Girl Child

"Mr, are you home? Just who, sir?", asked Bu Rani, the wife of Mr. Tito, who was sitting on the porch of the house, when he saw Mr. Tito coming with a girl.

"Know, Mom, this is Renatha Giana, just call Rere. He's an orphan, Mom. Just came from the village. He went to the office where he worked, and vacancies. Coincidentally open the cleaning service section again. Tomorrow's the plan, Rere's going to get into his job application, ma'am. Well, you feel sorry for him, because he has no place to live. "I'm eighteen years old, ma'am", Rere replied.

"Who said? You are beautiful, son. Very beautiful", replied Ms. Rani.

"Welcome to our hut, son. I'm so glad you want to stay with us. All this time me and Mr. Tito were just the two at home. We don't have children, son. It seems like God did send Nak Rere here to accompany us" said Bu Rani.

"Let me stay here for a few days, ma'am. I promise I won't trouble you and Mom" Rere said.

"You can stay here as long as you can, son. Let us consider you as our son. And if you want, think of us as your parents" replied Ms. Rani.

Rere's tears flowed hearing Bu Rani's sincerity. How could it be, the person she had only known for a few minutes, welcomed her so warmly and accepted her even thought of her as a child.

"Thank you, Sir, Mom. Rere promised to repay all the kindness of Father and Mother. Rere won't trouble you and Mom. Rere was very moved because Rere could have a complete parent", Rere cried while hugging Bu Rani.

"So, now Rere's in first. There's one empty room, so you can use that room to be your room, son", Mr. Tito patted Rere on the back.

"Yes, Sir. Thanks though. Rere's permission to enter, sir", said Rere.

Bu Rani sends Rere to her room.

"Don't say it, son. Consider it your own home. You are now the son of Father and Mother. If you need anything, or want to tell us anything, you can tell us. I've longed for this kind of atmosphere where we can have children" Ms Rani said.

"Mom", Rere cried again and hugged Bu Rani.

"The first time I saw you, I was sure you were a good boy" Ms. Rani stroked Rere's back.

"Okay, let's clean this room first. So that you can be comfortable here", ask Bu Rani.

"Yes, Mom. But let Rere be the clean one, Mom", Rere replied, which made Bu Rani shake her head.

"No, son, you're Mom's son, so I want to clean Mom's daughter's room as well" replied Ms. Rani smiling.

It turned out that Mr. Tito was watching them from outside the room. Her heart was very happy and very grateful, because they finally could have a beautiful daughter. Their families are getting full now. There is a Father, a Mother, and a Girl.
