CHAPTER 198

David received another call from his members. He just kept silent while biting his lower lip tightly, his annoyed face could not be hidden. His eyes looked at everyone one by one who had a beam of eyes hoping for the good news they would receive. His heart began to fear delivering the news he had just heard.

"mmmmmm...." David sighed. Even one of the jobs he ever lived was as a state security official, when faced with family problems he became very careful. All those who are in front of him now have not healed from the old wounds, got new wounds what they can afford.

"what about them??? " ask Mayleen with worry

David sighed and then said with heart.

"the car that took them.... " David took a breath before continuing his words

"was in an accident and is now being put out by the firemen....."

As soon as he finished hearing David speak Mayleen almost lost consciousness. Sisca Li lost strength in her legs to support her weight. Jackie quickly propped up his wife's body and took her sitting.

Everyone was crying and grieving, but not with Daniel. Suddenly his heart was beating very fast and his blood was creaking rapidly. He recognized this kind of feeling. That feeling only happened when he was with Sarah Li.

Daniel looked around him, there was no energy from Sarah Li. Was this time feeling wrong?? Or is he in deep longing for Sarah Li??

Daniel shook his head. It could not be like this, for years he felt a longing, and never at all like this. This time it was completely different. He's very sure. It's not wrong anymore....

"mami,,,,," the screams of Sisca Li's two children made their eyes turn toward the gate of their housing complex. They both ran while holding hands. The red sedan that drove them to raise the glass coincided when they ran towards the children.

Daniel's throats are getting faster, but he can't guess who's in the car because of his dark glasses.

"my child....." Sisca Li hugged them firmly crying with excitement. Finally what he feared did not happen at all,

"where is he.." asked Sisca Li looking towards the back and the red car was directly the way they died. Daniel quickly got into his sports car and drove it at high speed. They were all shocked to see Daniel's actions as if he was chasing a criminal.

The driver of the red sedan felt that he was being followed by someone, he saw the rearview mirror and smiled faintly. Then he pressed the gas deeper and the speed of the car increased. They were speeding each other in the street. Fortunately tonight was the new year, not many people were on the streets. Everyone prefers to hang out with family because the weather will be very cold tonight.

While on a quiet road, the sedan car went into a hole of light and disappeared from the surface of the earth. Daniel did not believe what he saw and then he blinked and rubbed his eyes many times. Who it was, really made him curious. Daniel looked around, the forest and there was no sign of people living in this area.

Daniel was silent to see the atmosphere around him, familiar. Although it has changed a lot, but he recognized this hill is a hill of memories that he had not visited for a long time. Daniel got out of the car and looked around. He immediately pulled out his phone ordering his person to come to his current location and look for the whereabouts of someone he might suspect.

It did not take long, 3 mpv cars soon arrived and Daniel members down as many as 10 people more.  Daniel asked them to disperse to explore this hill of remembrance.

"if anything is suspicious, call me immediately" Daniel ordered. Members of Daniel in thick jackets scour the forest looking for the whereabouts of someone unknown to them. All they know is to look for someone they don't know how they are.

For almost an hour they went around and found no results. The temperature gets colder and Daniel decides to end his search with his team. While on the road, down the hill, Daniel's heart beat fast again and his blood rippled. Daniel stopped his steps and looked back. Something that his eyes could not see, but he felt that someone was standing right in front of him.

What and who??? Daniel doesn't know either.

Good or bad?? Danie couldn't be sure either.

Daniel stuck out his hand as if he wanted to touch something in front of him, he felt warm. Unbelieving what his hands were feeling, he opened the leather gloves. The extremely cold weather was approaching minus but there was a sense of warmth when he stuck out his hand.

"sir... did something happen???" ask one of the guards

Daniel was still silent and felt the heat radiate into his heart. He was calm and peaceful for a moment. All of that was gone in a matter of seconds. He felt nothing more, only the cold pricked his fingers.

Daniel felt and took a step forward, trying to get the same warmth, but in vain. Nothing happened and there was no feeling. Why all this?? What nature is playing - play with her feelings.

Daniel's eyes glanced to the right. All its members too. They felt that someone was lurking at them from the right. Something powerful and threatening. They immediately surrounded Daniel to protect him. The bushes in the forest swayed and sounded like the sound of a series of steps approaching. And they immediately prepared with the appearance of the creature before him.

A large, light green snake was seen before them. And they're facing each other now. Everyone breathed a sigh of relief, nothing dangerous happened. They soon left the hill of memories.

Daniel looked back as he was walking and saw that the serpent had disappeared in the darkness of the night in the forest.
