Dream Scratches

Dream Scratches
Prologues

Do you like something?

Some kind of hobby?

Then, what do you consider it?

As entertainment?

Just filling up on free time?

Or maybe.. dreams?

Yep. Dreamlike.

Just like this little girl with short hair. Keep scraping the tip of the wooden pencil over the blue-covered drawing book. Sitting in the classroom ignores the noise around. His obsidian black eyes were only fixed on the thin lines that formed a pattern.

His fingers were so good at playing pencils. Occasionally reach for the eraser to tidy it up. Without realizing it one of his friends saw his habit.

"Well! What are you drawing again, Din?"

Dina was slightly stung, but she turned her head in excitement. The corners of his lips were attracted, displaying his white teeth that were lined up. The wide smile that Dina used to show when someone was interested in her image.

"Hihihi secret." said Dina while sticking an index finger on her lips.

"Ih! Keep the secret everything! Eh but, what if the picture kayak really easy? I want your kayak too!"

"Eat him drawing often! I can do it for a long time too!"

"Huf! Want me to draw often also the worst result. Instead of wasting time learning to pinter!"

Dina giggled amusedly and said, "Yee, just try not to say ugly."

"That fact..."

"Hehehe... Whatever!"

Seeing the behavior of his friend who was now walking towards the crowd Dina chuckled softly. He continued his activities by adding other lines.

Over time the scratches became thick and clearly formed a cartoon character. From the body posture still looks stiff, his face was not too similar, for the costume was not given any details. Although a little disappointed because it is not similar to the real character, Dina is still happy to remember there are no classmates who can draw as well as she is.

Not meant to be arrogant but indeed in the field of drawing Dina the most superior. Therefore Dina tried to improve her ability to draw much better and then her work will be recognized by everyone.

His dream is to be able to create cool animated characters.

A pleasant shadow.

When the bell rings. All the occupants of the class who had gathered everywhere dispersed themselves instantly. Heading to each table and immediately pack the goods then vying through the door. No matter if there is urgent or nudged that is important immediately out of school to do the things they have planned, such as that of elementary school children.

While Dina looks relaxed packing and does not want to be pushed or trampled there. What good is crowd? It would just be a drain on energy, for Dina. When it was quite quiet Dina held a bag and carried a picture book in her hand and then went home peacefully.

Dina spurred the bike quickly in order to show her work as soon as possible. So far the best picture among many of his drawings is the one he is holding. And this is the first time Dina will show it to you and Mom. Somehow their response, will he be praised?

Thinking of that Dina blushed in embarrassment. There was a pink tinge adorning both of his chubby cheeks. With the spirit of 45 Dina increased the speed to get home soon.

10 Minutes passed.

"If you can't pay the debt, don't go into debt! So we're the losers! I've been given a loan, it can still be done!" snapped two large-bodied men who looked angry.

"M-sorry Sir! B-but now we don't have any money." Even my body shakes when I talk.

"Reason! Yesterday also said so! You are the ones who do not want to instill! If you can't pay off why debt?! Poor is poor! Do not keep the debt unpaid!"

Dina flinched in shock. Her tears flowed non-stop. Those two guys look really bad. The fear that spread throughout Dina's body made her continue to stand stiffly in the doorway.

"Bu-not so sir! Soon we'll b-pay."

"Huh! Immediately... Immediately... Just look! The day after tomorrow we will come again! And by then it should have gone! Understood?!"

Mother nodded in the middle of the sobbing. The two men turned around making Dina startled and dropped her picture book. They walked towards Dina, as if the hand was trying to reach her.

"Surge!!"

Dina was pushed out and fell. They passed by just like that and without caring about stepping on the image of Dina who was in her place standing earlier.

The white paper containing a work is now a dirty shabby paper with large footprints. Dina's heart ached to see it. But now what is more important is the situation of the Father and Mother. Then Dina got up and approached them.

Mom is asking Dad to help her sit in the chair. Soon Dina took the medicine for the wound and gave it to Mom.

The trail of tears Mother is still very clear as well as the wound of the Father. Sometimes Mom is as excited in the middle of smearing the medicine. Dina is crying. Crying in silence. Subduing her head looked at the falling tears touching the hand that squeezed the red skirt.

Finished treating Mother asked Father to rest in the room. Mother intended to memapah but rejected subtly by the Father, she wanted Mother to calm her daughter who might be shocked by the incident. With a staggering step Father went to the room, leaving behind Dina and Mother who were sitting on a wooden chair. Mother rubbed both of her cheeks then shifted to sit closer to Dina.

"Dina.." call Mom hoarse but still feel soft.

Dina quickly rubbed her cheeks and eyes and looked up at Mom.

"Dina don't be afraid. Mom and Dad can pay off that debt. So Dina would never see anything like this again," Mother's sentence ended with a warm smile that calmed Dina down.

"Well, how will they come again?"

"Yes... I gave them money to pay off the debt. Then they won't come again."

Dina dived into eyes that resembled her. I wish there were no lies there.

"Dina. If Dina has grown up Dina must be a successful person huh! For now learn first diligently. If Dina is smart Dina can be a successful person and Dina's life will be good. Dina can also help Mom and Dad later. Wanna?"

Dina nodded immediately. To help Mom and Dad, he must be successful. Mother's words were embedded in Dina's heart. He was determined from now on Dina would focus on learning and being a great person so that people like them could not trample on her family. A smile rose on Mom's face seeing Dina was no longer afraid.

"Mom come in first. I want to take care of you, pity your face hahaha.." said Mother with a light laugh.

Dina laughed a little. After Mom's back disappeared, Dina stood up and walked towards the door. Bend slowly and pick up the drawing paper. He stared at the shabby paper softly. Dina took a long breath.

Once pulled, he ripped the picture out of the book and then squeezed it into a lump. Hate and vengeance permeate the heart and mind.

At that moment, Dina put away her little dream. To achieve a big dream that can change everything. From now on, he will keep moving.

But in the future, will it stay that way?
