Alex leads Aliya back to the room. As soon as he arrived in the room, he helped Aliya to lie down, and covered the woman. After making sure Aliya is comfortable with the position of the bed, Alex chose to move, and turned off the room lights, leaving the sleeping lights that he had turned on before
"Do you still want to eat?" ask Alex, because Aliya just ate a little
"No, I just want to sleep" Aliya replied
"All right, but don't you want anything else? Maybe a snack or something?"
"No"
"All right"
Alex seems a little awkward to be in this position. To be honest he was eager to lie down with his wife, and take her in his arms. But to do that feels very heavy, because he is afraid Aliya actually feels uncomfortable if he acts far away
"You're not sleeping?" ask Aliya
"Yes, I'm going to sleep, you go first"
"All right"
Aliya turned her body sideways and turned her back to Alex. He tried to close his eyes, but unfortunately his eyes seemed reluctant to be closed. He continued to move restlessly, looking for a comfortable position for him to sleep. But unfortunately, until a few minutes passed, he still did not get a comfortable sleeping position
"Al, what's wrong?" alex asked as he watched his wife move around uncomfortably
"It's okay, I'm just not sleepy yet"
"You sure? Not because of anything else, is it?" ask Alex to worry
"No"
"All right"
The meaningless words became the chatter between Aliya and Alex tonight. Yes, without meaning, because when Alex asked, Aliya would answer the potluck, then they fell silent again. Likewise with Aliya, when she asked, Alex also only answered as if, making the two fall silent again, as if the chatter between them was no longer there
"Lexi..."
"I..."
The two looked at each other when they both mentioned each other's names "You go first" Aliya said
"No, ladies first" Alex said
"No, you go first" Aliya refused
"Sleep here, it's cold downstairs" Aliya said
"You sure?"
"Hm"
"Thank you"
Alex put the pillow in its place. He climbed into the bed, and lay down beside Aliya. For a moment, the views of the couple met, then both of them were the same as turning their faces because they felt awkward
"Why aren't you asleep?" alex asked as he looked up at the sky in the room
"Not sleepy"
Alex turned his gaze, and looked at Aliya's face back, and coincidentally Aliya also looked at her. Until their eyes meet again. But the different thing is, this time Alex no longer shifted his gaze, while Aliya, the pregnant mother looked back at the sky room because she still felt awkward
"May I hug you?" ask Alex
"Huh?"
"Maybe our son wants me to hug you so he can sleep" Alex explained
"No need, usually I can still sleep even if you don't hug. I'm just not sleepy right now"
"There's no harm in trying, right? Besides, I want to hug you too"
"Huh?"
"I want to hug you. How, are you allowing it?"
Aliya was silent as if considering. Even if there was only one person who could see his heart, maybe that person would giggle amusedly. Because Aliya's face seemed to show rejection, while her heart was actually as if prancing with excitement because of a tempting offer from Alex
"Al, how?"
"Yes if you force it"
Alex smiled happily. He then shifted his body and took his wife into an embrace, while his hands had been gently rubbing his wife's stomach. As if a miracle had happened, a few minutes had passed, Aliya was completely asleep in Alex's arms
"Good night Al"
