Devil In My Life's

Devil In My Life's
Threatened Paralyzed

“Weak! What does that mean, Doc?" Ema blinked her eyes a few times.

"Look, as a result of one of his blood vessels ruptured, the flow of blood from the heart to his arm became blocked. It causes a lack of stability between the left arm and the right arm. Maybe the effect is not significant, but slowly it will be seen. Miss Avisa's left arm is going to weaken!"

Clearly Ema was very astonished by the words of Dr. Arta. His lips quivered as he threw the question, "A-is it ... could it get worse, Doc?"

"Yes, if left alone it could lead to paralysis."

"Lu-paralyzed, so he meant .. Miss Avisa's left arm could be paralyzed? There's gotta be something we can do, right, Doc?"

"Of course, Ema. We should stimulate his left arm often. But also should not be too tired and carry heavy loads. It can be fatal!"

The result of the lash apparently left a fatal wound for Avisa. One of the blood vessels in his left back ruptured, resulting in obstructed blood flow from the heart to the left arm. Avisa's left arm is threatened with paralysis if not handled properly.

Ema was devastated to hear that, it was indeed just her left arm. But still, it's not worth it.

Ema's body staggered, Luckily behind her right on the wall so she could lean back. If the nonanya knew this, she would be very sad and hurt.

"Gee!"

"It's not fair, Doctor. This is not fair!" the stuff covered the mouth with the palm.

Doctor Arta could see the sincerity that Ema had towards Avisa. The girl loved Avisa like a brother so the pain of Avisa could also hurt her heart.

"Ema, you must be stronger than Miss Avisa. Because only you can strengthen it!" doctor Arta tried to give him some encouragement.

Ema stopped her crying, "You're right, Doctor. Right now Miss only has me. I have to be stronger if I want Miss to be stronger" she wiped her tears and looked at Doctor Arta. "Thank you, Doctor. You're so nice, willing to listen to me!"

Arta developed a smile back, "If Miss Avisa experiences something, you can contact me!”

Ema nodded too. He returned to Avisa's room, the girl fell asleep again. Ema threw herself on the couch. Staring at his nona lying there really makes his heart ache. He still vividly remembered how Avisa had helped him, picked him up from the streets and gave him shelter.

Eleven years ago ....

Ema walked the hot and scorching streets with a warp. For three weeks he was stuck in the streets, having nothing but clothes attached to his body. Three weeks ago his parents, who were factory workers, died in a traffic accident. In an instant he became an orphan. Not only that, he was also expelled from the contract because there was no guarantee. He did not know at all whether his parents had a brother or not, but after his parents died there was no one who came to him and intended to take care of him. It became shaken. He was 11 years old, hungry but penniless. He tried to find a job to be able to connect with life but no one wanted to accept. He could only eat from scavenging the leftovers in the trash, for three weeks he survived like that. Sleeping anywhere that is important can be easy.

Ema's steps stopped in the courtyard of a restaurant. He had just seen a waiter dumping leftovers into the trash. He rushed to the trash can and began to scavenge, hoping to get the rest of the food that could still prop up his stomach.

Just behind the glass wall, Avisa who was having lunch with her parents saw a child her age was stirring up garbage. It looked so cute, it seemed like the girl had never taken a shower. His shabby face was shrugged when his hands found the rest of the burger. The girl was about to eat it but was delayed when a security reprimanded her.

"Hey, you. Why are you there?"

"Sa-me _"

"You want to steal?"

"No, Sir. I just take this leftover food!" he showed the rest of the burger in his dirty hands.

"Halaah, don't lie to you. Small children are thieves! Go there! Later the customers here on the run are you who stink this!" security pushed Ema to fall, the leftover burger in her hand was blown off into a puddle of rain last night. Ema could only cry in silence, holding her stomach wrapped around her.

Avisa immediately ran outside the restaurant.

"Avisa, where are you going?" asked Aliza who was surprised her daughter suddenly ran out. He followed closely with Irawan.

Avisa stood by Ema's side, "You llapa?" her tanyanya made Ema look up. Ema was glued to look at the beautiful girl of her age saying hello. He can only nod.

Avisa unhappily thrusts a hand to help Ema stand up. Ema stared at Avisa's clean white hand. Slowly, he greeted the hand and stood up.

Avisa developed a smile, "Why are you looking for food in the trash? Is it dirty and unhygienic?"

"I don't have any money.”

"Where is your house?"

"I don't have a house."

"Who are you talking to? Ihhh .. don't get close, he's very dirty and smelly. Must have many diseases!" Aliza pulled Avisa away.

"But, Ma. He's starving!"

Avisa held back, "Ma, pity her. He has no home, he is hungry. We'll feed ya, Ma!"

"Avisa .. you know, now that's a lot of impostors pretending to be poor!"

"But, Ma. He's not pretending!" Avisa keukeh with her thoughts.

"How do you know?"

"I know, Ma. I can see he's honest."

"Aliza, what's wrong?" Irawan approaching.

"This, Pa. Avisa wants to get this little girl to eat, which is right!"

"Avisa, don't get close to people like them. They just tricked you!"

"But, Pa. He's really hungry, he's taking food out of the trash, poor Pa!"

"Yes, give him the money and tell him to go!" Irawan orders with a huffed tone.

"But he doesn't have a home, where is he going?" avisa's speech made Irawan break his steps when he was about to go back inside. He looked at his daughter inside.

"It's none of our business, Avisa."

"Pa, let's take him home!" pinta Avisa made both her parents glare.

"What!" call both at the same time.

"He doesn't have a home, so let him stay in our house? She can also find Avisa if Mama and Papa are busy!"

Irawan and Aliza threw eyes at each other, they were indeed sometimes busy until his daughter felt lonely. Avisa's not too close to her cousins except Agha. But Agha also does not every day end at home. If there was a child of Avisa's age who accompanied her to play-daughter it would definitely not be lonely.

Irawan looked at Ema, "Who's your name?"

"E-Ema, Master!" his lips trembled with fear and also hunger.

"Well, you can stay in our house!" tukas Irawan made Ema widen both eyes. "As a servant. Your job is to accompany Avisa. If Avisa wants to eat, you get it. If Avisa needs something, you provide it. Anyway your job is to serve Miss Avisa, got it?"

"Really, Sir. I can work at home, sir?" with eyes glazed.

"You heard what my husband said. You'll be our daughter's servant!" timpal Aliza's.

"Thank you, Mister. Madam!" Ema couldn't help but cry. The family was the first to care for her after her parents died. Ema then looked at Avisa with great respect.

"Miss, thank you very much. I promise I will work well. I will serve Miss for the rest of my life!" ema promised.

Avisa's widening her smile, "Yes, and we'll be friends."

"Not a friend, Avisa. He's your servant!" Aliza reminded.

I will never forget that day forever. Avisa gives her a place to live, a decent life despite only being her servant. He is happy to serve Avisa.

Ema got up from the sofa, approached Avisa's bed. Staring at the angelic hearted girl in love.

"Miss," her lips trembled, "Miss has lifted me from the mud. Makes me an honorable human being despite being only a servant. If ... I could take the place of Miss's punishment, Miss wouldn't be like this!"

He was already trying to run towards Avisa when Agha whipped Avisa. But one of Agha's men held him and released him after Avisa fell.

"I'm sorry for being negligent!"

"Delayed?" asked Avisa softly, making Ema widen her eyes.
