Flashback

Edward was silent for a moment, trying to recall the events he had experienced while still in prison.

Astrid sits quietly waiting for Edward to start telling her, Antoni who is beside Astrid is also waiting for Edward to start talking.

Edward let out a sigh, He stared fixedly at Astrid's face sitting in front of him.

"The Father shall begin in prison." Said Edward.

Back a few dozen years ago, in a detention house.

In a dining room in the prison, it is seen that the inmates are enjoying their food, some are still eating their food and some are finished eating, prison guards were seen standing guard around the dining room and in front of the entrance to the prison's dining room.

Edward had just finished eating, and he got up from his seat, He was going back to his cell, because he had finished eating.

As Edward walked leisurely, from the front, came a burly man holding a knife in his hand.

The man, known as Jackson, walked quickly toward Edward, as they passed each other and faced each other, quickly throwing a knife in his hand into Edward's stomach.

Edward gasped in shock holding his wounded stomach and bleeding, He stared intently at the face of Jackson who stabbed him, then, Jackson pulled a knife from Edward's stomach, and then, Jackson pulled a knife out of Edward's stomach, so Edward fell sprawled on the floor of the prison's dining room.

All the Inmates in the room gasped in shock, as soon as the prison stirred with Edward's stabbing, the sirens of danger rang out, the entrance to the dining room opened, then, and then, several prison guards came to the room and immediately secured Jackson, who was still holding a knife in his hand, stood staring sinisterly at Edward's face lying on the floor covered with blood on his wounded stomach.

Inmates gathered, some guards took Jackson, the gunman stabbed Edward, and the other guards confronted the inmate who tried to get close to Edward who was lying on the floor.

Then, several other prison guards quickly carried Edward's body and took him away from the dining room.

Ambulance sirens rang, the car drove at high speed, down the road, in it, saw Edward lying weakly with an infusion device, there were two medics who checked his condition.

The car continued to drive on the road, arriving only, a car appeared suddenly and then stopped the ambulance.

Because there was a car in front of him, the ambulance driver quickly stepped on the brakes, and stopped the car.

The ambulance stopped right in front of the car blocking the road.

Then, from inside the car that blocked the ambulance, out four people dressed neatly and holding a gun in his hand.

They immediately ran to the ambulance, one of them knocked on the door and told them to open the ambulance door.

The ambulance door was opened from the inside, then, the four men immediately pointed a gun at the two medics in the ambulance were checking Edward's condition.

The four men then pulled Edward out of the ambulance, and two men took Edward into their car, while two others shot two medics in the ambulance, the ambulance driver was also shot.

They killed the medics because they did not want any witnesses to see them abduct Edward.

Edward who was in the car and immediately taken away from the place.

At one place, in the room, Edward had finished surgery, and the wound in his stomach was sewn.

Edward who was still weak saw someone standing beside the bed, Edward was surprised to see it.

"Simon ?" edward asked, looking at the man with an astonished face, Edward recognized the face.

"Yes, right, I'm Simon. You remember me." Simon said, laughing happily at the face of Edward who was lying on the bed.

"Why am I here?" Ask Edward.

"My men brought you, and you've been treated." Simon says.

"Why did you kidnap me?" ask Edward.

"What do you want?" ask Edward.

"I want you to run my errands from me." Simon said, with a cool attitude.

"Task ? What task ?!!" ask Edward wonder.

"Killing Gerard and the police chief named January." Simon's Speech.

"What ?!! I can't do it, I'm not a killer!" Edward said, refusing.

"Don't turn me down, Edward, I saved your life, and released you from prison." Simon's Speech.

"Come, our enemy is the same, I just want you to do my job, that's all." Simon's Speech.

"I can't." Said Edward.

"You refuse, You won't be able to go anywhere, you'll I'll lock up in a cramped room, I won't feed and drink, until you're willing to run errands from me." said Simon.

"Civilized You!!" Jerky Edward.

"I'm not asking you to help me ! And I don't want to do your dirty work!" Hardik Edward's.

"I don't want to dirty my hands because you comply with your request, you deliberately want to wash your hands, and make me the culprit !!" Jerky Edward.

"Come on, you've been listed as a criminal all this time, there's no harm in doing my duty" said Simon.

"I just want to kill Gerard and January, because they've destroyed my business and taken my business territory out of my hands, and I want to take it back out of their hands !" Simon explained to Edward.

"Just do it yourself, don't get me in your trouble, I have my own problems !!" Edward said.

"And what is this stabbing of me You made the screenplay ? To get me out of jail, get taken to the hospital and then you kidnap Me and kill the medics who drove me to the hospital?!!" Said Edward.

"Yes, I deliberately planned all that, because, I know, all this time, you've been trapped by the Gerard Plot, they control all your property and company, and slander you!" Simon says.

"For that, I thought, I'll use you as my hand , to take revenge on Gerard and January !!" Strictly Simon, looking intently at Edward's face.

"I don't want to do what you tell me to do!" Edward.

"You refuse, I will kill your son! I know about your daughter, I know where she is ! And I will not hesitate to kill your son, if you refuse my request!! Remember it was Edward !!" Strictly Simon, stared furiously at Edward.

Simon turned and left Edward lying in bed, Edward sighed, He was worried about the safety of Astrid, his son, because Simon threatened Him earlier.

Edward was confused, afraid that his son would be killed if he did not want to carry out the duties of Simon. But on the one hand, he doesn't want to be a murderer because of Simon's orders.

Indeed, he was also angry and took revenge on Gerard and his conspirators, including January, who had been involved in destroying him first.

But, Edward had his own way, even if He ended up killing Gerard, it was because of his own desire, and not because of obeying people's orders, let alone doing it because of getting a threat.

Edward didn't want to help Simon, he knew, Simon was as much of an asshole as Gerard and his accomplice, Simon was a notorious and ruthless mobster, his domain was vast, he was successful in running his drug business.

Edward knew the lunge Simon, because they had met once, during a show one of Gerard and Edward's friends.

Gerard was still good friends with Simon, and Gerard introduced Simon to Edward at the party.

Edward sighed, He looked at the whole room, the room was closed, Edward thought, looking for a way to escape from the place.

He did not want to be confined forever in that room, nor did He want to do Simon's work, Edward did not want to be Simon's man.

For if He were willing to keep Simon's command, He would automatically become Simon's man, Simon's messenger, and Simon would keep him from doing his other dirty work. Edward didn't want to commit Simon's crime.

He will flee and flee from that place, so that He will not continue to be under pressure and not be under Simon's control .
