Chapter 3: The Lost Temple

[Receiving random quests go to the lost temple defeating the minotaur and saving the ruby. The quest completion reward of 100000 exp and 1 Noble book]

"Well, not bad. Lilim, let's go to the lost temple. We're going to hunt a buffalo." Sakaru shouted to Lilim.

"Good brother..."

Sakaru and Lilim went to the lost temple to complete the quest. Many bat and goblin corpses were lying along the lost temple.

"Dark. huuh... Guys, attack the minotaur simultaneously." *Good... huuh huh.

It sounded from inside the hallway the sound of someone shouting. It's like there's a battle going on in there.

"Sister, what's going on here? Spooky." said Lilim holding tightly onto Sakaru's shirt.

"There's nothing. Let's just observe their fight from a distance." Sakaru replied as he settles among the ruins.

"Sucker, hold the right side. Lunar, prepare the explosive spell. Permanent, protect Ruby lest she get attacked" said one of them.

"Good..."

The four members fought well, but unfortunately it was not enough to defeat the minotaur.

"Goooaarrrrrrrr.r....."

There was a loud shout that echoed throughout the lost temple and made other monsters approach the room.

"Damn, we can't talk..." *bughh...

The minotaur attacked their leader ferociously and made him bounce far back.

Meanwhile behind the ruins...

"Son, shouldn't we help them?" lilim whispers to Sakaru.

"Yes, it seems like it has to be."

Sakaru came out from behind the rocks and shouted...

"All of you, save your leaders and step back... Let me face the minotaur." Shouted Sakaru valiantly.

"Is that a favor? All right then... Save the leader first.."*run and take refuge behind a rock.

"As the old man said, there is a sky above the sky. Looks like you haven't run yet, minotaur."

"Goarrrrrrrr.r.." *swing the axe towards Sakaru

Sakaru easily dodged the minotaur attack and attacked the minotaur with a single strike.

"Smart kick..."

Bughh... Duargg...

The minotaur bounced far back and finally died with just 1 kick launched by Sakaru. The other monsters ran away and none of the monsters dared to come closer.

"What the fuck is that guy? A high-level player?"

"What the fuck is this system?" *look towards Lilim's name.

"Level 16???" keep Sakaru.

Sakaru and Lilim return to Calderock. On the way, there was a strange light with question marks on top of it.

"Sister, what is it?" *pointing towards the light

Sakaru and Lilim approached, and a very bright light appeared to shock Sakaru.

"Please..please...please.."*Running in a pinch with a body full of wounds.

A group of dark elves chased after the princess and surrounded her from all directions.

"Hahaha, you won't be able to run away princess Airis."

"It seems like this is someone's memory. Noble's book reacted to him." Sakaru thought in his mind.

"Sister, sister... What's going on...?"

There was a soothing, warm voice, yet it was very far away. Sakaru opened his eyes and it turned out that it was Lilim's voice.

The light disappears from its place and Sakaru asks what really happened to Lilim.

Lilim explains that Sakaru suddenly fell unconscious and the light Sakaru approached earlier moved towards the cave.

"In the direction of the cave. Let's find out what's really going on here."

Sakaru entered the cave and it turned out that there were only human bones and a piece of paper lying there.

"Whatis that? Spooky.." *holds Sakaru's shirt tight.

Sakaru picked up the piece of paper lying there. After reading the piece of paper, it turned out that the incident had happened for 500 years ago.

It was told in the paper, that the dark elves wanted to snatch the Stone of Eveloden from the kingdom of light to awaken the Elf Demon King by slaughtering the entire royal family.

The Noble Book suddenly glowed and a spirit figure appeared from within the skull.

"O you, the hero of the future who will save the kingdom from destruction. I have entrusted you with the location of the Stone of Eveloden. Find it, and keep it as good as possible."

The spirit disappeared into light and a map appeared engraved inside Noble's book.

"Sister, what's with the skull? The skull disappeared?" lilim asked a little scared and tightened his hand.

"It's nothing, the spirit is happy now. All right, it's time to get back to Calderock."

Sakaru and Lilim return to the city of Calderock. In Sakaru's mind, he kept thinking about what happened with the ancient kingdom before and was curious about the awakened Demon King.

"Well, because the city and the kingdom are still peaceful. It seemed like they still had not found the Eveloden stone and resurrected its demon king. Now I have to keep getting stronger in order to protect everything I want to protect." Sakaru muttered as he clenched his hand.
