.

"I really want to surprise you..." I raised an eyebrow, "honeymoon of the end of the month." Mas Doni grabbed both my hands and rubbed them slowly.

I looked at him in wonder. We have planned this honeymoon. Without him giving me any surprises I already knew. But I just nodded.

"Hmmm, end of month .. we're going on honeymoon. End of the month!" the promise.

I bit my lower lip. Why is Doni? I was looking for a gap to look at Bagas but he was blocked

by the body of Mas Doni. Again I can only nod with all the questions and worries.

"Go now, Boss?" Bagas patted Doni's shoulder, "we're too late."

"OKAY. Just a minute." Then Doni looked at me again. "We go first, yeah. Bagas has been so chatty lately." Then he laughed.

I laughed with my forced face and tone.

They then stepped right past me. But Doni stopped his steps and turned around.

"So did you forget?" my many.

"I prepared everything. If there are no obstacles, at the end of the month we will go on a honeymoon" said Mas Doni with a big smile. "You're going to love the one I chose."

I'm sculpting. I feel a little shaken to realize that Doni's mas is repeating everything he's said before. As if he doesn't remember all that.

"Wait for me at home" he said as he hurried over to Bagas who was waiting for him in the doorway.

Mas Doni was close to reaching the doorway, when his footsteps came to a halt.  He stood behind me with Bagas standing before him.

"Love ...," he hissed.

"Yes," I stuck on Doni's back, "had forgotten?" I repeated the same question. Prepare yourself if the Doni mas will repeat the request he has called before.

"You must be tired of listening to me keep repeating my words." His shoulders dropped slightly after saying that sentence. "Just ignore everything."

Then Doni stepped quickly, passing Bagas who was still in the doorway.

I looked at Bagas with teary eyes. Something's wrong with Doni. I'm sure Bagas knows.

Bagas smiled faintly with a concerned look. After that, it just passed leaving me alone.

I'm sure there's something Mas Doni's hiding.

I stared at the table on my right side. A chocolate envelope with a secret stamp was still lying there.

I'm suspicious. There must be an answer in that envelope. I have to find out.

Curiously I circled the table, walking to the opposite side.

Pigura with a picture of us both smiling is still on the table. My heart warmed to see it.

I grabbed the brown envelope, my hand moved open slowly. But at that time netraku capture the sequence of sentences on the laptop and bring closer the view to the monitor screen.

My forehead crinkles when I read what's written there. Mas Doni wrote a list of the closest people he should not forget.

There seems to be an unfinished word. Did he fall before he finished his sentence?

I imagined Doni's mas activities before he fell.

When finished with his work, Doni drank coffee. There was still an unfinished coffee cup and also a stack of files located on the table. And then he went back to writing on his laptop.

Did he fall astray before I entered the room? I didn't find him because he was lying around without a sound?

I smothered my mouth with my right palm. I'm a little dim. I use my left hand to grip the height of the table to keep my body balanced.

Was Mas Doni in so much pain that he was unable to make a sound? Until I decided to leave the room he was only able to let out a groan?

Or did Doni faint?

It doesn't make sense, if it's just exhaustion. And stupidly why I know now.

I ran a little bit out of Mas Doni's room. Grabbing the phone in the bag in a hurry.

With trembling hands. I failed several times to open the call book. I finally found Bagas' name.

I immediately pressed the call button to connect with Bagas. I'm very worried right now with the Doni mas. Bagas must know something.

My call was immediately picked up.

"Dude!" Call me fast even Bagas has not had time to say hello.

"I'm sure you know something. You should be honest! What happened to Doni?!"

"Bagas," call me a little stern. "I'm his wife, I should have known about my husband's condition."

"Boss, Doni's sleeping, Mba."

I waited.

"Stay beside her, Mba Sinta. He needs someone to keep motivating."

I held onto Gago, speechless.

"Hopefully he can last even longer" Bagas continued in a soft tone.

Suddenly I felt pain in my chest. My hands started shaking.

"You're talking to someone?"

The sound of Doni!

"No, Boss .. You just continue the break. We'll be there soon."

"I'm beginning to forget. Sinta ...."

Tutttt....

Call's disconnected. When I tried to call Bagas again, his number was suddenly inactive.

I rubbed my face with my palm. Breathe out slowly. I have to think clearly. Doni will be fine. He works out almost every day, he eats well and is fit. He never looked sick.

But Bagas's words kept spinning in my head. Bagas asked me to stay by Doni's side. And he probably can't wait for me.

With a giant step I headed for the elevator that would take me down to the ground floor. My steps stopped before I reached the elevator. I remember mama.

Does anyone in Doni's family know about the changes in his son?

Back in the bag, I picked up my phone and called my mom. Who knows you know something about Doni's mas.

My call was at angakt during the third ringtone.

"Hallo, Sinta," Mama said hello across the street.

"Ma ...," I sighed to muffle my slightly quivering voice.

I can't make my mom panic.

"What's Sinta?"

"I just want to ask, does Doni's mas during this time have a disease?"

"none. Doni takes care of his health. Why why?"

Mama doesn't know.

"Ah, no ma. I just want to know. So that I know more about Doni's mas."

After a bit of stale talk I closed the call.

Bagas and Doni are now sitting next to each other in a specialist neurologist's room, to perform an examination.

"Didn't I tell you to check your head immediately" Bagas said as he turned toward Doni.

Bagas felt this human next to him was extremely stubborn. Actually Doni already knew something was wrong with the fist. But he refused to check on her.

"Andi (Neurologist) said he called you yesterday."

Doni lifted his head and smiled faintly, "I forgot if he asked to meet, in contact I only gave him the name N."

N, which means Andi Neurolgist.

"Again ... they will surely give a verdict I will die soon." Doni exhaled slowly as if he knew the illness he was suffering from.

"At least you know what disease is in your head. It would be better if you still had a life expectancy." Bagas leaned his body and folded his hands to the front of his chest.

Doni turned blank towards the wall, "His headache is severe," Doni looked up to hold back his tears from coming out. "And I don't want Sinta to know my condition."

Suddenly Andi went inside. Making Bagas and Doni look at each other.

Andi sat down and put down the CT scan.

"I've seen the CT scan." Andi sighed a little hesitating to speak. "There's a tumor on your head."

Doni rubbed his face with his palm, bowed to hear Andi's words. He knew he would soon die.

"There is still a possibility before the tumor develops into cancer." Andi smiles.

Doni raised his head feeling interested in Andi's words.

"But it'll all work out if you can work together."

Seriate...
