Today is Sunday, exactly a week already I graduated from smp, I just sit relaxing on the porch of the house waiting for my father and mother to come home from the rice fields, he said, the clock on the wall has shown at 15:00 or 3 pm usually at this time my parents have seen from a distance carrying sweet potatoes boiled by mother as our snack while enjoying a sunny afternoon with a warm tea.
From a distance, you can see your father and mother joking while entering our simple house, of course, by carrying sweet potatoes as our dish when chatting.
"Assalamu'alaikum" said my father and mother together.
"Waalaikumsalam" I answered and then rose to help my mother bring the yam of our garden to the back. While the father immediately sat in the yard while fanning his body with a caping commonly used to the rice field.
After helping mom put and baby yams in the kitchen, then I accompanied dad in front of the house.
"Wes ngashar kowe?" (has your ashar prayed?) ask my father who is aware of my presence.
"Sorry yeah" (well already) I answered briefly.
"Pul, kowe tenan wants to go overboard" asked the father looking serious.
"Express well" (yes) I replied briefly.
"Opo's the reason you want to go back?" (what's your reason for wanting to go into bed) asked Dad again.
"Pul wants dadi ustadz kados dad"(id wants to be rich dad) I answered briefly.
Hearing my answer father just smiled, seen the mother out of the house while carrying boiled sweet potatoes and warm tea, I immediately stood up to the mother to help bring a tray and serve it to the father.
"Well, try later tonight dad call kyai Zaenal or gus Fuad his sister Pak kyai, who knows saipul can stay in ndalem kyai most ora more save expenses.
"hmm, yeah wes later abis magrib daddy try yo phone" replied dad.
I smiled as I heard the conversation between the two of them.
We continued the small talk while enjoying my favorite boiled sweet potato snack, finally the night getting late we immediately entered the house to prepare to perform the congregation magrib prayer.
After saying my do'a I went back to the porch, followed by my mother, while my father headed to the living room to call Pak Kyai.
"Pul, miko kowe nek neng hut sing ati-ati, ra need to tour sing ra important" mother's message to me.
"Mom" I answered briefly.
"Piye yeah?" (how is yah?) ask the father who finished the phone.
"Alhamdulillah ma'am, it was Pak kyai dawuh if tomorrow monday has started registration" explained the father to us.
"Pul, it's still at this hour ready all the registration files, tomorrow morning after shubuhan we leave for the cottage" said the father while handing fifty thousand money to me for the needs of photocopies and others.
"Well, well, matur nuwun" I replied immediately entered the house preparing registration files for tomorrow.
The morning after the morning prayer I immediately prepared with a potluck shirt that I brought to change at the cottage for a few months, because my father once said that if you stay at home at least six months should not be able to go home, I prepared all my own needs including all school equipment.
"Piye pul wes ready adoh wong tuo"(how ready to be away from parents) asked my father.
then mom hugged me tightly, "kowe wes gede le" (you're big boy) whispered mom to me then we immediately had breakfast together, then say goodbye to mom.
About two hours drive we entered the cottage area, the atmosphere looked different felt so "cool" but quiet dad said because it was still a holiday atmosphere so many students who went home each², so, maybe later in the afternoon they start returning to the cottage because the learning will begin soon. Finally we arrived at a dormitory "Nur Ilmi" or in Indonesian means the light of science, we both immediately walked towards ndalem kyai Zaenal and gus Fuad together.
Tok.shock.
"Assalamu'alaikum" we said together, then sat on the carpet that was provided to meet the santri guardian who wanted to sowan or visit ndalem.
"Waalaikumsalam, yo wait" came the answer from within.
ceklek.ceklek (key sound played 2x).
"Kang Anwar, O Allah, has not been to the cabin kang for a long time" said the man saw the father, while the father who felt his name called immediately stood up, and hugged very tightly, he said, it looks like the two of them didn't see each other for very long and then they sit back together.
"where was your son you told me about yesterday" gus Fuad asked father.
"it's gus" replied the father, pointing at me.
"Yes wes let's go directly to the office ae kang let immediately in the registration process, it happens that kang kyai is also in the headquarters.
Then we immediately walked the three to the headquarters to submit my registration file, about ten minutes we arrived at the headquarters I immediately took care of all the registration administration while Gus Fuad and father chatted in the waiting chair, about fifteen minutes after I had finished all my administrative affairs I returned to my father's place while Gus Fuad pleaded to call Kyai Zen.
"Piye pul wes in order?" ask dad to me.
"Sorry, yes" I replied.
Then dad went to call mom, while from afar look gus Fuad with kyai Zen walking towards me, when near me immediately greet the two of them.
"This is the son of kang Anwar mas" explained gus Fuad to kyai.
"Kowe looks like your mother's sari, duwe linuwih sing ati-ati le" said Kyai to me while watching me from top to bottom, while I just nodded while digesting her words.
I soon saw my father walking towards us
"Kyai" said father while greeting him takdim.
"Piye you're war?" ask mr. kyai.
"Alhamdulillah healthy kyai" replied the father.
"Wes done kabeh tho?, let's go back to the house first" said Kyai Zen
"Yes kyai" the three of us answered together.
After the magrib, I asked myself to go home after leaving me at the gus Fuad to stay in Ndalem, I also chatted briefly with gus Fuad he told me a lot about the past of father and mother while in the cottage then I also say goodbye to prepare for the test tomorrow.
